Hello! Welcome to the sunny Alaskan enviroment! Well maybe not that sunny but here where i write this weather is just... "too good" if you know what i mean. Hard to concentrate on snowy Alaskan atmosphere!
In today episode of our devlog i will help you prepare to the adventuring by showing some cool backpack, some concept art and a transition from very old Alaska build to a new one! This one is very interesting, believe me! Okay, grab your lemonade and let's start!
Backpack have your back!
Cool backpack, right? In Alaska Gold Fever you will have limited capacity of items you can hold with you so you need a good backpack! Here i can show you some process of making it!
Details are important! Here you can see this small details can help making this backpack to "behave" better, more realistic in the game, in motion.
Also don't forget to add some lashes/belts to your character! It gonna stick to the back, right? ;) I always wonder how some videogame characters stick their sword to their back. How do they do this? It's magnet or something? :D
First version of Alaska!
Just wanted to show you some real progress. Take a look at this very very early version of our game and compare it to the newest version. I believe this first version is like few years old already?

Our artists describe it something like this: " Polite woman from the village. Nobody knows what she do, but she always have money. Recently she buried her fourth husband :) " Have some bussiness with her? Better watch out ;)
Adventurer.. but a female one! Strong and beautiful! :) I like this look on her face. It's saying something like "come on, let's do it!" . Can't wait to show you a full 3D model but probably in the next devlog!

All mercenaries who took from 1 to 4 places in the leaderboard “Marathon“ of the PvP recorded by the UMC engineers on August 30, will get 500 xenocrystals and 1000 GS.
All mercenaries who took from 5 to 12 places in the leaderboard “Marathon“ of the PvP recorded by the UMC engineers on August 30, will get 500 xenocrystals.
All mercenaries who took from 13 to 25 places in the leaderboard “Marathon“ of the June PvP recorded by the UMC engineers on August 30, will get 300 xenocrystals.

UPDATE: Prague map / Story of Jozic tweaked: narration after building double switch disabled temporarily & a walls added next to Docks's sink to reduce confusion of not being able to connect to it
FIX: Blur effect did not go away after changing maps during story
FIX: Camera panning could result in unintended camera behaviour
FIX: Coach Yard and Tunnel were not visible after being built
FIX: Contract generation slowed down after many one-off trains dispatched
FIX: Custom level with a lot of schedules doesnt start because of duplicate generated contract numbers
FIX: Departue sensor had incorrect sprite and was unplaceable in tutorial
FIX: Editor timetable list width didnt update when maximized
FIX: New arrival train alert would show on last station if last station was the same as first station
FIX: Placing station signs near level border prevented building on bottom left of level

Now you can adjust the difficulty! There are 2 options: easy or normal. I've also made few changes regarding overall difficulty of the game as well The demo version is also updated as well. Have fun!
Myth of Empires will undergo an update and maintenance on Aug 9th from 06:00 to 08:00 UTC (2 hours). Make sure to log off before then to avoid any losses. Maintenance time may be extended as needed. Thank you for your understanding.
Optimization: 1. Optimized the teleportation rules on using beds. 2. Added permission setting on removing boundary markers in guild. Default access permission belongs to the guild leader.
Bugs fixed: 1. Fixed when you quit a guild, the ownership of the siege wagon could be wrong.
