Turn-based gang warfare game Necromunda: Underhive Wars launched its grimy take on Warhammer 40,000 earlier this week. You’d expect to need some grit in a strategy game set in a polluted, gun-totin’ dystopia but players seem to be fighting the game itself about as much as rival gangs. The makers say they’ve been watching player feedback and have set out a plan to fix crashes, corrupted saves, and other technical issues.

PAX Online and EGX Digital have teamed up this month to bring you PAX X EGX, a joint show we here at RPS have been affectionately referring to as “Pax Eggs”. Starting Saturday, you’ll be able to feast your eyes on nine days of round-the-clock streams – from live Let’s Plays and competitive tournaments, to developer panels and podcasts. We’ll be there doing some fun stuff, as will our corporate siblings from sites like Dicebreaker. Oh also, all of the panels are free, and it’ll have demos too. So yeah, come hang out!

If you like games with very big numbers and characters that talk about sardines a lot, you might be pleased to hear that Disgaea 4 Complete+ is out now on PC. Back in July, Nippon Ichi Software announced they’d bring the 2011 PlayStation exclusive to Steam and Xbox Game Pass this autumn, and last night they just kind of released it out of the blue.

Each hive foxer has a theme (some previous ones: sheep, mazes, earthquakes, and The 39 Steps). Identifying the theme is a vital part of the defoxing process.
