Our favorite season has once again come to Raven Brooks bringing with it the winds of change. Read on for more info on all the fresh and spooky content coming to Secret Neighbor in the Call of the Kraa Update - OUT NOW!

An ominous figure has been spotted in the Neighborhood. We don’t know everything yet, but what we do know is that its appearance is heralded by the sound of cacophonous clicks and croaks that let him sense movement, it appears to be able to cling to walls, and it's able to cover a truly terrifying amount of ground in a single leap.

Introducing, the Guest! - This class strikes fear into anyone in close proximity, leaps long distances with relative ease, can cling to walls, & can disarm players of their hard-won items with his uncanny scream! But all that jumping around can take its toll, so he may have to stop to catch his breath a bit more often than other Neighbor classes.

Can you take on this uninvited Guest, or will you be the next one to go simming?




From storms to sunny days, experience it all with the new randomized weather system!

Dress in layers and don't forget your umbrella, this entirely new weather system is waiting for you on your next login! We all know the weather can get pretty crazy in this town, in keeping with this each new match will have a randomized weather effect applied to it. We've even heard rumors of a rare sunny day in the forecast, lending a completely new look and feel to already familiar locations.




Who said the spooky season couldn’t involve any fun? Meet the newest Emote type - dances! Break it down in the lobby and show off your sweet macarena skills, or "Shh" to your heart's content, new emotes let you express yourself as well as communicate more effectively in-game. Find them in the Shop! 🕺

Emotes aren't the only new expressions coming with this update, the new proximity and field-of-view-based fear effect shows both on your screen as well as on your characters' faces.😱

Don't worry though, you'll begin to calm down once The Neighbor/Guest is out of your view for long enough.




Check out scream-worthy costumes in the Shop and spooky decor in-game. It looks like Mr. Peterson was preparing his house for Halloween before he was interrupted by an uninvited Guest.
Also, the Peterson house appears to have gotten more haunted since last year...somehow.
But don't go chasing after paranormal activity just yet! Gear up with a proper ghost-hunting outfit, and stop by the Seasonal Shop to grab some spooky new threads! 👻

What's new:

Secret Neighbor Steam has received a rather diminutive (and not at all unsettling) update!

Firstly, the emote wheel should now stop resetting itself every time you start it up, woo!
In addition to that, on login Steam players should start to see a familiar "face". 🎭

You may have noticed things look a little different around Raven Brooks this year. Is it just an unseasonably warm winter, that happens from time to time right? No! It appears there may be a nefarious plot at work here and the snow has gone missing. Not missing, stolen!

The only clue is a cryptic note with a strange symbol on the back. What could it mean? The sooner we track this person down, the sooner the snow will hopefully return to Raven Brooks in the New Year.

Grab your projectile weapons pumpkins! Our favorite holiday has come again to Raven Brooks and we are excited to announce the Secret Neighbor Paranormal Update is LIVE NOW on Steam! Check out the trailer below and lets dive in!



There is a rumor going around town that a ghastly specter has been sighted near Mr. Peterson's house, eyewitnesses report it's arrival is heralded by flickering lights and glowing blue ectoplasm.

Introducing: The Ghost Neighbor! His abilities include a spectral ghost transformation capable of flight and phasing through walls, and an ultimate ability that can temporarily disable every light within close proximity. Direct light keeps this apparition from transforming out of ghost form, so your flashlights are now more important than ever when trying to stay out of his ghostly grasp!



October has flown by and before you know it you're 4 days out from Halloween without a costume, oh no! But not to worry, we've got you covered! A new Scary Neighbor werewolf skin, New Ghost Neighbor Genie skin and a shambling hoard of zombie skins for the Neighborhood Rescue Squad will scare you up at least 3rd place in any costume contest!




Of course all maps are decked out in their Halloween finest, and you'll find no shortage of jack-o'-lanterns carved with care. Players will also note that most walls now sport a light switch in game. If you suddenly find yourself in the dark with the Neighbor in Ghost form and need to keep him from changing back, make a run for the nearest light switch! Steam players will also be treated to some new LE offerings, plus a brand new LE only brawl mode - Racing - to really put your creative skills to the test!

Has it really been two years already since Secret Neighbor first launched? Where has the time gone!!?? We wanted to take a moment to give a special shout out and thank-you to every single member of our community for being with us after all this time. Thank you for your feedback, thank you for playing our games, and thank you for hanging out and being awesome!
