Fixed balance in colors/lighting on characters, so it looks correct everywhere (very close at least), except Pong, which is experimental.

THE IMPOSSIBLE will be updated soon. There will be a free DLC that will surprise many players.. There will be also new voice overs (Chinese and Russian :D, PATCH installed new dictionaries). The update is going to be big and I have some work to do, so I think it will be divided into 1-2 parts.

It is Impossible that the Steam trading cards will be available soon, if sales don't change. In my free time, I will check the reviews and answer them. Thank you for your support, reviews, bugs report.

Hi everyone, here’s a short update on the beta.
It’s been great to see how people are enjoying CtA: Gates of Hell so far.
We have been working hard to process all the feedback we have received in the past weeks; time to implement a couple of changes.

Update for the open beta
We’ve worked our rear ends off to sift through all of the reports and clean out some bugs, and now it’s time for you to see the results. This is the changelog for the update that is about to be pushed:
  • Added back the 1st soviet campaign mission.
  • Added mining section at the end of training 2.
  • Added realistic burst mechanics for weapons (shot amount, delays, zeroing,..). Now weapons adhere to documented practical rates of fire.
  • Added many new FX, from diesel exhausts to massive HE impacts on objects.
  • Added new animations.
  • Added new cursors.
  • Added sandbag fortifications to vehicles.
  • Improved gun ranges, accuracies and penetration curves, making farshooting unfeasible.+
  • Improved training 1.
  • Improved third person views.
  • Improved numerous existing animations.
  • Improved numerous sounds.
  • Improved shellholes (visual improvements and realistic sizes).
  • Improved LODing.
  • Improved interface.
  • Improved support tanks and standardised them with a direct-fire game logic.
  • Increased damage taken on soldiers, particularly soldier’s arms.
  • Increased MG effectiveness at long range.
  • Increased AT grenades damage, able to break hull of medium and heavy tanks in one grenade, if the explosive charge is strong enough to breach the armor.
  • Decreased MG accuracy for humans when standing and kneeling.
  • Decreased regen rate of supply trucks.
  • Decreased flame particle gravity. Lower/flatter trajectory for flamethrower weapons.
  • Decreased ammo carried in nebelwerfers from 60 to 30 (more inline with bm13_studebaker).
  • Decreased slightly human run speeds to make them slower than the mechanised counterparts.
  • Decreased heat required to set wood buildings on fire.
  • Decreased durability for tankette tanks with just MG's (t27, panzer1, etc).
  • Fixed crash on save game.
  • Fixed crash when currentSelection is gone when a button command comes.
  • Fixed crash if closing a game while in TPC.
  • Fixed that now grenade trajectory is not locked as the grenade is being thrown.
  • Fixed that reload and bolting animations no longer stop/delay: move, change stance or any other orders given by player.
  • Fixed numerous issues of 3d models, and their game logic.
  • Fixed some vehicle glitches / suspension / X models / armour
  • Fixed numerous quality of life issues.
  • Fixed numerous localization entries.
  • Fixed some scripts in missions.
  • Fixed some performance issues.
Depending on your personal settings, your beta game will update automatically, no action from your side is required if you’re already in the open beta.

Phase 2
So now you know a part of what we’ve been up to. Of course, we are also preparing open beta phase 2. As we said, there will be some news pretty soon, so be sure to catch the news the minute phase 2 is ready. We are excited to inform you that the 2021 For Honor Dominion Series, our official competitive program where players compete in the 4v4 game-mode Dominion, begins on May 1st, with a total prize pool of $65,000!

The format for 2021 will be different from the previous year. All information such as how to sign up, official rules, prize breakdowns, and more will be on the battlefy website, which will be up and ready for you starting April 16th.

The Dominion Series 2021 will feature a circuit that will run throughout the entire year, starting from Year 5 Season 1 to Year 5 Season 4. Each season will be considered a “Stage”, with a total of 4 stages in the program.



The Dominion Series is currently online-only and region-locked, for NA and EU players who are at least 18 years of age. Registration will open on April 16th.

The first 3 Stages are made up of 4 Qualifiers tournaments and 1 Major tournament each. For every event, players can win points by placing high enough. At the end of this year, top teams in each region will be invited to the Finals in Stage 4, or Y5S4.

QUALIFIERS

These are online tournaments that are open to everyone (unlimited teams). Each season in Year 5 will have 4 qualifiers, excluding Y5S4. The format will be double elimination brackets, with each match a Best-of-3. In each Qualifier, the top 4 teams will receive points based on placement, and in addition, the first-place team will be invited to the closed Major.

If you win a Qualifier tournament, you will not be able to participate in the remaining Qualifier tournaments within that season.



MAJORS

A Major is a 1-day online broadcasted tournament, held in both North America and Europe separately. It brings together the 4 winning teams from Qualifiers, who will compete in a double-elimination format. Competing teams will receive points and a cash prize based on their placements

LAST CHANCE QUALIFIERS

The LCQ is a 1-day online tournament that will be held in Stage 4. Also in a double-elimination format, the winning team will advance to the Finals.

FINALS

The Finals are a 1-day online, broadcasted event held in Stage 4. The 4 teams will play for a cash prize in a double elimination, Best-of-3 format with the Grand Finals being a Best-of-5. The winner will be crowned the For Honor Dominion Series 2021 Champions in their respective regions.

Thanks to your feedback from our previous Dominion Series, we have also added updates and changes to our rulebook. Make sure you read through all of them to know what’s expected of you during tournament day!
