AION’s celebrating its 8th free-to-play anniversary, and we’ve put together some very special hero trials where you again have the chance to grab some awesome items. These include: the [Rune] Selection Box of Ancient Transformation Contracts (18 types), the [Rune] Daevanion Essence and Stigma Enchantment Stones!
Driven from his manor by the Daevas, Beninerk seeks revenge. This pesky miscreant has now allied with the mighty Phantonicht, and Phantonicht’s minions – Brooding Fungie, Snotty Fungie and Spirited Fungen – are stoking chaos across Atreia. The Daevas can’t allow this to happen!
The Hero Trials
Hunt down Phantonicht’s minions and put a stop to their madness:
On Mondays and Tuesdays you’ll find Brooding Fungie and Spirited Fungen in Lakrum.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays you’ll find Brooding Fungie and Snotty Fungie in Inggison and Gelkmaros.
On Fridays and Sundays Brooding Fungie and Snotty Fungie will appear in Heiron and Beluslan. Meanwhile, Snotty Fungie and Spirited Fungen will be haunting Dumaha.
Roughly every 2 hours on Thursdays and Sundays, Phantonicht will appear personally in Poeta and Ishalgen – the perfect opportunity to teach him a lesson!
Each quest will reward you with a valuable prize on completion.
Rewards
If you complete a certain number of hero trials, you can look forward to additional rewards. There are three levels:
I've got a small patch to fix a number of bugs. I've improved UI a bit and added more settings to the game, as well. It was a rough launch, but your bug reports and feedback are very helpful, thanks a lot!
Features:
added fuel amount indicators to stages;
added three more connection variants for "Heavy" Fuel Tank;
new options category "Performance", where you can change:
- planets surface level of detail;
- planets collision mesh resolution;
- camera collision mesh resolution;
- maximum number of parallel physics worlds (every active spacecraft uses one world).
added sensitivity settings for assembly, map and flight cameras (Options -> Game);
two new auto stabilization modes: radial in and radial out;
new "reset rocket position" button in Assembly shop. It will reset Y and Z axis of spacecraft, retaining value of X axis.
* because of many crashes during rocket launch, planets surface LOD was set to "medium" by default. But if you had no problems with it earlier, you can switch it back to "high".
Changes:
Assembly Shop was increased in size;
settings are saved not only on quiting the game, but when closing options menu too;
changed how all cameras process the input in the game;
part category filters work like a toggles in assembly shop now;
camera will no longer change position when rocket part was detached.
Fixes:
memory leak on planet generation on some PC configurations, which lead to crash in some cases;
spacecraft spawned in the middle of nowhere in some cases;
spacecraft stuck on launchpad and persist during next launches (I don't think I found all possible scenarios tho);
navball is not updating on the map view;
time scale changes unpredictably on switching between physics and mathematics simulation;
solar panels retract, when switching to map view;
rocket stuck in assembly shop, when returning to the list of rockets and reset changes for the edited one;
auto stabilization turn off when switching from another mode;
rocket parts doesn't position correctly in Assembly shop, when the camera is close to the rocket;
"pass resources" doesn't work for decouplers in some cases;
save button doesn't appear, when the changes was made to rocket stages;
rocket stages doesn't reset when reset rocket was pressed;
spelling errors in the tutorial;
some strings are not localized;
one of the engine sounds doesn't loop properly;
wrong tooltip on spacecraft stats button;
changes to game controls is not saved between the sessions.
Known critical issues:
game sometimes stuck when rocket exits atmoshpere on some PCs. Still investigating, need more logs to find a problem.
The new update comes with a new casting tournament for all venues. You You have 10 attempts to hit a predetermined target. The lower the distance of the impact to the target, the better. The world's 10 best players worldwide are stored online.
Convoys! We have given you more control over them and how they operate. Now players can set waypoints to avoid ports and areas of the Pacific that the enemy have made hazardous!
In order to play this game go into your library, right click on the name Victory At Sea Pacific and click Properties. under BETAS, select “First Look” there is no password required.
Please keep sending us your feedback as we will be tweaking and fixing beyond the bugs. We try to monitor all your conversations and suggestions but if you think that we are not addressing a feature please post on the community forum either in General Discussions or Bug Reports and let us know what specifically is causing you issues.
We sometimes miss specific things in long conversations and don’t tend to read comments on the announcements (as it’s hard to directly reply to people on there) so it’s good to have it’s own thread, we would rather have more than one thread on a subject than not have one at all.
Gameplay:
Linkable convoy waypoints may be created. Convoys will use these to plot their routes.
Adjusted bomber accuracy in combat mode.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed some bomb damage calculations.
Fixed a bug that could prevent aircraft entering their landing sequence on airfields.
Stopped large fleets shifting position when entering combat mode.
The Akatsuki-class destroyer has 5-inch guns.
Corrected the displacements of the Victory and Duguay-Trouin class ships.
Modding:
Fixed ships of enemy factions of the opposing side being buildable by player when modding a faction not to start at war.

Increased Enchantment Chance
As soon as you have enchanted all Stigmas to level 12 (excluding Vision Stigmas), you’ll unlock an additional Stigma slot. During this event, the percentage chance to successfully enchant Stigmas has been increased! Additionally a range of Stigma items, such as the +8 Stigma Selection Box, are available in the AION Shop.

The Enchantment Quest
Search for Neyne, the Stigma master. Deliver Stigma Enchantment Stones to her, and she’ll grant you an enchanted Stigma. For 12 Stigma Enchantment Stones you can get the +8 Stigma Selection Box from Neyne!
The quest can be completed up to 3x per character (for players level 76 or above).
Make use of the archaic might of the enchanted Stigmas, learn new skills and become stronger than ever before!
I've been trying to fix the Menu missing icon/text problem since the game is released on Steam...but I'm terribly sorry to say that there's still no proper solution. The best way to solve this problem is, for now, as a player posted in the discussion (thank you so much!), to run the game in Vista Compatibility Mode.
If the icons or text in the menu disappear during your gameplay,
please find your local game folder, right click on "game.exe", and choose Properties >> Vista compatibility mode.
It's just sad and frustrated that the problem is still not fully solved. I'm very grateful for your patience and understanding T-T I'm really sorry about that.
In the new v1.2 version:
The game's UI is changed to a simpler one,

Therefore a trouble shooting message is added at the beginning of the Steam version (when click New Game), to tell the players about the Vista Compatibility Mode.
...and a 2nd-run easy achievement is added.
Fixed a few typos and bugs (including adjusting Ryan's boss fight), and added a few new random title screens.
Your savedata (including the demo's) are still playable in this version.
You may need to set the compatibility mode again for the future updates (because the game.exe would be updated).

I cannot thank you enough for your support and understanding.
There are issues with saving on some machines. Antiviruses, windows defender and other anti-malware/spyware software prevent the save data from being recorded. We will change our saving system in the future to avoid this bug. Right now, it is a little bit dangerous as we can wipe out the saves of the majority of people for whom the current saving system is working fine in the process of updating it. We've hired an editor to fix the problems with our grammar. Sorry about that! Turns our English isn't as good as we thought.
Just to clarify: we're a small studio with no one working full time on the game. It's not an excuse. We're determined to fix all the issues soon.

The M4/FL10 is a hybrid that combines the hull of the American M4 Sherman and the turret of the French AMX 13. It features a good amount of HP, decent mobility, and a quick-turning turret. With Season 7 coming to an end, we can’t wait to share some exciting news with you today- Ring of Elysium’s new map, Vera, will be released at the launch of Season 8!
In addition to the highly-anticipated new map, there are also plenty of other content and improvements to look forward to, including a new 4V4 gamemode, a new traversal equipment, new vehicles, a lighting update, and many other new attempts. We hope these new attempts, combined with the new map, will really give the game a “facelift” and help us kick off 2020 with a bang.
About the new map - Vera
Vera is located on the east side of the Andes Mountains. Originally, mineral resources were the mainstay of the economy, attracting a large number of outsiders to make a living there. Later, due to the reduction of resources, the economy began to decline, and the population decreased year by year. Eventually, Vera became a no man's land.
Vera’s secluded environment attracted the attention of mysterious forces, who hired a foreign legion to take control of the area. The crisis lurks beneath the sprawling desert, and a huge explosion fills the sky, shattering the facade of Vera's supposed silence…
A large amount of radioactive fallout falls into the area and is spreading out rapidly. Players must rush to the evacuation point in a limited amount of time as the level of hazardous substances in the environment rises.
To adapt to the arid environment, a new traversal equipment and new vehicles will also be introduced in this map.
The evacuation helicopter only has four seats, so players not only have to flee from the terrifying sandstorm, but also fight with other players for survival!

Adventurer Season 7 Extension Announcement
Currently, the development team is giving their best effort to finish the new map, in order to ensure the content quality, and at the same time, provide more time for players to complete their Pinnacle Challenges for a free Season 8 Adventurer Pass, we have decided to postpone the end of Season 7 to April 9, 2020.
During this period (February 27 - April 9), we will be launching a variety of in-game events, a 4V4 TDM gamemode, and implement a dynamic lighting system to improve the quality of the game, stay tuned!

A new gamemode is coming! The new 4V4 TDM allows you to focus on experiencing the thrill of gunfights. In this mode, players will be put into two 4-player teams to compete in a small arena. Store- Adventurer Tier Boosts
We have brought the Adventurer Tier Boosts back to the Store! There are three levels of Adventurer Tier instant boosts available for purchase (+1, +10 and +20 tiers)
A few tips:
Players can purchase adventurer tiers at the Store or through the "Buy Tiers" button under the Adventurer Pass interface
The +10 and +20 tier options both have discounts compared to purchasing just one adventurer tier
Please pay close attention to your current adventurer tier when purchasing. If your adventurer tier exceeds 100 after purchase, the exceeded tiers will be converted to character level experience points
Please note that players will not be able to purchase adventurer tiers if they are already at tier 100
Gameplay
When the squad has a player that is knocked down but getting revived by the Medgun, the whole squad will no longer be immediately eliminated

Improvements
Added a custom cursor in the game!
The Flying Alien egg now spawns closer to the floor;
The SFX that plays for powerless electrical appliances now plays when the energy is cut off instead of every time the balloon appears;
Added an item spawn sound for things that grow on the pumpkin garden (if you've played the last challenge, you know why I didn't just say fruit there);
Removed the early access warning from the splash screen :Added Behold's logo as a new splash screen;
The weekly challenge text now has an extra font to improve legibility;
Compendium screen no longer cuts out the last achievements and now only moves one achievement for every button press (it was skipping them for going too fast);
Changed the pause menu title color for better legibility;
Added a deconstruction SFX;
Reduced Bed's collider to avoid players from getting stuck between it and a wall;
The Flying Alien's egg now disappears after it explodes (it had a small delay that looked weird);
Balance
Players speed was increased by 5%;
Enemies can now target quarantined appliances and will keep focusing them until they manage to get them dirty;
Bug Fixes
[COM] Yet another tweak on the navmesh to try and avoid invisible walls from appearing (if this persists, it was definitely not for lack of trying lol);
Fix issue that caused some purchases not to be delivered on high latency games;
[COM] Added a new check to avoid players from sleeping/exercising without playing the proper animation;
The Recycler now shows items that are queued for recycling once again;
[COM] Fixed the broken character that was at the start of every patch note text in the game menu for a while;
Fixed the issue causing the Macrowave to play the starting SFX every time a player was close to it;
Fixed the problem with the SFX for things porting back to the porch not playing reliably;
Removed the porting back VFX for items that did not come back (like trash bags and aliens);
Fixed the typo for "when" at the loading screen;
Mama Beaver "voice" now properly stops playing every time you go back to the menu after starting the tutorial;
