The Art Book has been printed and shipped to Kickstarter Backers! Eric wanted this book to highlight all the effort that went into Battle Chef Brigade's art and for it to sit comfortably next to the top-tier art books he grew up with. As a result, this is one phenomenal book.
Since we know that some fans missed the Kickstarter campaign long ago, we printed a bunch of extra books to be sold through The Yetee. You can find the Art Book here alongside the apron, t-shirt, and stickers!
In over 160 stunning full-color pages, the book presents the evolution of the gameâs beloved characters, feared monsters, tantalizing recipes, and lush environments, all annotated by Art Director Eric Huang. I'm really happy with how ValeGuard turned out. Over the summer I've decided this is the version of the game I want to call finished. It's not perfect, but ValeGuard surpasses all of my goals and I'm really quite proud of it. I hope everyone enjoys playing ValeGuard as much as I did making it, and maybe I'll see some of you on the next game.

Hi there! Today, aside from smaller bugfixes is probably the las update as of this Summer. ËsteamsadË However, this patch brought to you something, lots of you has been asking us to implement since the beginning. From now on these 7 achievements will pop up in your profile in honor of supporting our game!These achievements include 5 letters of the new logo to puzzle out the name of the game, and also 2 pictures of the main characters to bring your Steam Profile to the next level!
Roy Buff: Another fix on the game was the vulnerability of Roy.He died even from the smallest hit he got, and it fustrated people who wanted to take a screenshot of him, and died cause the fox got too close to him.From today on he will take a lot more damage, but can still be killed if people don't want them on their journey.
Terrain textures: Last time we checked in we announced the news about Terrain Textures.Now they got even more enchanced!Go and check them out!

Thank you to everyone who's been reporting multiplayer and game data issues! We've got fixes in progress and a workaround for you to use in the meantime. We could also use your help testing our fixes on Pre-Release. More info below.
Game Data Issues
While playing multiplayer, or sometimes when returning to single player, many users are reporting missing data in their game. Most often this takes the form of missing inventory in chests and/or disappearing creatures. Weâve narrowed the cause down to some parts of the multiplayer framework, but in order to fully fix it we needed to bring in a new framework that we have better control over. That has been our main focus, and you can see the progress on our Pre-Release branch. Please help us test. More info below.
Hereâs What You Can Do To Recover Lost Data While weâre working on the fix, it is possible in many cases to recover the lost data. CHKN by default saves periodically while youâre playing as well as every time you return to the main menu. As soon as you notice that you have missing data you can load any of these past saves to recover. This will cause you to lose some progress, but this is often preferable to starting over. Here are the steps to take to recover your game:
Save and return to the main menu to ensure you have a copy of your current save.
Continue your adventure game.
In the escape menu select the Load Save option.
In this menu you will see a list of all the saves of your current adventure game, along with a timestamp of when it was saved. The bottom of the list is the most recent, so start there and work your way up to find a save that has the recovered data.
The Load Save screen. Choose an older save from the list to load it and check if your lost data is there.

Another patch that fixes some minor issues and should improve the zombie survival gameplay;
The zombie survival gameplay still is kind of unbalanced (mainly because of the ability to freely respawn / no possibility to revive downed teammates), it should be a bit clearer for new players now. More changes will come, but not in a patch - that will be a new version.
