While developing the game and conducting playtesting, we noticed that the workflow for starting a new game can be a bit tedious and sometimes the players didn't know what to do. 

With this feedback in mind, we developed and designed a new menu. In the new menu, all the relevant actions to start a game are on one screen. We also added little visual effects to breathe life into the new menu.

So in the future, you can spend the time you used to spend in the menus on actual gameplay.

We don't do this often, but we just wanted to bump up the sale of Attentat 1942 that is starting now to anybody who might be into history but was still waiting.

Since the release, a lot of things happened with Attentat 1942 so let me list at least some of them:
- we ported the whole game into the new engine and 4K!
- we were nominated for Apple Design Awards (with the mobile version) for Social Impact, yay
- the game came to Nintendo Switch, broadening the audience for stories we should never forget even more
- and we released the follow-up, Svoboda 1945: Liberation to great success


Well, we were a few years younger when we got the Czech Game of the Year award in 2018.
