We present to you “Denmark”, a new location for aircraft battles in War Thunder. it will be added to the rotation of maps for aircraft battles with the release of update “´1.97 “Viking Fury”!
The Scandinavian theme continues not only with the new vehicles but also with the locations in the “Viking Fury” upcoming 1.97 update. Not so very long ago we showed you a location for mixed battles; “Sweden”, today we would like to present a new map for aviation - “Denmark”. The location is based on the surroundings of the Kattegat Strait and the cities of Aarhus, Odense and Kalundborg.
The CV 90105 TML is an experimental light tank, developed in the mid 1990s as part of a joint venture between the Swedish Hägglunds and French GIAT companies. Arriving as part of the Swedish ground forces tree with War Thunder update 1.97 ‘Viking Fury’, tankers can look forward to commanding this unique piece of Swedish ground tech!
In War Thunder, the CV 90105 TML will be the top ranking premium vehicle, available at rank VI of the upcoming Swedish ground forces tree with the release of update 1.97 ‘Viking Fury’. Compared to the standard version of the Strf 90, this experimental version of the vehicle features a different turret, housing a bigger caliber cannon as well as offering the usual premium reward bonuses, thus speeding up progress towards acquiring the top tier Swedish ground tech!
Contrasted with the standard Strf 90, also available to tankers in the regular tree under the name ‘Strf 90C’, the CV 90105 is a further development of the vehicle, featuring an upgraded version of the GIAT TML turret. The new turret also houses the vehicle’s second most notable upgrade - the larger 105mm G2 cannon with stabilizer.
The Devs of MINImax Tinyverse decided to share their builds! This week, Dev_Moonlight shares his "Nia's Gang Build"
This strategy aims at dealing as much damage as possible with the first big swarm.
The key is to make the most of Nia's active and passive skills as well as Pain Soup, Stimulant and the synergy from the Sharkkus Pathfinder.
Champion
Bullseye (Passive Skill): Enemies hit by Nia will receive 75 extra damage for 5 seconds (and it stacks!)
Get out of my way! (Active Skill): Enemie shit receive 30% more damage during 6 seconds
Don't come closer! (Passive Skill): Make sure to keep an eye on the icon for this skill as it will fill up once it can be used. In a situation where the skill is not available, you will be able to rely on Pick Up only to get out of tricky situation. And if you're not able to use Pick Up then, you're toast.
In the situation where a massive group attack is going on, make sure to make good use of your active skill so that your ally troopers can benefit from the 30% extra damage.
Miracles
Freeze: I mostly use this when an enemy champion has been picked up and thrown towards my side of the map. If you have enough mana, I would recommend to use it continuously with Pain Soup and Stimulant. If the enemy champion attacks from a long range, use it on them.
Pain Soup: Increases the damage taken by 65% for 5 seconds. Combined with Nia's active skill this can be a huge game changer.
Stimulant: Increases speed by 50% during 6 seconds. This is great miracle to create intense strikes.
Cleansing: If you're about togo in with a heavy swarm but your opponent uses Freeze or Mass Disguise and thus comes in the way of your plan, you can respond by using Cleansing
Static Shock: This miracle is the best to deal with enemy Scouters or or Gliptos Chasers.
Vaccuum: This miracle is effective at getting enemy Scouters/Gliptos Chasers together, but can also help if you intend on using Nia's active skill, Freeze or Pain Soup on as many units as possible
Healing Powder: Even if you're winning at the front, if your units are in a critical state, you might not be able to push much more forward. In the case that you do not have a healer in your team, then this miracle is the next best thing.
Troopers
Rapanossan Warrior: Creaea's #1 trooper! The key is in placing them at the feet of the enemy tower, so that they can help in the first big swarm. But do not send more than one unit at a time. You should save your rations for other troopers too.
Sharkkus Hunter: Use this trooper after the enemy champion has just been picked up so that they have tno way to escape. Since it sends several units at once, it will be effective in regular attacks as well.
Gliptos Chaser / Rapanossam Assassin / Sharkkus Assassin: These troopers are good for instant/fast attacks. I recommend not to send the same type of trooper, but to mix them together. If you pick only Chasers for example, they can be taken down with one miracle, so choose wisely. However, at night try and send more Assassins.
Sharkkus Pathfinder: Pick this trooper last so that it gives other units a nice boost to deal more damage. If possible, try and place it so that it buffs your tower as well.
Tips and things to look out for.
Try to make it so that you can combine the attacks of Nia and your troopers, the boost of the Pathfinders and a miracle at the same time.
If you are winning but still in a bad position when it comes to the health of your champion, do not hesitate to make them rest, their health will go back up!
Please note that the Pathfinder buff cannot be removed with Cleansing.

After the Alpha test last September we decided to add a new Break Mechanic into the game. Now you can see a small shield icon above each enemy with a certain number. We call them Shield Points, and players can break these points down to zero by attacking and casting different spells. This new game mechanic will encourage the players to engage more in closed combat. In the previous Alpha test, we noticed that the ranged combat turned out to be pretty overpowered and more preferred compared to the closed one. This means that now players will be able to benefit more from approaching the enemies with closed combat weapons. So let's talk about how it actually works.
Break Mechanic
As you probably noticed, each enemy now has a shield icon with a certain number of points. Stronger enemies usually have more Shield Points. Like Fire Jeter, for example, has 5 Shield Points:
Basically hitting with a normal attack will reduce 1 Shield Point from any enemy. But here is when things get more interesting. A player can reduce another 1 extra Shield Point in two cases: 1. A player is standing right next to the enemy and successfully lands an attack/spell (in one of the surrounding tiles around the enemy); 2. An enemy is in state of charging an attack or casting a spell and gets hit by a player during this particular turn.
If you hit both of the conditions above at the same time, then you can reduce 2 additional Shield Points and get 3 points in total. That's actually a lot!
Also, don't forget! Some certain weapons have a skill buff for combo attacks. Which also gives you a chance to reduce an extra shield point in one turn.
Combo Mechanic
So why all this hustle with Shield Points? The thing is, once you break enemy Shield Points to 0, the enemy will get stunned for several turns and you get a juicy damage buff for the following 5 turns. And that's when the Combo Meter kicks in.
You will have exactly 5 turns before the Level 1 Combo Meter and damage buff disappear entirely. But you can continue the combo chain by breaking another enemy shield and increase the Combo Meter to Level 2. By doing this, you will be able to get an even bigger damage buff. And on top of that, you will get additional Blinks recovery in the same room.
The Break and Combo Mechanics really matter because it redefines your combat strategy in a very different way. It encourages players to use more skills and close combat attacks to break the Shield Points as quickly as possible. It will definitely make you think twice before doing your next turn!
These are basically new core gameplay mechanics, and combined with other aspects of the game it offers a totally unique battle experience. So according to this, we also made a couple of adjustments on MP and Blink usage.
Changes in MP (Mana Points) Recovery
We made MP in Crown Trick somewhat unique compared to traditional RPG games. Rather than saving MP for later during your typical dungeon crawl, we encourage players to use it as much as possible in the early game. The MP system now is not merely about spending and recovering, but more about the strategical use of skills.
1. Now your MP is fully refilled every time you enter a new room. 2. During a boss battle, you can recover some of the MP when you reduce the boss's HP to a certain level. 3. MP cost for skills is now much higher than before.
Blink Adjustments
In previous versions of Crown Trick, Blink ability required some MP and you could only teleport in one of the four directions that the main character was facing. But now:
You can blink to any spot of an area around the character;
Blink doesn't count as a turn itself anymore, which means you can blink right next to the enemy and attack right after the blink in the same turn;
You can see a new bar directly beneath the character with 3 standard and 4 additional slots. This shows how many blinks you still have.
You will have a basic of 3 blinks each time you enter a new room. And every time you perform a combo chain, you can get 1 extra blink (the maximum amount is 7).
This way the blinking ability will now become a very precious trick in your pocket that will help you significantly if used properly.
That's it for today. We hope we didn't overwhelm you guys with so many balancing changes in the game. Let us know your thoughts about all of this in the comments below!ːsteamhappyː
