Extremely minor update, mainly controller related. Pressing left on the D-pad toggles the HUD, pressing right on the D-pad toggles the weapon. I also lowered the sound of the armour shattering, seeing as it has brought some to the point of refunding the game because of it haha.

The final track is out and ready for all! Still chasing down some minor issues with track 20, but hopefully we'll be able to get those resolved. For now, enjoy exploring the new track, and once you've beaten track 20, you'll have unlocked the Champion ship to use on all tracks!
From this update, there'll be no further substantial updates, though there may be some additional bugfixes if we can get to the bottom of the issues with track 20.

Field Bridges
Combat Engineers can now use Metal Beams to build Field Bridges. Field Bridges are used to allow infantry and logistics operations to cross difficult terrain. They can be built over water, destroyed bridges, small valleys, and other areas.
Field Bridges are provisional and must be replaced over time. Armoured and other heavy vehicles are unable to cross Field Bridges without them taking significant damage. The only exception are Armoured Car class vehicles, which can effectively cross bridges, giving them a unique role on the battlefield.
Modular Half-Tracks
The base Half-Track has been redesigned into a modular vehicle. It now has a universal mount that can be refitted with any Tripod weapon, transforming the Half-Track's role while on the field.
The new Half-Track rear has also been redesigned, giving it an additional role as an infantry carrier. It can now hold up to 4 passengers in the rear, in addition to the gunner and front seats on the vehicle.
New Tripod Weapons
To compliment the new Modular Half-Tracks, four new Tripod weapons are being introduced, including new machine guns, a mounted AT Rifle, and a dual barreled RPG.
Cinematic Camera
In Update 46 the Tactical Camera was introduced to Foxhole, giving players greater visibility on the battlefield. In this update, we're introducing the Cinematic Camera, which gives the players a cinematic view of the action, enabling them to create even better community content like screenshots and videos.
No Man's Land Improvements
In Foxhole, the landscape can be dynamically altered over time if it's been shelled by artillery for long enough. Some improvements were made to the visuals and gameplay for these areas. Most significantly, the Trench husks have been completely redesigned to provide cover and with higher visual fidelity.
O’Brien V.113 Gravekeeper
A slight variation of the V.110, the Gravekeeper comes fitted with an embedded Bonesaw launcher, transforming the humble armoured car into an effective indirect anti-armour vehicle.
T8 “Gemini”
Fitted with twin RPG launchers, the T8 employs hit-and-run assaults against enemy structures and emplacements.

A new Forza Horizon 5 hotfix is available to download with the fixes and improvements shared below. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience as we worked to address these and continue to work to address other reported issues.
Game Stability
On Dec. 7, we released a fix to tackle the “soft lock” issue which caused Xbox Series X|S players to get stuck with an infinite spinner when saving data. Today’s new hotfix goes further and addresses the root cause of the problem. Xbox Series X|S players may have occasionally encountered issues with streaming and soft locks when loading into events, which are now resolved.
We’ve also addressed other stability issues, including a top reported crash that was introduced with Series 2.
Convoys
A top priority for the team is working on a fix for Convoys and disappearing players. We are continuing to investigate your reports and have identified and addressed one issue that would cause some players to become invisible to other players. Further work is ongoing in this area to improve the experience.
Multiplayer
Improvements have been made to server bandwidth to ensure a better experience in multiplayer game modes like The Eliminator.
We’ve included a fix for civilian traffic not being present in Horizon Life. However, we know there is more work to do in this area. We have identified a further issue where players might see no civilian traffic after taking part in multiplayer events, and an issue where some players may see no traffic until changing car or fast travelling. These are being worked on and will be addressed in a future update.
We have enhanced the overall stability of our servers across the entire experience, and we have also identified and fixed an issue that sometimes prevented players from joining another player’s server when attempting to initiate a Convoy.
More To Come
With the holidays rapidly approaching, our team is looking forward to spending some time with family and friends and hope you are doing the same. For us, this means a short pause on our ongoing development and fixes, yet rest assured, in the new year we will continue to deliver further improvements to Forza Horizon 5.
For example, we're aware that a number of players have experienced challenges on the Festival Playlist which they've not been able to complete. This can be frustrating to miss out on rewards or to not have that 100% completion. We're looking into a solution for players who have experienced the issue.
Your feedback is invaluable to us so keep it coming, it helps us prioritize how we tackle fixes.
