Last month, you had a whole Amplitude Free Week-end to play any of our games and unlock cool fleet skins for Endless Space 2. Today, these skins have arrived! Here's a quick look at the Renegade Fleets update.
Cravers "Prime" The Cravers Prime are an offshoot of the hive closely tied to the Virtual Endless. Whether they are a threat or a boon to the nest, only time will tell... (previously only accessible to early access players: now available to all!)
Sophon "Mavros" Though the Sophons are occasionally jealous of the swaggering, alpha-being image of the Mavros, in fact they believe that the Mavros are too erratic to do anything of value (i.e. serious research). However, every once in a while, the Sophons like to remind other civilizations that they are entirely capable of blowing up other people’s moons as well…
Unfallen "Firekeepers" The Firekeepers have the critical role of tending the brush fires that support the Unfallen life cycle. The fires both remove scrub to prepare the fields to receive a new generation of Firsts, but also melt the resin that covers and protects the incredibly hardy Unfallen seeds. These ceremonial hulls commemorate the dedication of this organization.
Vodyani "Heretic" When Isyander St. Shaiad decided to throw away his lifetime of beliefs in the Church of the Virtual Saints and become Isyander Shumèd, he changed more than just his name. He rebuilt his own Cloth and the armor of his ships in crimson and white, the colors that he believed were initially used on the Endless altars to the Lost.
Lumeris "Buccaneer" A little piracy between friends was common before the relations between the Four Families became structured and formalized. While this hull cladding is a nod to those earlier times, there are also rumors that some fleets bearing these colors did not originate from Lancellum dockyards, but a rogue operation run by a shadowy figure known as Captain Roth.
Riftborn "Redshifted" Particles in zones inhabited by Riftborn are occasionally redshifted as a temporary adaptation to slow the local effects of corruption. This is an aftereffect of their time manipulation technologies, but has become an important tool in itself to offset some of the problems that their equipment—and ships—encounter in the Endless galaxy.
Horatio "Emerald" Horatio liked emerald green this weekend. That is all.

[PERFORMANCES] Fixed an infinite turn issue. The source of the problem is still being investigated, but the provided game saves should now be usable

Next Month update: SEASONS
The planned content for next month is SEASONS. The game will now have Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring like in real life. Basically, in winter the crops will be more sparse and the soil will become frozen. You’ll have to plan your game more carefully!

Minor Changes
Added “place stockpile” as the first objective
You no longer get chestnut when cutting down a chestnut tree. As with other trees, you have to harvest the seeds that spawn around the tree
Added Credits on title screen
Window buttons now toggle the window instead of opening them
Removed some plants graphic variations that were too hard to see (spelt, flax and cotton had versions with only a couple stems)

Fixed quarry no giving any stone
Fixed fishing shack repair cost being zero (in time as in materials)
Deactivated keyboard shortcuts during writing save file name
Set up the right sound when picking tree seeds up
Fixed a problem when placing several stockpiles rapidly
Fixed quarry/mine making game freeze when trying to extract past the limit
Fixed too long repair time by applying a logarithmic function on the original repair time
Fixed tree seeds spawning in water
Fixed a silent error occuring when trying to craft a tool while missing a material
Recycling a building now checks if there’s enough space in the storage
Fixed “return to main menu” button which was inactive when on the “all villagers are dead” screen
Fixed a glitch that allowed you to have infinite ore veins if you recycled and rebuilt the mine before it depleted
Fixed “villager affected to houses” count which wasn’t working, preventing from unlocking the Hamlet achievement
here is another update while you are waiting for the XP system to be finished. This one is focused on looks and feel, optimization, map variety, and some demon skill mechanics.
We also added new exterior spawners for barrels and mannequins, and changed how barrels work. Now, when you explode a barrel, a small fire spawns in its place, which cripples the demon.
You can also remove the alpha test sticker in the settings now, as some of you requested on our Discord.

- optimized and changed how volumetric fog works to be less performance impactful - demon damage blur lowered - barrels, when destroyed, now spawn a little fire which last for some time and cripples the demon - vision passive now helps with the demon damage blur - you get demon skill points slower now by default - you get rewarded 2 skill points for each kill now - you get demon points quicker while you are stalking your prey - houses get randomized more now, there is less of them, and they have more complete interiors - added a settings option to remove the alpha sticker - added a settings option to remove lens dirt - removed "bloom" being optional - disabling it influenced the experience too much, visibility greatly reduced - added motion blur - added depth of field - added motion blur setting - added depth of field setting - tweaked looks and feel a bit - added new procedural exterior spawners - fog color tone is now randomly picked each match to add a bit of variety in mood/feel between various matches - tldr. map should be much more different each match now, plus everything should look bit better :) - fixed some audio init problems
