Welcome to Patch Notes 1.0.4.99606. I’ll be your guide to this brief update and you’ll probably be seeing me around more often for these types of things.

First thing to know, we fixed an animation thing.

Second. We found the key and the Lancer should be unlocking properly now, so no more excuses.

Plus, the Intel menu is all in order now so you don’t have to worry about that either.

And finally, we fixed up a memory thing that was causing some crashes.

Now, I’ve got some more bugs to squash, but I’ll be seeing you all again soon.


FIXES
Patch deployment times may vary by platform. We have implemented the following changes.
Note: We have received reports that the Lancer Horde Slayer Skin fix may not be working for everyone, and we are monitoring and investigating this.

ANIMATION

• Fixed an issue with the reload animation on the Heirloom Standoff weapon.

CLASS KITS

• LANCER: The Lancer Horde Slayer Kit Skin should now properly unlock for players who complete Horde Mode on Extreme or higher difficulties, and unlock automatically for players who have previously completed Horde Mode on Extreme or higher difficulties.

INTEL

• Entries for each topic in the Intel menu should now be ordered according to the relative locations they are found in each Campaign.

GENERAL

• Fixed a memory related issue that sometimes resulted in a crash.

Thanks to your regular feedback and reporting from Shoal we have been able to implement some fixes sooner than anticipated. We’ll be supporting with an Orbital Drop in the near future that will bring large-scale changes to how you manage your supplies.

• Fixed bug where consuming units that cost supply wouldn’t calculate properly in project execution
  
• Units will now stay dimmed if they can’t move or attack
  
• If you have a unit selected and it can attack, hovering over any enemy units will always show attack tooltip
  
• Fixed issue where building a unit on a tile or moving to a tile where another unit had moved from makes unit unselectable

• Mining Facility and The Drill no longer return Global Resources when self-destructing

• Lots of Advanced Tutorial soft lock fixes!
  
• The arrow that shows before dialogue in the Advanced Tutorial is fixed

• Saves are listed in the same order in the main menu and in-game

Classic Car-Nage, a new adrenaline-fueled chaotic game mode for GRID™ Legends



The new story-based and cross-platform multiplayer DLC introduces a brand new action-filled Derby-style interaction where drivers compete by deliberately ramming their vehicles into one another, rewriting all existing racing rules. Players will bring out their wildest racing instincts with new eclectic vehicles and compete with friends across four new tracks, and further their experience with new themed Stories within the game.
The new game mode is a special series of racing events that reacquaints players with the heroes from the ‘Driven to Glory’ story mode and delivers a no holds barred experience that pushes the GRID rule book to its limit. The first episode focuses on Valentin Manzi, brought to life by award-winning British actor Ncuti Gatwa, as he and the rest of the field wreak havoc through eight Classic Car-Nage story events. Players also gain access to five new vehicles, including a fun-filled ice-cream truck, and four new routes across two real-world locations, the prestigious Yokahama Docks and the intense heat of Havana. Three new sponsored Career Events will also be available with this expansion.
“Classic Car-Nage brings the cathartic and fascinating destructive experience of demolition derby into the GRID Legends universe,” said Steven Brand, Associate Creative Director at Codemasters. “New routes with multiple crossovers and ramps ensure plenty of opportunities for pile-ups, and story mode objectives allow players to work on personal strategies to survive the events. I’m looking forward to joining folks online to cause some mayhem!”
Classic Car-Nage’s online multiplayer interaction invites players to cause even more mayhem on track by challenging their friends, who can play the pack’s content for free*.
