Patch notes for today's small update:

-Based on feedback we have inverted the VR controllers' touchpad functions: Now the left controller will move Kippo the Seeker and right controller snap-rotates around the level.
-Rotating the level by grabbing & dragging is no longer inverted.
-Tweaks to Kippo's animations and model size.
-Added a subtle visual hint for the first VR winch in First Steps level.


A reminder: We also have gone live with the Steam Playtest feature, so the beta version will update there from now on. Until further notice we will continue to update the closed beta behind the Steam keys as well, but if you haven't already signed up for the Playtest, you can do so from the Store page.

The Corpsmen - MulticellVong
Just a small hotfix, mostly to reduce the difficulty slight at the upper end. A general overhaul and balancing of Monster AI and health will be coming soon in a future update.

- Further reduced health of Large, Elite, and Boss monsters
- Extra step in case you enter the Academy/Fugue with no monsters
- Potential bug fix for certain Cards getting the wrong Upgrades
- Saving the game after Upgrading a Card

  • Minions correctly attempt to escape after being imprisoned in a Cell.

Achievements

  • Achievements for firing later stages of a Doomsday Device are no longer unlocked during Test Firing.
Campaigns
  • During the "Bury the Hatchet" campaign Objective, Criminal Goons can no longer be captured and brainwashed.
  • The Board Meeting can be consistently completed in Maximilian's campaign Objective, "War on Krast".
  • The Criminal Network level requirement has been lowered in Red Ivan's campaign Objective, "Glorious Reclamation".
  • The aftermath Schemes from firing the M.I.D.A.S. device no longer occasionally suggest you have fired H.A.V.O.C.
  • The "Great Studies" Research cost is correctly displayed during Zalika's campaign Objective, "Brain Trust".
  • Emma's "Plotter" ability displays updated visual effects.
Side Stories
  • Crime Lords can be targeted using Henchman abilities.
  • The number of Super Agents assaulting the Lair has been reduced during the Side Story, "The Melting Point of Steele".
  • Additional Demolition Squaddies will assault the Lair if one or more of them are Brainwashed during the Side Story, "The Brave And the Bola".
  • Permanently defeated Super Agents are no longer resurrected to be defeated again during the Side story, "The Other Most Dangerous Game".
  • Incendio no longer gains a trait indicating he is a Super Agent during the Side Story, "Ace Up The Sleeve".
  • Schemes to Stop Poison Attempts will correctly be removed if cancelled during the Side Story, "Hail To The Chef".

Super Agents

  • Agent Steele's "Smash And Grab" Threats no longer spawn in multiples within a single Region.
  • Agent X's Hard Boiled Investigators are consistently attributed to the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Force of Justice.
  • Agent Steele now gives 20 Intel when successfully Interrogated.
Henchmen
  • Espectro no longer becomes trapped in place when interrogating captured characters on Traps.
  • Sir Daniel can recover his stats at a Conference Table even if his Camouflage ability is activated when sitting down.
  • Incendio's "Misdirection" ability correctly resets after sitting at a Conference Table.
  • Incendio's position marker is now accurate when seated at a Conference Table.
  • After recruiting Full Metal Jackie, her bonus Schemes no longer display overhead VFX.
Loot Items
  • The R.A.Y.G.U.N. Laser correctly fires repeatedly on lengthy Interrogations.
  • The "Taught By a Dodo" Trait is correctly applied after minions interact with the Dodo Educator Loot item.
  • The "Flying Pig" Trait is correctly applied after minions interact with the Flying Pig Loot item.

We Are The Caretakers - heartshapedgames
A new update, version 0.39 Early Access, is now live on Steam! This update primarily fixes a number of issues with the last mission in the Early Access Story Campaign (Era 3: Missile Defense) and related game mechanics.

Full Change List:
-Updated all ability, trait, effect, supply, and landmark tooltip descriptions for clarity/accuracy.
-Escape key now opens up the pause menu in the field.
-Fixed multiple issues with Bubble Barrier dispenser. They now always appear when revealed in the mid-mission cutscene in Era 3, and becomes visible in the fog of war immediately. They spawn Bubble Barriers more frequently.
-Bubble Barrier dispenser has changed visuals to clarify what supply it is dispensing.
-Bubble Barriers now deploy and break Raun being targeted by the towers properly.
-Fixed issue with Bubble Barriers not stopping attacks from missile silos that are in a cooldown state from a prior attack.
-Fixed user control being locked after mid-mission cutscene.
-Raun that are hit by missile silos no longer keep moving and cannot be re-targeted.
-When a missile silo is deactivated, any Raun that were being targeted are freed and return to wandering.
-Fixed visual and sequencing bugs with the arrival of the final boss.
-Refactored some code in Era 3 missions to run faster and avoid memory leaks.
-Adjusted some special/rare character class recruit names/stats.
-Added checks for names shorter than 5 characters in UI length checks to prevent errors.

There is still some balance and visual polish changes we'll be making to the missile defense mission and other missions in Era 3, but we feel more confident in the playability/stability of all campaign missions now.

IronWolf VR - Aaron
This update includes a new straight running torpedo launch station on both the port and starboard side of the destroyer bridge. Use these slow moving but very powerful torpedoes to quickly dispatch of an enemy ship after you've managed to immobilize them by taking out their engines or powerplant with your main guns.



This update also includes a new submarine light control station in the main control room. You can now easily switch between the red and white lighting modes at your choosing or revert to automatic lighting control.

Greetings brethren! After yet another session of studying the ancient scrolls, we bring you a brand new update for Secret Government. This time we bring you an update for the tutorial, to better explain the inner workings of our brotherhood to our new acolytes. This update also includes numerous bugfixes, improvements and localization fixes.
