For Update 4 we have optimized a lot to get better performance. We hope that your PC systems will also benefit from this new update. In addition, we redesigned the physics of driving and vehicle sound systems to enhance the feeling of driving a large vehicle and make it more believable. Both of these changes, optimization and physics of driving, have been implemented based on your requests. Thus, we are looking forward to your feedback.
Please note that you can adjust the tilt of the vehicles in the options menu, see screenshot.
Nevertheless, we advise you to be careful at first to get used to the new behaviour of vehicle physics. Professional bus drivers in real life make it seem easy to drive buses, but the control of these large vehicles also requires a lot of skill, sensitivity and anticipatory driving around curves, serpentines and bottlenecks without any problems in our simulator too.
Detailed information can be found in the Changelog below.
ATTENTION: This is a BETA Update. Please note that this version can cause technical problems and/or may cause instability of your computer system.
How to install the beta version of the update?
Quite easily:
In your Library, you click with the right mouse button on the entry of the "Tourist Bus Simulator"
In the drop-menu, you click on the entry "Properties"
In the window "Fernbus Simulator - Properties" you select the tab "BETAS"
In the field "Select the beta you would like to opt into:" select the entry "beta-"
Now you can close the window and the beta version of the update should download right away
After downloading the update you can start the Tourist Bus Simulator via the "PLAY" button
In the main menu should now be the corresponding version number of the beta version of the update and you can test the update

Some of you have already been asking when the next update for Tourist Bus Simulator will be ready. Update 21 for Fernbus Simulator has been already released last Friday. So, now we have the time to focus on the update of Tourist Bus Simulator.
And the BETA of update 4 for Tourist Bus Simulator is scheduled for public testing this week.
Update 4 for the Tourist Bus Simulator, as well as Update 21 of the Fernbus Simulator, focuses on optimizing performance and updating the driving physics of all buses.
We're currently recording a new Dev Diary which will be released along the coming weeks.
So, stay tuned and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel TML Studios TV and hit that notification bell if you want to know exactly when the next dev diary hits the channel.
In the meantime, you can write your guesses below what the Dev Diary is going to be about.
In the meantime, we have also revised the driving physics of the ComfortClasses.
Thanks to the feedback from our closed-beta testers, we're making a few changes to all of the rebuilt drive physics of the buses, but by and large, the new driving physics and improved performance are already convincing. So we look forward to the feedback from the entire community as soon as we release the next update to the public beta test.
The main focus of the upcoming update will be the optimization of performance. However, we're also updating the driving physics of all busses in the games, both Fernbus Simulator, and Tourist Bus Simulator.
We've already updated the MAN Lion's Coaches driving physics and now we've completed the update of the Neoplan Skyliner too.
For the next update of Tourist Bus Sim, there will also be new audio options. So, you can adjust the sound volume of the engine, the indicators and much more.
Anything missing in the new audio options? You can tell us in the comments below.
We thought we share some news bits with you guys as the next updates for Fernbus Sim and Tourist Bus Sim are taking a bit longer than expected - but hey, that's, unfortunately, the usual case if your digging for performance improvements, they're like rare nuggets of gold. So far we've been able to stabilize the overall performance and improve it slightly. We'll keep on digging until we find the motherload.
Anyway, we read the forums here on Steam and Facebook and know that some of you still aren't completely satisfied with the driving physics. That's why we're beginning to overhaul our driving physics vehicle by vehicle for the next update. Of course, we've started with the MAN Lion's Coach.
Here we go again! It's time for the annual STEAM Summer Sale and of course our products should not be missing. Save up to 80% off a wide range of reduced Aerosoft simulations!
