CRSED: Cuisine Royale - Squier
General Questions

What is Cuisine Royale?
Cuisine Royale is a ‘battle royale’ shooter. Find out more information about the game on the official website or on the Cuisine Royale Steam page.

Is the game free to play or do I need a subscription?
The game is free to play until at least the end of Early Access, and doesn’t require subscription. Those who would love to support the development of the game, can purchase ingredients to create masks, suits, pants and other cosmetic items, and a Season Pass, which will allow you to get more rewards and level up faster!

Do I need to register to play Cuisine Royale?
To play Cuisine Royale you can use either your Gaijin.Net account or play via Steam.

What is the Gaijin.NET Agent and how can I automatically update the game?
The Gaijin.NET Agent is recommended for set up at first launch of the game. The Gaijin.NET Agent is harmless and safe. It tracks updates in Cuisine Royale and downloads them to the game to its actual version (as well as any other Gaijin games installed on a PC). You can always turn off Automatic updates in the launcher settings.
Steam players can update and launch the game directly from the Steam Library, without using the launcher and the automatic updater. Though, we still recommend the use of automatic updates, launching the game via the launcher. It will allow you to update the game to the actual version at any time.

Where can I find the system requirements?
The actual system requirements can be found in the ‘About’ page on the game website or on the game’s Steam page.

How can I change the language in the game?
You can switch the language in the Launcher or in the game settings (right click the game title in Steam library – Properties – Language) if playing via Steam.

Game questions

How many players can participate in one battle and what modes are available?
30 players take part in each session. Currently we have three modes available:
  • SOLO – a deathmatch where each player fights for themselves.
  • DUO – battles for 2-player squads.
  • SQUAD – battles for 3-player and 4-player squads. You can also try yourself in these battles fighting alone or in a team of two players.

Can I play with friends?
Yes, you can find contacts in the game main menu, add other players to your friends list and invite them to join a squad to play together in DUO (2 players) and SQUAD (3-4 players) modes.

What are the minions for and why do they follow players?
In games where both first person and third person views are available, the latter gives an advantage. A player can spot an opponent from behind an obstacle, while the opponent doesn’t know he’s been seen by his adversary nearby. In Cuisine Royale each player has a minion, which carries a camera in third person view. The third person view camera-man reveals the location of a player when looking from a corner. So be on the lookout. If you notice a butterfly or a small helicopter suddenly appearing from nowhere – you are being watched. If you switch to first person view, your minion will land on your left shoulder (you can see it, using the mouse plus the ‘C’ key).

Can I choose a server to play on?
Yes, there are servers available for Europe, East Asia, Eastern Europe and North America.

Can payed items provide me with any gameplay advantages?
In the game shop you can purchase a Season Pass and ingredients to create cosmetic items. They do not give any gameplay advantages, neither do they improve any skills in the game.

Account security and forbidden game modifications

Does the game feature an anti-cheat system?
Yes, in Cuisine Royale we use the EasyAntiCheat system, which prevents unfair play and fraud. EasyAntiCheat follows a zero-tolerance strategy for unfair play in Cuisine Royale, and any account ban will be permanent.

Interstellar Rift - Conquintor
Welcome to the last Alpha patch before we head off to Beta early next week. This patch is a continuation of the combat patch and introduces more weapons, tweaks to enemies and more!

First off, let’s talk about the two new weapons! The tier 2 railgun and the flak cannon! These new weapons will add more variety to your arsenal! The railgun is a large weapon that fires inert tungsten projectiles at great speeds! Dealing a lot of damage to the target. That said the railgun has a slow fire rate and limited ammo capacity. As well as a charge up time before it can fire. To fire the railgun hold down the fire key and wait for the indicator to fill up, once its filled up you can fire the gun by releasing the fire key. If you hold down the fire key too long the gun will fire automatically and if you don't hold it down long enough it wont fire at all.

Additionally there is the flak cannon this weapon is meant as an area suppression weapon and fires multiple explosives per shot. Which detonate after a timer runs out, a collision with an object or if the distance of your current target has been traveled by the bullets. The explosions have a area damage effect so be sure to stay clear of them when you are under fire or if you intend to fly through them yourself.

Additionally we have rebalanced the Skrill as well as add new types of Skrill Grunts. These Grunts can now evolves when they eat certain gas clouds, and gain new abilities and strength! Skrill will evolve in a specific way, starting at normal these are the same enemies as you have known them in the past. Their next evolution will turn them green, granting them shields. Their next evolution will turn them blue and in addition to their shield, they gain more health, and they will arc lightning which can damage your shields and ship. And lastly they will turn red meaning they will have their previous upgrades plus more health and they will now also fire missiles. We plan to add similar evolutions to the other Skrill species as well. Note that in higher tier systems you may find these evolved Skrill naturally.

We’ve also been reworking how POIs (points of interest), are displayed on your flight hud. They are now grouped under the planets they are nearest to, and will split into different icons when you get close. We also added a new station list on the secondary monitor in the helm that allows you to target stations directly without searching for them in your hud first.

A change that is especially relevant for fans of larger ships, is that the amount of default armor your ship has now scales with the amount of hull blocks. You can get up to 1 large armor generator (100k armor) worth of extra hit points by placing more exterior blocks.

For all other things in the patch, please see the details in the patch notes linked below.

As always, we’d appreciate any feedback you’re willing to provide, it will only help us make the game better. We have a fairly busy discord server which you can join!
Feel free to drop by and have a chat, we’d love to hear your opinion and feedback!

Thank you all for playing and see you star-side!

Crusaders of the Lost Idols - Codename
Did you ever need some help with your crusading? Well, now you can have some!

Five all-new Taskmasters have joined Crusaders of the Lost Idols!

Taskmasters are purchased with either Rubies or real money, and can click monsters, level Crusaders, and use activated abilities. And if you add three Taskmasters to click monsters, they'll also pick everything up for you! Awesome!

We hope you had enough time to save up your rubies!

Note: This update did not take the entirety of time since the change to the use of Rubies was announced. We wanted to make sure that players could save up Rubies before we released it, as well as we had to find time in the normal content schedule to make this addition, it being a new feature.

Robocraft - leftofnever

Here at Freejam we specialize in creating positive gaming experiences through user-generated content (UGC). We’ve been doing that with Robocraft since 2013 and in just over a week’s time we’ll be releasing our next UGC game on Steam built entirely around cardboard - CardLife.

To celebrate this milestone event and to thank those of you that choose to support us through the purchase of our games, we’ve collaborated with the CardLife team to bring some of their cardboard aesthetics to Robocraft.

What is CardLife?
Created by a dedicated and incredibly talented team here at Freejam Games, CardLife is an online science fantasy survival game made entirely of cardboard. Play by yourself or with others as you explore a fully editable cardboard world. Mine for resources, fight fantastical creatures and bring your imagination to life as you draw everything you craft. It’s coming to Steam Early Access on October 9th. If you haven’t already done so, you can add it to your wishlist over on Steam.

Check out the trailer for the game below.

https://youtu.be/4UOXMTcD9u4
How to claim your free cosmetics:
These new cosmetic parts are super-exclusive and can only be obtained by purchasing CardLife on Steam. When you purchase CardLife, the cosmetic parts will automatically appear in your Robocraft account when you next login through Steam. If you have multiple Robocraft accounts, please ensure that you login to your main Steam-linked account as the parts will be bound to the first account that it logs and parts are non-transferable.

As these parts are cosmetic variants of existing Robocraft parts, you must have those parts unlocked first, or you won’t be able to use them on your robots; they’ll remain locked until you unlock the vanilla part on the Tech Tree.

Here’s what you’ll get:
  • 10,000 cardboard Medium Cubes
  • 10,000 cardboard Medium Edge Cubes
  • 2x cardboard Wheel Geoterrain
  • 2x cardboard Steering Wheel Geoterrain
  • 1x cardboard Ion Distorter
You can then forge as many of the cosmetic parts as you wish; these will cost the same amount of Robits as the regular vanilla parts. They can be recycled; you’ll receive the same amount of Robits as the regular non-cardboard parts.

Finally, it’s worth noting that if you’re a CardLife founder, you’ll be able to transfer your ownership of the game across to Steam as soon as it launches. The CardLife team will go through the process on how to do this via email, so be sure to keep an eye on your inboxes.

CardLife is launched on Steam Early Access on October 9th
