Chernobylite Complete Edition - Pablo

Secondly, an equally important event is the premiere of Chernobylite’s Season 3: Green Walls. We promised you new content throughout the year, and we kept our word. This time we give you another package with a new map, new weapon and a new gameplay mode, plus additional fixes and optimizations that you asked for.



The new map, i.e. Cooling Towers - an unfinished building (obviously), which construction has been suspended due to the disaster at the Chernobyl power plant. Now you have the opportunity to visit it in person and admire the unfinished structure from the inside. Literally.








New weapon, namely, the Soviet Makarov. At first glance, an inconspicuous automatic pistol that has appeared here and there in various games. However, in Chernobylite, this gun can be an extremely effective weapon, especially if it’s subjected to appropriate modifications.



The new mode is called Gate of Madness. We took the difficulty level to (literally) the next level because we felt Insane was way too easy. We've added so many variables to tweak the difficulty level that perhaps the next step would be to replace the "New Game" button with "Game Over" button.

And of course, don't forget about one more thing: paid Zone Bard DLC that adds radio to your base. Thanks to this, you can play music in your base that suits your mood. Actually, to mark this occasion, we added some new, previously unpublished songs.

Gas Station Simulator - DRAGO entertainment


From the feedback so far we noticed you like the airstrip idea, but are also wondering why we went with planes.

There are multiple reasons for that. We figured planes fit nicely into the workflow on the gas station since you are already dealing with fuel and some light repairs. And planes would really work well to provide some variety, especially as they aren’t meant to be a frequent occurrence like cars.

Another reason is to expand on something we started doing. As you might have noticed, by adding Halloween content to the game earlier this week, we also made sure that if you bought the Can Touch This DLC that you see a difference between having the DLC or just the base game.

With the Airstrip DLC we’d like to take it a bit further. As you might know, the rather large Shady Deals DLC is scheduled later next year after Airstrip. What we want to do is having Shady Deals offer some additional content if you also have the Airstrip DLC. Thematically it’s just too good a fit to pass it up. Not many things go so hand in hand with shady deals then small private planes. Every good drug movie teaches us that :P

To get the Shady Deals DLC to use the Airstrip DLC when available is the reason we decided to switch some things around and release it way earlier.
There were always two ideas for how to expand the gas station that were on our minds from very early on: an airstrip and a junkyard. We always planned to do those, but never right away, more like way, way later down the road. Before that we wanted to add more conventional content like handling electric vehicles, trucks etc.

Item customisation

Your cult is unique to you, so make it truly yours with even more item customisation!



Loads of game items now have colour options to suit your Cult's theme!



Floor customisation

A big request that we have seen during Early Access is that we allow Cult Leaders to change the flooring of their rooms! We've listened to this feedback and have implemented a comprehensive and varied flooring system.



You can choose from a selection of floor styles and use many colours to make each compound room unique to you. Do you want your bathrooms to have bright yellow carpet, go for it! It might help cover up any stains 😱



Improved item spacing

We have also fine-tuned the object placement spacing. When it comes to planning your compound, you can now place your objects on a more compact grid, (32px instead of 64px)



This means you can be more precise with your room layouts, make better use of the space and fill rooms more efficiently to improve their prestige rating!

Pre-Halloween greetings, friends!

First of all: Thank you so much, folks! Each and everyone of you who enjoys Jack's adventure! I really appreciate that. ❤️

I don't know about you, but I am a sucker for great and creative artstyle. Oh, and for roguelites. And for pumpkins of course. And that's what makes Paper Cut Mansion a perfect fit.

You play as police detective Toby, who investigates an old, and spooky mansion, that is a pleasantly reminiscence of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. The goal is to find out the secret of the mansion, and as it should be for a roguelite, it takes several attempts to do so, during which permanent equipment is collected.

I really like this kind of game, and that's why I've decided to team up with the devs and we worked together to have an awesome Pumpkin Jack costume in Paper Cut Mansion! So, get the burning pumpkin on Toby's head and enjoy the spooky, halloweenish roguelite mood!

This is Halloween, which means brains are in high demand! Sharpen your machete and get into battle with the jackass zombies.

Zombie chop will be available in the new game mode "Zombie Rush" until 11th of November at 13:00 UTC.

All battles will be played with the crunch of bones of the constantly advancing zombie waves in cooperative mode. However you will be able to play in a squad of up to 5 people, as well as on your own.

The most important thing is to protect your totems! With every zombie wave, they will change from brainless mass to fierce assassins... Each time there will be more and more, Rippers and zombies with weapons (MP18 and flamethrower) will appear.

But that's not all the features in Zombie Rush:
  • Before the first wave, there is a 1.5 minute preparation phase to collect loot and find shelter.
  • The first wave of bloodthirsty zombies lasts up to 2 minutes. Each following wave lasts longer by an additional 15 seconds.
  • There can be 1 to 3 totems in each wave. They have a total of 1200 Health Points, and they are distributed evenly across all totems.
  • After a wave ends, new loot and totems with full Health Points appear in a nearby village.
  • When the wave ends, all players activate the ‘Ghost Flight’ ritual with which you can fly to a nearby village in the breeze.
  • Before the final battle, you will have more time to rest and prepare.
  • The final attack will last up to 5 minutes.
  • You must survive 7 waves to win.
  • The more waves you survive, the more experience you gain.
  • Dead players are respawned after the end of a wave, as long as at least 1 player out of 5 involved in the battle is alive.
  • You lose if all players have died or if all totems have been destroyed.
Rewards
Each day, a player will have 1 task available - kill 350 zombies, the reward is similar to the daily in the normal modes. The difference is that the task must be completed in a limited time.

For completing 10 quests, a player is also guaranteed a Halloween Chest. Every 14 days there is a complete reset: mode changes and progress on completed quests.

Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy - jd
This week we were inspired by some talks at Roguelike Celebration. In particular the talk about trap design led to many improvements of traps and hazards in the game. To be frank, traps in particular could do with some work for a long time now. Traps and natural hazards appear now in more interesting combinations where we prefer to create an interesting cascade of effects rather than instant damage from hidden triggers.

The work on traps is not finished; we expect to add more variety to them over the next couple of weeks.

New Features
- Added flamer type automatons.
- New type of hidden pressure plates that are more fair.
- Improved the generator rules for creating traps, secrets, and natural hazards.

Bug Fixes
- Duplicate world events are ignored, save games with a huge number of duplicate world events are automatically restored.
- You cannot over charge the Helico after you have taken its sigils.
- Adding a map diagnostic to make sure nodes with encounters are not disabled.
- Fixes a possible stall when loading a savegame.
- Added a new automatic fix for worlds generated with incorrect versions of the High Pass.
- The chest on the top of the spiked spire is generated correctly.
- Fixes rare generator issue with ‘hard mud barriers’.
