ORION: Prelude - Valve

SUBJECT: Version 1.1b HotFix LIVE!
We just wrapped up a quick hotfix to address some main issues that we wanted to get live for the weekend. It’s another quick hotfix (1.1b) to hold you guys over as e crank away on the big Version 1.2 which will be incorporating not only new things but addressing a whole slew of other aspects using both fan and developer feedback.

VERSION 1.1b CHANGELOG:
• 01 - Added Device: OSOR Teleporter. Used for Stuck Prevention.
• 02 - Added Filtering / Sorting to the Server Browser.
• 03 - Added potential quick-fix for joining games as a spectator (bug)
• 04 - Added potential quick-fix for Wave getting stuck and not progressing.
• 05 - Improved Rham grab by making them drop you less frequently under the world.
• 06 - Reduced the numbers of Dinosaurs in a wave (slightly - scaled by difficulty & player count).
• 07 - Mechs can now be healed.
• 08 - Fixed achievements that were not being triggered properly.
• 09 - Hitting raptors in a vehicle slows you down slightly.
• 10 - Increased Hoverbike turbo speed by 2X.
• 11 - Fixed issues where some keys were not being bound in the Options.
• 12 - Vehicle mini gun audio now replicated properly.
• 13 - Disabled logging to increase performance.

Might and Magic: Heroes VI Update Released

1.4 Patch Release Notes
- Added the Custom Map Exchange feature, allowing players to download missing maps in the lobby, from the host.
- Added the Archipelago map, previously available only during the Christmas event, in Skirmish mode (solo and multiplayer)
- Added features in the map editor:

o Help Files: Added tutorials in the Map Editor
o Initial Map Setup: Set a trigger to set up the initial structure allowing to save a map right after creation
o Unified Object Behavior: Implemented unified behavior for all affected objects (e.g.: object selection, scaling, rotation handling, etc.)
o Mini map: Removed the non-functional mini map from the Map Editor

Here is a first insight of the changes we are going to apply for the patch 1.5, focusing on the Game Balancing:

- Refitting of Core unit health and defense

o Stronger differentiation between might & magic defense of units according to their nature
o Reduction of power for Necropolis units
o Increase of power for Inferno units

- Tweaking of creature growth for some core and elite creatures

- Increase of power for Luck in general, by increasing creature luck values, especially for Inferno
- Increasing interest of abilities that affect might offense, might defense, luck and leadership

- Decrease of power of HEALING spells and abilities (HEAL, MASS HEAL,REGENERATION, MASS REGENERATION, RESURRECTION,LIFE DRAIN, MASS LIFE DRAIN)
- Refitting of healing powers of certain creatures (Haven SISTERS mainly)

- Increase of power for most DIRECT DAMAGE SPELLS, especially ZONE DAMAGE SPELLS (like FIREBALL)

- Increase of power for MASS STAND YOUR GROUND ability
- Increase of damage boost for MASS HEROISM ability
- Increase of power for ARCHERY I ability
- Decrease of the Enlightment ability to 20%

- Increase of power and cooldown time for POISON CLOUD spell
- Increase of power for MASS AGONY spell
- Increase of power for WEAKNESS spell

Steam client update released

A Steam client update is now available. To apply the update, click the Steam menu inside of Steam and then select "Check for Steam Client Updates...". The specific changes include:

- Remote management of your games library through the web or mobile device
- Added UI to redeem Steam wallet vouchers sold by GameStop
- Fixed download issues with new content system
- Fixed crashes related to Steam Workshop file management

Steam Remote Downloads Now Available Online

Available immediately, users’ Steam library of games can now be managed remotely via the web. With an active Steam client running on the remote PC or Mac, users may log into the Steam web site or mobile app to access and manage their library of games, downloading pre-loads, new releases, or their latest purchases, as soon as they’re available. Head home to find your new downloads installed and ready to play upon arrival.

To kick off a remote download, simply visit your Games list on the Steam Community site, which can be accessed from your own profile using a web browser or the Steam mobile app on iOS or Android. If logged into the latest update of the Steam client on a PC or Mac, there you’ll see which games are currently installed, and have the ability to install others from your library. Or, seamlessly complete your online purchase with remote installation: When a remote session is detected, the Steam store will ask whether you'd like to download your new purchases immediately.
