Early Campaign Access(1): The Ultimate Way to Play
Task Force 141 is expecting you to report for duty up to a week before the official launch of Modern Warfare II. Are you up for the challenge?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkCdEvKUAKA This intel has been verified: Anyone who preorders a digital edition of Modern Warfare II will receive early Campaign access in addition to a host of other previously announced rewards. This grants you up to a week to complete the incredible multimission, single-player, globe-trotting operation before the full game launches on October 28. Preorder the game here.
Familiar heroes return and new allies are formed as Task Force 141 faces its greatest threat yet — a newly aligned menace with deep, yet unknown connections.
This Campaign features missions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and is set to be an incredible experience on numerous levels: offshore sieges with underwater combat, all-out explosive assaults from 30,000 feet above enemy strongholds, and high-stakes, low-profile stealth missions in both plain sight and under the cover of darkness. New World Update 1.6.3 downtime will begin at 11:00PM PT (6:00AM UTC) on August 16 and includes fixes to musical performances.
COMBAT/AI
Fixed an issue that caused weapon projectiles to disappear when either attacking a target that was close in proximity or hitting certain types of ground.
ECONOMY/PROGRESSION
Fixed an issue that caused Surgeon's Ring, Keepsake of the Divines, Isabella's Amulet, Forgotten Vow, and Fanciful Earring to not allow players to replace gems. Gem swapping is now permissible for these items.
Fixed an issue that caused the Deep Earring to use the incorrect perk. New versions of this item should now have the “Refreshing Toast” perk as intended.

WORLD EXPERIENCE
Musical Instruments
Fixed an issue that caused players to get stuck if they teleported or if the server crashed during a musical performance.
Reduced the XP curve for the Musical Instrument Trade Skill, lowering the total time it takes to level up.
Tipping performers now uses the secondary interaction hotkey (default 'T') rather than the primary interaction hotkey (default 'E'), standardizing key use for performances.
Summer Medleyfaire
Fixed an issue that caused sound effects to not play when dispersing Maudlinbug swarms.
Fixed an issue that caused event Town Projects to not register as complete after a world restart, which prevented several town bestowments from upgrading to the next tier.
Fixed an issue that caused the Medleyfaire Wind Sock furniture item reward to display without said wind sock.
General
Additional server and client performance optimizations.
EXPEDITIONS
Barnacles & Black Powder
Fixed an issue that caused an invincibility bug with the Nereid’s Rend debuff. Now that it has been fixed, this debuff will also be re-enabled.
Light Armor rewards from this Expedition should now always drop in the intended Gear Score range of 500 - 600.
Thanks for your support! We'll see you in Aeternum.
We are thrilled to welcome you to the Summer Patch! We’ve put a lot of work into this latest update, from new content to features that we’ve been excited about for a long time. It’s your turn to tell us what you think! Let’s dig into what we have in store for you.
New Content
Introducing: Tubular Sprint Car
These roaring beasts bring on a whole new challenge for Circuit Superstars drivers. They thrive in their native Poke Bowl but we can’t wait to see what kind of combinations you will have fun with!

New Features
Player Card
Your player card is now displayed in the Main Menu and during the start of online races. Your card lists your rank across Grand Prix, Online and Weekly Time Trials.
Online Ranked Progression
Compete against others online to earn points and rank up the ladder. There are 20 ranks, leading all the way up to the last rank: Superstar!
This new system will need your feedback and tuning as we prepare to introduce seasons soon. Be sure to let us know what you think!
Time Trial Ranks
These challenges now contribute to a Time Trial Rank, shown on your Player Card. Competing each week adds points to your rank and gives you a new result each week as you compete vs other players worldwide.
Grand Prix Progression Update
We revisited the design of this feature by adding new tournaments, improving the existing ones and adding a ranking system. You earn rank points by completing tournaments in different difficulties.
We also added a new system to unlock tournaments as you progress.
Note: If you have completed the GP mode before, there is a button to reset GP progress under the Extra Settings in the Settings menu.
Saved Tournaments
You can now exit tournaments and your progress will be saved from the last race you completed.
Names Above Cars
Cars now feature player name tags above them, while the active player has an arrow indicating where they are. These can be seen in the podium, gameplay and replays!
This feature can be toggled by default with right bumper / right shift.
Performance optimization
We have made significant performance improvements to our tracks and rendering. Players on lower end machines should experience improved performance.
Graphical improvements to tracks
Lighting reworked as part of the optimization process.
Rennvoort has flowers again.
Most dirt surfaces now receive tire marks.
Improvements to water lighting.
Other Adjustments
Maximum Slipstream distance reduced from 45 to 35.
Maximum Slipstream strength reduced by 15%.
Car collision physics tuned, reduced torque resistance by 17%.
New UI Sound Effects.
Wider camera lens at top speed.
Settings are now accessible in the Pause Menu

We're super excited to announce that we're heading to EGX this September!
Hearing from you directly about your experience with Republic of Jungle is invaluable to us as developers. So, we're genuinely extremely excited to get to go to an in-person event again and to hopefully meet some of you there.
We will post a map of our position on the show floor closer to the event, so keep an eye out for that.
Streamers and Content Creators
If you're thinking of playing Republic of Jungle on stream, we want to help. We'd love to chat with you about how we can make streaming RoJ as seamless as possible.
We will be taking the names of those who would like to make Republic of Jungle content at our booth, across EGX, so drop by and let us know if you're thinking of doing so.
We will also be opening applications to join our Ambassador Programme (more details to follow soon) on the first day of the event and will be giving exclusive RoJ merch to those who apply, whilst stocks last.
It's Showtime!
On the Sunday we'll be live on the EGX Stage where our Jarvis will be joined by WhatCulture Gaming's Scott Tailford, Jules Gil & James Dowsee, plus Twitch Partner Nikoheart.
Head to the stage area for 1:30 pm to watch us reveal the brand new version of Republic of Jungle LIVE!
We will be playing a couple of rounds with the boys and can already foresee the chaos that will unfold. Trust us, you won't want to miss this!
Then we will be adding a couple of players to the roster when we ask two people from the audience to join us on stage to play one final round with us.
We may even have a few things to giveaway during the show...who knows?
Hope to See You There
We'd love to meet you all. So, please do find us at our booth to say hello or join us for a meet and greet after our show on Sunday, where you'll get the chance to meet Nikoheart and the WhatCulture Gaming guys and to chat to Jarvis about Republic of Jungle, should you have any questions.
Hey look, the co-op and conquest update is out! This huge update for Airships has been four years in the making, and it's the completion of an eight-year development project.
Headline features are:
Co-Op Combat
Any number of players and AIs can fight on both sides of airship battles. You can set up custom multiplayer battles as well as fight alongside your allies in conquest mode.
Diplomacy
Previously, empires were in a state of permanent war. Now there is a detailed system of diplomacy, allowing for non-aggression pacts, defensive pacts, alliances, trade and research treaties, tribute, ceding territory, and more.
You can also send ultimatums to other empires, demanding that they accede to your terms and threatening retaliation otherwise.
The AI personalities can evaluate and send any kind of diplomatic interaction, and there are tooltips that clearly explain their reasoning.
There are no artificial limits on who you can go to war with, but you do have a reputation to consider. A bad reputation can make you the target of glory-seeking empires and weaken your espionage and counter-espionage efforts. And a high enough reputation - and a sizeable territory - can make it possible for you to win by crowning yourself emperor.
Upgrades and Specials
You can now upgrade your cities with shipyards to rapidly build fleets, police stations to control unrest, scientific labs, factories, skyscrapers, and more.
And some towns provide unique bonuses from resources such as silk, great forests, and floathoney and special institutions such as the Spire of Learning and the old Imperial Post Office. Depending on your strategy of choice, these towns may be extremely valuable to you.
Eras
As the game progresses, your capacity for ruling your empire increases, granting you faster research, more spies, and less unrest - and then a special era comes along that significantly changes the way the game plays. A long, deep winter freezes the land and makes it hard to procure supplies. An age of decadence offers opportunities for raising your reputation and destroying others'. Or a plague breaks out.
Some of these eras can be "won" by an empire, gaining it a massive boost in reputation or other advantages. For example, an age of piety is won by whoever controls all holy sites in the land.
Future Plans
So those are the major features. This update concludes feature development on the game, so after this, I'll be doing bug fixes and balancing, but there won't be any new free content or mechanics in the game.
I will likely do a DLC for the game, but I want to fix the bugs and take some time to rest before I announce anything. :)
Speaking of bugs, if you encounter problems with the game, send me an email or head over to the Discord to report them. We've been beta testing this thing heavily for the past months, but no game is ever bug-free.
At this point I also want to especially thank the game's beta testers, who have found a whole bunch of bugs and some enjoyable exploits, such as "you can just pay everyone to be friends with you and win".
One More Thing
With the feature list for the update known for months and years now, I worried that the release would be a bit anticlimactic, so I snuck in one more big feature: direct control mode.
You can now select a ship, click on the direct control button, and gain fine-grained control of your craft. You can tell your weapons exactly where to fire, your engines whether to go forward, stop, or reverse, and your lift chambers which altitude to maintain. As soon as you leave direct control, your commands are forgotten, and the ship resumes normal operation. This is of course available in both singleplayer and multiplayer. :)
Other Features
Finally, here's a more or less complete list of other features that I added, though I probably forgot some things:
Eight new music tracks by renowned musician Curtis Schweitzer
Unrest and supply mechanics
Revamped espionage system
Optional combat autoresolve
Prettier map
New fleet designs contributed by the community
Reactive hint system for conquest
Many more achievements
Updated user interface appearance
Ability to request siege assistance from your allies
