Yesterday, CD Projekt Red had a big emergency call with investors discussing the state of Cyberpunk 2077, and what it means for its DLC and multiplayer plans. It’s no secret that the game’s launch came with a helluva lot of bugs, I’ve experienced a ton myself on PC – but for players on last-gen consoles, Cyberpunk is in an even sorrier state. CDPR say their focus is now on improving the base game, but there are concerns the amount of work involved could impact new content planned for the next couple of years.
Season one of Call of Duty Cold War is integrating the game with Warzone Battle Royale, meaning you’ll now be able to cross-progress thanks to all the sweet guns available in both modes. That means weapons will be usable in both games too, so you’ll want to unlock the new gear as quickly as possible. Unlike approximately every single one of my friends, I did not spend this weekend playing Cyberpunk 2077, but I was still exposed to all its many amusing bugs, glitches, and silly weapons. I’ve seen V’s penis clipping through his trousers, characters with disappearing penises, and a sex toy (shaped like a penis) used as a melee weapon. They’re all quite funny, including the ones that don’t involve penises, but as someone who has not yet played this game I can confidently say that the bugs are best experienced with the vocal and instrumental improv accompaniment of a fella called Blindboy.
Call Of Duty is kicking off season one for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on Wednesday, which means you’ll also have a new battle pass of rewards to rip into. It’s 100 tiers of guns and other goodies starting off with that new operator Stitch. Activision have revealed a bunch of the in-game items you’ll earn in season one with a new trailer.
