Spent almost yesterday and today to work on mouse support and QoL update such as:
Added a hot bar for quick selecting tools, items.
Added an option to lock player direction after using (Hoe, Watering Can, Seeds). This will help a lot, I think.
Changed default key layout to work with mouse control.
Added Mouse support! You can press Left mouse button to use tools, Right mouse button to interact with objects.
Mouse support is still heavily a work in progress and need a lot of testing. It doesn't work in character creation, name selection scene. I will try to improve this in the future updates. Thanks for reading and hope you guys have an awesome day!
It's finally ready (actually it was ready ages ago but sadly ol' Uncle Billy was unaware of the new rules behind how Soundtracks are now released) the OST and Artbook are out and ready for purchase. Go ahead and check 'em out here:
Don't be fooled by the title. The Official Artbook is there too and I assure you, you'll wanna take a look at that one!
I went ahead and put on a lil' 25% launch discount on that so that those of you who wanted it on the release date can have it at a special price. Just a way ol' Uncle Ricky likes to say "Thank You" for those of you who support him!
Now, for those of you who don't even have the game yet, also have a special lil' discount. If you get the Gold Edition it also comes at a discounted price! So if you missed out on the release discount you can still get a mighty fine discount here, check it out:
Also, something else special happened today. We launched another game! Yup, ol' Uncle Ricky has been busy over the holidays making sure y'all have plenty of games to play. It's an epic Viking Saga called "King of Vikings". Check it out here:
Hello everybody! In several previous updates, because of wrong data input, we made the balance of the game become so much broken! In this version, we have a bit change to make the game more challenging! Here is the detail: - Allysse was too much overpower without any risk. So we decrease her base stats. Especially her magic ball now has a shorter fly range. - Lynn had high attack speed and high speed-factor when upgrade, so we decrease a bit her base stats and upgrade-factor. It means you will need more soul to make her stronger. Her thunder arrow's attack range is also decreased. - In previous versions, enemies dropped too many souls. So you were able to upgrade your character freely to become overpowering. Now they have dropped exactly as we want. Therefore you may need a bit consideration in selecting which character's stats to upgrade! - Some of Nel base stats were very high at the start, so you didn't need to consider most of her stats except HP, so now she will starting with 2 Stamina and 4 SP. - Shield (Will of Adam) skill is very useful but requires a low cost. So it requires a higher cost now (3 -> 4 SP) - The damage of attack skills depended on character damage, so it very useless right now. So, in the next update, we will add a damage factor for skill.
Because there is no way to revert data of users who have ever played the game, so for a better experience, you need to start over again or the game will less challenge - that is completely your choice! In next several versions, we will also update the Chest to made it more rewarded when exploring!
Bug fixes - Fixed sentries being unable to shoot drones. - Fixed the storage box's 'amount of stored items' variable. - Fixed the knife thrower's audio. - Fixed hostile robots not immediately moving towards the player when a save is loaded. - Fixed being able to open the inventory when dead.
A new spooky Clan has been added called the Bonehaunted. They are somewhat of a challenge Clan as their brittle bones can typically only get hit twice per stage before it's game over and health pickups won't help, but they regenerate at stage end, carry a whopping flaming sword and have the curious ability to Warp Bomb (creates an explosion where you teleport to). The new Clan has to be unlocked within the Restless Adventure game mode (hint: he's hiding where you might expect a haunted bonepile to be buried).
A new region has also been added called the Sanguine Mechanius. There's a chance of it appearing once you've won a Restless Adventure and it appears quite late on so is a bit of a toughy to deal with until you learn how the various traps operate but stay clear of the bloody blood golems!
In the Cabins Reminiscel game mode two new areas have been added to the Hub and two new characters to meet there. In the normal game modes in between stages you get a gift from your clan, but that's not the case in the Cabin mode any more. Instead you can order supply drops from the Guilder Trader once you've unlocked him, and you can also buy clan relics from him. In the Crypt if you help the poor spook find his lost babies each spirit found will increase your starting health by +1.
And various other niceties... enjoy! :]
// New Stuff - 10 new achievements related to the Bonehaunted clan, the Cabins Reminiscel and Soul Survivor game modes. - Added a new sub-stage called Echoes Solemnity, where you have the option of teleporting to one of a selection of special rooms (Humongous Head, Manky Hole, etc). - 4 new hats (Scary Screamer, Anointed Flame, Hockey Jason, Potato Face). - 2 new skin garment/flesh colours (Cursed Purple, Restless Pink). - 2 new Clashful Cards fighter cards (Imp, Blood Golem). - Frostal Fields: Added a new enemy, a bigger version of the Hailstone Whirl. - Blaspheme Librarium: Added a new enemy, a small imp that's a bit of cannon fodder but can alert Liches of your presence. Liches also have a chance of spawning a horde of them when they first see you. - Guilder's Emporium: Added an extra friendly shopkeeper who will buy your unwanted items and bombs. - Fairy Fountain: Added unique responses for the following item bestowals: Soiled Diaper, Handy Mirror, Cracked Jewel, Gift Surprise, or any of the clan orbital items. - Perditions Path: Added a secret Boned Hole.
// New Items - Added a new pickup called a Pure Heart. It nullifies the next hit you suffer and gives extra invincibility frames. - Purity Pendant: Heart pickups become pure hearts. - Wraithen Talon: Creatures you slay become orbital spectral protectors that hurt enemies. - Jewelry Box: Contains a random trinket which worth is added to your score, or there's a small chance it may contain a jewel related item. - Teleport Beamer: Can be used to accurately teleport anywhere onscreen.
// Other Bits & Bobs - Aiming has been tweaked for the melee clans. Holding the attack button will retain the same aim direction (just like the ranged attack clans), however, if you let go of the attack button then it will update your aim direction (even when mid-swing, though the swing itself will be the same). - Co-op: The twin moving offscreen no longer auto-teleports him, instead an arrow shows indicating his position. A player getting hurt no longer plays the hurt animation for both players and won't auto-telport the twin. - Blood Moon Trials: You can now use the Skip Scene button when dying to quick-restart the trial. - Blood Moon Trial - Slimes Obstacles Trial: Tweaked the design so it's less confusing that you need to screenwarp. - Blood Moon Trial - Amaurosis Realm Trial: The b&w now has a pinky overlay so the screen effect no longer melts your eyeballs. - Cabins Reminiscel: Buying hearts/bombs should work correctly now (previously the different clan effects was mucking this up). - The Rocketeer: You can now also just hold the Jump button to use it when equipped. Once it's ran out of juice you drop it and it begins to explode. - Diaper: There's a 10% chance it may nullify an enemy attack, in which case the diaper is "used" (oh no). - Binocularscope: You are no longer immortal whilst using them. - Crates: If you have at least 33 bombs then there's a chance a crate containing bombs will instead be booby trapped with live bombs (the more bombs you have the higher the chance). - Explosions: Their base damage has been reduced a bit. If the player is close to the center of the explosion then the damage suffered is doubled. - Boo Boner: Their flaming skull attacks no longer destroy your own attacks, but their attack pattern has changed making them a bit more dangerous. - Level Generation: Special rooms now close off broken paths leading into them (e.g. a Vault Chest room will fully close all paths leading into them).
Another day, another hotfix! This is build 1.1.2560.
Side note: There were some recent major changes in a few key mods, so there are still some mods with compatibility problems with each other. More info on this in the last hotfix update and a writeup from the author of the Harmony mod. Let's give them a few days to get things settled!
This hotfix is small. Its primary purpose is to fix a bug that would cause mechanoid clusters to never be defeated if you saved and reloaded the game after the associated quest arrived but before accepting it. I just wanted to get this out quickly since while this bug is rare, it is quite annoying when it occurs.
If this bug affected your savegame, you can defeat any existing broken mech clusters like so:
Turn on development mode in the options menu
Look in the quests menu at the quest that won't end
Turn on the checkbox "Dev: Debug" under the quest description.
Scroll down.
To the right of the 'send signal' box, click the '...' button. Select the entry similar to Quest0.cluster.AllEnemiesDefeated.
Turn off development mode in the options menu.
Change list:
- Fixed a bug that would cause mechanoid clusters to never be defeated if you saved and reloaded the game after the associated quest arrived but before accepting it. - Languages update - Updated Readme.txt with information about needing quotes around the -savedatafolder command when the path has spaces. - Fixed a bug that would cause trade request quests imported from 1.0 saves to give no rewards. - Fixed a bug that would cause no psyamp reward after quests if the recieved was not spawned. - Fixed a bug that would cause random joining animals to have names despite having no bond. - Fixed a bug that would cause a harmless error message on slaughtering a cobra
We will be fixing some more lingering issues over the coming week. Thanks for the great bug reports.
It's time for a new update to TILTit. This time around I'm happy to introduce Steam statistics accompanied with a level system that award you with experience points and ranks depending on how well you are doing in game.
On top of this, I've added a few more collectible achievements and a few smaller bug fixes.
The main menu has also been slightly reworked with explanatory text accompanying the different game modes.
I hope you all will enjoy the additions and changes.
Next update 1.04 will fix other gameplay bugs and support Xbox controllers. Due to the work on the new 3D project and the end of long-term support of this title, the price is permanently lowered. Enjoy.
Since the last update, I have played games a lot. I start to see some patterns. I think I must re-design the game system. This time it will involve modifying the code at the engine level. If this experiment succeeds, I will able to implement something amazing like what I see from the other games I play. Especially the networking part, it's another paradigm shift. I can't wait to try this so I delay the next update. This maybe fail or succeed, I wish the latter.
In the meantime, don't forget that "The Weapon Smugglers" have more than 40 weapons. It should take a lot of time until you catch them all.
The Takeover
I was writing service-level codes and shared it with my friend. His name is "MeangSun". He is the developer of the game called "Loop Craft". After we work for some time, I found that the hardest part is when to teach him how to use my code. So I offer him that I will take over all the programming things and he has to do all the designing things. The deal is simply "I get half of what he gets". (He happily acceptedːlunar2019grinningpigː) This means his game will use every technology Villages™ uses. I suggest that he must also re-design his game from the ground up. It could take at least 5 months. If you are following his game, don't worry about your items. I will carefully transfer them to the new database if needed(and maybe set a X2 event).
