Hello everyone! I have another update for you all. Hopefully, this will be the last (or one of the last) updates to the game. Some of these additions are rather important, as they were meant to be included in the initial launch.
The game's build will now be displayed on the "Warning" picture before the title screen.
When you open the controls screen in the menu, there's now directions for how to toggle fullscreen mode.
Nipsy has a couple more hints for certain parts of the game.
There was a little Easter egg that appears during the second half of the game that's been disabled since the game's launch- (internal screaming) It should appear now.
You can now jump on and off of the Hogbodies' vetting room table, instead of being stuck on the table until you move to the next room. This allows you to nab the sucker if you haven't already.
The Missing Piece now leaves crayon marks on the save point in the Hogbodies Realty third floor room.
We are working hard on our first Major Update since launching Early Access! So for this week, we have just a few key improvements and fixes to help address some of the more common issues being reported to us
Improvements: - Cody is now more helpful! Once he learns how to use a slingshot, he will shoot to help Anling break free from a zombie’s grapple on his own. - You no longer need to re-enter the “change location zone” while waiting for Cody to catch up. - You are now not forced to walk slowly to certain spots to gather materials. - Combat animations are more fluid and snappier. - General optimizations
Bug fixes: - Fixed an issue where synchronizing to the Steam Cloud will cause data to become invalid in some rare situations. - Fixed an issue where Cody's slingshot sometimes falsely hits the enemy's feet

When we first introduced the Amaze app to the VR world in early 2017, we could not expect the love and support we’d receive, ultimately leading us to hit #1 free app in the Oculus store by that September. Those early days were truly the Wild West—exploring what worked, and more importantly what did not work in VR—and we hustled to create amazing content with the limited resources we had. Your continued support gave us the drive to deliver the best content possible, and we released a diverse array of VR experiences weekly, providing a home for VR creators to reach our fervent audience.
In late 2019, we decided to fully focus on music, and specifically VR concerts. Music is a human experience that transcends culture and bonds people together—and combined with our VR tech creates an experience like none other. We’ve been building our foundation for VR concerts through refining our proprietary tech and growing an incredible team from the music, entertainment, tech, and gaming industries. And now we’re prepping for our first commercial launch of our VR concerts with the incomparable Megan Thee Stallion.
As we’re still a relatively small startup with limited resources, we need to focus our efforts on creating a groundbreaking VR concert experience for artists and their fans. And with this new direction, it is bittersweet to announce that we will be taking down the Amaze app across all VR stores today. The app will continue to be available for existing users, but it will not be available for download for new or previous users, nor will we be supporting any technical issues or adding any new content to the app.
Thank you so much for joining us these past few years on our journey to expand people’s experiences through VR—we would not be here today without you all. We’re thrilled for this next chapter of life at AmazeVR as we believe our VR concerts will be game-changing for artists and fans. We hope you continue to stay tuned as we build the future of music.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at connect@amazevr.com.
