The following bug fixes and updates are included in the Open Beta version.
Version 0.8.5 is not being released in the public branch due to some bugs that were fixed in this 0.8.6 release.

Updates/adjustments
Currently running test plays will also now close when a project is closed.
In user-built games, project data contents are no longer recorded in action_log.txt.

Due to popular demand, Sandbox Mode now has everything unlocked by default. So that means creatures like the Dragons and T-Rex can be placed in Sandbox Worlds with wild abandon! The same goes for special characters such as the Minotaur and the Cyclops.
Character customisation is also fully unlocked in this mode, so enjoy making loads of whacky characters to play as.
Oh, and a bunch of bug fixes that we've toiled away at.
We just wanted to announce that in The Hunt Club we are currently running events that are mainly focused on Vurhonga Savanna that are giving away lots and lots of in game money. This as a way of giving players a way to regain the money they lost by buying the more expensive KING 470DB ($125k) before we reduced the price to $90k, after listening to player feedback.

*Today’s mission (13/9): “Royal Reimbursement: Hog Wild or Pronking Mad" - Harvest springbok, warthogs, or wild boar and earn a Quick Kill Bonus of 100”
*Weekly Mission: "Royal Reimbursement: The Golden Fields of Vurhonga Savanna and Hirschfelden" - Harvest wildlife downed in Vurhonga Savanna or Hirschfelden and earn a GOLD game score or better
In 'Protect the truck' mode, VR user should throw apple bombs to prevent animals from reaching the truck. mobile user needs to hit a move button repeatedly to avoid an apology bomb and acquire an apple in the truck.
Protect the barn
In 'Protect the barn' mode, it is necessary for the VR user to hit the animal flying to the barn using two brooms. mobile users need to fly in a safe direction to avoid farmers' broom and get apple.
The world’s leading drone-racing simulator leaves Early Access and takes over the skies today! Liftoff is officially released on Steam and receives a subtitle to mark the start of a new era for the project. Liftoff is available on Steam, for Mac, PC and Linux under the name "Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing".

Release!
Three years of development, hundreds of updates, but most of all the continuous support from the community have turned Liftoff into what it is today. The scope and vision for the project have grown immensely since we released our first Early Access version in 2015. The project has become everything we had hoped it would be and more. The Future
The release of Liftoff is not the end of the project, but rather the start of a new stage in our adventure. The team at LuGus Studios is committed to further grow and evolve the project with more free updates, for years to come. We have planned a revamped tutorial, new exciting environments, extended tournament features and much more. Furthermore, LuGus Studios is committed to the expansion of the brand and aims to not only release Liftoff Academy in the future, but a multitude of other Liftoff related products.
There's so many things yet to do and we hope you'll continue to support us in these goals.
Announcing the Liftoff Pro Pilot tournament!
To show our commitment to the game and the community, LuGus Studios will be hosting a huge Liftoff tournament to take place in stages after the launch. The winning pilot will receive a $10,000 sponsorship deal and be flown to real drone racing tournaments around the world. More information on that soon!
