This update contains a wealth of new cosmetic character customisation options! Some of the new options are permanently unlocked through acquiring traits during any of your playthroughs, others are available from the start.
There are also two new mission types; Challenge, where the stats of your cart will be negative affected until the mission is complete, and Search, where you'll need to find which of three potential destinations is the correct one before returning to complete to mission.
Systems
- Game now saves the state of Market Events - Added a new mission type: Challenge missions - these work in the same way as Escort missions, requiring you to a visit a specific town, but they also detriment your cart's primary stats while they are active. - Added a new mission type: Search missions. You are given three locations, one of which contains the item you are looking for. Once you find the item by searching in each settlement until you get the correct one, return it to the original location for a reward. - Unlock status for trade traits and max faction reputation are now stored separately from any specific save file, if you ever unlock a trade trait or max out any faction rep in any playthrough then it will permanently unlock one or a number of customisation items specific to that trait/faction.

Some bugfixes and promised feature work has been shifted back to the next update which will hopefully land soon.

Current state of the game
We have a few bugs to iron out before we get into release, so we've decided to give some keys away to catch all of them. The game has a few bugs and gameplay elements to work out. Expect a lot of changes in the coming months.
If you encounter issues with the current build, please check out the forums to see if anyone else has seen this issue. If no one has, please post about it! Be sure to read the pinned posts so you know what information to provide.

Game Breaking
Players don't spawn when joining. Hosting player has to kill themselves in the pit (room with bridges) to restart match
Post process settings have to be set to High or Epic to avoid the game being too dark
Texture settings have to be set to High or Epic to avoid landscape popping
We're working on getting these fixed as soon as possible. If you want to play now, just check the in game menu (tab) to see when players have joined, then jump into the pit.
Bugs
Can reload while clip is full
Using ironsights while reloading causes some weird stuff to happen
Too much bounce when rifle is fired from hip
Shotgun fire particle has the wrong rotation
Death sound plays more than once
Switching to first person as the monster causes an infinite loop
Sometimes the in-game menu doesn't allow you to press anything, fixed if you die
Sprint doesn't work on controller
Need screen resolution options for fullscreen and windowed
Monster glides a little while running
Kills and deaths inside of the in-game menu are off
Plans for Release
New Level
We're going to be adding a new level to the game. The Sewers is an undercover government operation that was infiltrated by the monster. There are long decrepit hallways, dark and open rooms with creepy atmosphere, and places you can only access if you look hard enough.
Bug fixes and gameplay improvements
To get all of the bugs knocked out, we need your help finding them! We're going to be looking through our forums and engaging the community while fixing the game.
We also want to take some time and make the game "feel" better. Mist of the Dark's combat is very fast paced and adrenaline fueling. We want to keep it this way and improve on it. If you have any suggestions on how to do so, please feel free to check out the forums for that as well!

Greetings everyone! This update brings some new additions that considerable change the gameplay.
From now, marked locations will be connect by roads, zombie hordes that wander throughout roads can potentially reach all locations.
[Added] - Customize initial survivors name and portrait on new game - Roads connect to marked locations (towns, research center and military base)
[Improvements] - Notification icon on the survivor portrait displaying how much level points are available - Larger map (3x times bigger than the previous one) - New sounds, survivors male and female dying sounds and sad songs - Sounds for consuming Food and medic items
[Fixed] - Typo errors - Corrected wrong road connections - More curved roads images - Electric Fence On/Off sound volume fixed - Defense on encampment not updating upon repair - Wrong female/male sounds
Because the recent changes in the map size, all previous saved games with older versions won't be able to load properly. It is advised to not try to load an old saved game. It will not load.
With the map now bigger, you can expect in the next update new locations to explore and many more features to be implement in a nearby future, new unmarked locations like abandoned shacks.

Improved the function of Workshop item import and export Now you can import/export workshop items as wpk files to prevent data loss when creator delete the item
For old exported folders, just copy them to '[Installation Directory]\bin\res\workshop\' folder, do not change the folder name.
