Tom Clancy’s The Division™ - UbiFrostX

Welcome to The Division 2's endgame! We are building the post-level 30 adventure with an "endgame first" philosophy in mind, introducing a range of innovative activities on Day One. The fun does not stop once you reach level cap. In fact, things are just getting started.

The first leg in your end-game progression journey begins by choosing a Specialization after completing the main campaign. Specializations are a brand new character progression system that places both loadout customization and raw power in your hands as the player. After choosing a Specialization, you will gain access to a plethora of skills, mods, and talents that enhances how you play The Division 2. The most iconic feature associated with Specializations is Signature Weapons—powerful firearms that will definitely leave a mark on those standing in your way. The three Specializations available at launch are:

  • The Sharpshooter - unlocks a powerful .50 caliber sniper rifle and a set
of tool mods and skills tree allowing to change the tide of a firefight
    even from afar.

  • The Demolitionist - unlocks a destructive grenade launcher along tools
and skills focusing on disrupting enemy plans and entrenched
    positions.

  • The Survivalist - unlocks a precision custom crossbow firing exploding
bolts and tools and skills that leave little chance for enemies to recover
    after being hit.

Once you've chosen a Specialization, you are not locked in – you can always choose another if you want to try it out, and progress all of them individually on the same character.

With a wide range of activities available at endgame, including the challenging 8 man raids, you will need to practice your skills. Choosing a Specialization gives you the tools necessary to adapt your role to any forward-facing challenge. Equip the loadout that suits the situation best, leverage the competition, and prepare your assault!

ASTRONEER - eonix

Steam 'Early Access' players will receive this update today, June 14th, 2018.

Update 0.8.0 contains a new tutorial, the beginnings of a complete overhaul to the game UI, and a completely new element in the Research system, Harvestables!

UPDATES
You can find these updates in 0.8.0.0, the current build of the game.

The game has an all-new Tutorial experience that is accessible from a new drop pod in the Main Menu! The goal of the new Tutorial is to introduce the basic concepts of Terrain deformation, Oxygen / Power management, Research, Exploration, and Basebuilding in a more streamlined way to new players. We hope that this tutorial will be good for new players to Astroneer, but also to players who haven't played the game in a while but are coming back!
  • When launching Astroneer 0.8.0.0 for the first time, new and returning players will be prompted to try the new Tutorial. Returning players can skip the Tutorial and it will be available to replay at any time from the Main Menu.
  • In order to match the unlock progression of the Tutorial, new games will now begin with the Canister, Tethers, Small Generator, and Open 1-Seat unlocked, in addition to the modules and platforms already available by default.
  • Even if you’re already familiar with the game, we encourage you to play through the new Tutorial. We will continue iterating on the experience over the coming months so please be sure to share your feedback with us in the forums!

The game has been updated with a "v1" of an overhaul to all of Astroneer’s in-game text UI. Instead of persistent floating text, almost all interactive items, modules, chassis, and resources, have been updated with a "UI card" visual design.
  • All modules and resources now have an icon associated with them.
  • Hovering over holographic input indicators will now tell you the resource required for module, printer, and fabricator recipes.
  • Proximity-based tooltips have been added to all embedded Resources.
  • Position indicators have been removed from vehicles, so be sure to print Beacons and slot them on your Vehicles if you intend to walk very far away!
  • Some areas like: main menu UI, spaceflight UI, Backpack UI, as well as UI for the Trade Module and Mineral Extractor will be updated in a future release.

There are now special plant and mineral formations on Terran, Barren, Arid, and Exotic planets that spawn unique objects you can instantly research for a variable amount of Bytes. These Harvestables will respawn their research items over time, and also have a chance to spawn a large, single-use Research Item at their root. Be warned, though: uprooting the plant or mineral will prevent it from respawning their instant-use research items. So weigh your options carefully between single use and respawning values - and be careful where you dig! The goal of the Harvestables system is to smooth out the starting gameplay experience by offering small, renewable sources of Bytes in areas that might have a low density of Research Chests, and to provide interesting points of interaction across the surface of planets.

Your Backpack inventory and location are now preserved between multiplayer game sessions! When returning to your friend’s saved games or rejoining after a lost connection, your Astroneer will load in the last location you left them. Also, in order to fix a number of bugs that could occur if clients joined before the host deployed the shelter, multiplayer is now unavailable until the host has landed on the starting planet and deployed the shelter.

BUGS

  • [AS-2855] -- Fixed an issue where storms were appearing pixelated for players on the Xbox One
  • [AS-2890] - Fixed a bug with Generators so they once again pull available organic from backpack slots
  • [AS-2894] - Fixed a bug where Terrain Analyzer color meters changed to black upon exiting game and reloading the saved game.
  • [AS-2917] - Audio should now reset properly after Astroneer death.
  • [AS-2935] - Player backpack oxygen tank should once again pull oxygen from connected tanks or filters.

KNOWN ISSUES
In a higher latency situation, rejoining players may appear at first where they last were in a Multiplayer game, but due to latency, input is still bound to the EXO satellite and on pressing 'A' they get relaunched from the station.

1.0 RELEASE DATE NEWS

Also, just in case you missed it, we were at E3 and announced some big news! Astroneer is now slated to go into full 1.0 in December 2018! We will be updating the roadmap to reflect the rest of our plans during Early Access, but rest assured, we will continue updating and adding to the game in order to make 1.0 a huge advancement of Astroneer!

Hey all!
The game has just been released on Steam and we're super excited to share a new story with you.

We hope you enjoy the mystery, the spooks, and the goofs!

We'll be keeping an eye out to see if anything is amiss, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Our goal is to continue to deliver regular content and features updates every 3-4 weeks. If you are enjoying these updates, please take the time to write us a review. Thanks for continuing to support the development of Foxhole.

Amphibious Warfare 2.0

This update brings amphibious warfare to a new level. The Cargo Ship has been added, existing amphibious vehicles have been redesigned, an island based map has been added, and water based game mechanics have been overhauled to make amphibious invasions a big part of the persistent war.

Amphibious Vehicles

The Cargo Ship is a brand new water vehicle that is used to support shore landings. They can deploy into a forward base on beachheads, providing a stockpile and spawn point for the invading party.

Gunboats have been revamped to better support amphibious assaults. The gunners are now enclosed within the vehicle, protecting them from flanking maneuvers during an invasion and the dual MG turret's range has been extended.

Gunboat visuals have also been completely redesigned. The Warden variant has also finally been added to the game. Warden players rejoice!

Oarbreaker Isles

To accompany this amphibious revamp, the first "islands" map has been added. Oarbreaker Isles contains one large island to the west, where a continuous land battle can occur between the Port Bases. The rest of the map is a series of small to large fragments of land that contain Forts, victory towns, and other world structure. The east end connects to the mainland via water border travel, so amphibious invasions on Farranac Coast can be staged from this region in World Conquest.

Strategic Structures

New strategic structures have been added to the world, which creates new objectives for players in both World Conquest and Skirmish modes.

Forts are strategic bases that are located in remote areas of the world. You can consider them to be "Mini Town Halls". They will serve as strategic points for staging invasions into new regions in World Conquest.

Observation Towers are giant lookout structures used to gather map intel over large areas. They have triple the detection radius of conventional Watchtowers and have tier 3 level armor.

Expanded World

Both World Conquest and Skirmish have been scaled up for larger more expansive wars. In World Conquest, three extra regions can optionally be included in the conquest, one of them being an exclusive water zone. As a result, cross region amphibious incursions and water supply lines are now key parts of the war effort.

Release Notes
There's a lot of other changes, features, and bug fixes packed into this update! Refer to the release notes for all the details: http://www.foxholegame.com/single-post/2018/06/14/014-Release-Notes

Tom Clancy’s The Division™ - UbiFrostX

The Division 2 is an opportunity to share new stories, narrate new events, and develop bigger and better adventures. A new chapter within the overall narrative of The Division will begin, and we want players to experience everything a sequel has to offer. In order to build on the successes of The Division, players will begin anew. All players in The Division 2 will take their first steps in D.C. as new, fresh Agents!

While your character is new in The Division 2, they are not new to the Strategic Homeland Division. You are already an established Agent within the organization, harnessing the same skillset and abilities as those activated before you. You fight for the continuity of government during cases of catastrophic emergency, and this distress call is unlike any that has come before.

You are headed to Washington, D.C., a city on the brink of collapse. Trained and empowered by presidential order, you are called to prevent the fall of society and the nation tearing itself apart. Your mission: unite the civilians by working hand in hand with D.C.'s survivors before it becomes the center of a new Civil War. Agents will pursue an active role in the rebuilding of D.C., helping residents and eliminating those who threaten the stability of the entire country. Foster relationships, make friendships, and intimidate enemies to enact change. You are the last line of defense, so make it count!

As Agents make advances against enemy factions, players will see their power grow over time to level 30. It is here that the endgame begins.
