In addition, to celebrate the launch of the Ice Roads Expansion - Alaskan Road Truckers is 20% off! So if you've been waiting to dive in, there's never been a better time than now:
It's been a few weeks since we launched Alaskan Road Truckers, and we decided to take a moment and look back at the road behind us and give you all a sneak peek at the road in front.
We've come a long way already, and we're not stopping here. In case you've missed some of our updates or want to know what we're working on right now - here we go!
The Road So Far...
Trucking Legends
Our most recent update was titled Trucking Legends. It launched last week and changed up some of the ways players can experience the game.
In addition to the standard mode, players are now able to select Casual and Legend options when starting a new game. These tweak the difficulty of the core Alaskan Road Trucker experience. Casual mode makes the game a little easier, with resources being consumed less quickly and weather being easier to manage. Legend mode, however, tests your trucking skills to the limit.
With harder missions, a tougher Winter start, and punishing weather, if you want to prove yourself out there in the harsh Alaskan Wilderness, this is the mode for you.
Patches, Patches, Patches!
Of course, we've not just added new content to the game. There's been a ton of patches released since launch all aimed at fixing and improving the issues that matter to you - our players. Your feedback and reports have helped us aim our efforts in the right direction, and we've come a long way.
That doesn't mean we're satisfied and sitting on our laurels. We are continually refining Alaskan Road Truckers, working on areas such as AI, controller issues, game-feel, optimization, and game balance. In the coming weeks and months you'll see many updates from us - all aimed at improving the core game experience.
Where We're Heading
Fancy Trucks and Looks
One thing we know is important is making your truck feel like it's yours. We've already released some new cosmetic options for trucks and of course, there's the Mother Truckers Edition DLC but we're also looking at making more.
Being a badass is part of the trucker experience and our next set of cosmetics will reflect that, with a rough 'n' ready look that'll show off your rugged style in spades.
Ice Roads are Coming
The big update that we're focusing on right now will add more depth to the game, as well as more challenge. We spoke about it before in our Roadmap but we're getting closer and closer to unveiling the Ice Roads Expansion for Alaskan Road Truckers.
This expansion will put you and your truck on the edge of danger as you fight for survival against the harshest of elements. Only the toughest, bravest, and most skilled truckers will be able to succeed in these brand-new missions. With all new looks, routes, and terrain to conquer - this will take Alaskan Road Truckers to the next level.
And more...
Our plans don't end there, we're working on more content, more ideas, and more everything. From launching on console to further expansions and DLC, we've got big plans, and we can't wait to take you along for the ride!
Our journey through Steam Autumn Sale ends in 24hrs, and so do a 10% discount on Alaskan Road Truckers. So mark your calendars and don't miss out on the opportunity to experience the ultimate trucking challenge at a special discounted price!

We've just launched a brand new update for Alaskan Road Truckers. One of the key pieces of feedback has been about customizing your trucker journey, being able to choose a little more and play the game your way.
This update aims to address that. That's why we're inviting you to...
Become a Trucking Legend!
The Trucking Legends Update will give you three options to choose from when you start a new game. In addition to the standard balanced normal mode, you'll also have Casual and Legend options to choose from.
In Casual mode you'll experience an easier time when delivering, perfect if you just want to sit back and get on with trucking. Resources will deplete less fast, the weather will be less punishing - overall it'll be a kinder expeirence.
If you want to test your skills, however, you can choose the new Legend mode. Here you'll start in the depths of winter. Weather will be harder to deal with, missions will be tougher. The game will be much harder to play, and you'll have to fight for survival to become a true Trucking Legend.

Please remember to leave us a review - everything helps us raise the visibility of our game and visibility equates to a better chance for a success. We've got tons of plans for Alaskan Road Truckers but we can't get there without your help.
A new game from one of our publishers has just launched. Beyond Sunset is a cyberpunk pixel carnage FPS developed by Vaporware and published by Movie Games.
The game, inspired by classics like Doom and Deus Ex, masterfully mixes frantic combat with strong RPG elements. There’s shooting, puzzles, swinging your katana around and a lot of immsersive story to discover.
Beyond Sunset is now out in Early Access with a 10% release discount. If you like retro shooters, the release is accompanied by the Ultimate Retro Shooter Sale, where you can find more great games like this one.
We’ve had a busy time since the launch of Alaskan Road Truckers. With nine patches for our game since launch (and more incoming!) we thought it’d be a great time to talk to you all about what our plans are for Alaskan Road Truckers and how we’ll be supporting the game into the future.
Alaskan Road Truckers - The Goal
We want to make the best trucker game ever made, where you live, breathe, and survive as a trucker in one of the most punishing environments on the planet. That’s been our goal since day one and it still is today.
It’s fair to say that we haven’t hit that goal yet. Alaskan Road Truckers is a game we’re incredibly proud of, but we know it still needs work. Technical issues, bugs, and quality of life issues have overshadowed the wonderful experience we’ve put in the core of Alaskan Road Truckers, and we recognize that this has caused disappointment for some.
We want you to know that we hear you. We know that for some players the issues affecting Alaskan Road Truckers has meant they have been unable to enjoy the game, and this is why we have been introducing rapid fixes to help those players get in the game and start trucking. Every patch has improved the game, with the core experience now being more accessible, key bugs are fixed, and for most the game should be more playable.
Of course, we have lots of work still to do, and there are key areas we will be focusing on as we continue to support Alaskan Road Truckers through the rest of 2023 - and beyond.
Post-Release Patch Plan
As mentioned above, we have been working on rapid patches for the most pressing issues. Now, we’re moving into a separate phase of our support plan, where we’ll be reducing the amount of patches we release and focusing on larger updates which will resolve more issues, to provide a more stable Alaskan Road Truckers experience. The issues we’re working on are bigger issues, ones that will take more time to resolve, and for a small team this means we’ll have to slow down a little bit to make sure we get these patches done right.
The areas we’re focusing on at the moment are:
AI Tweaks and Improvements
Optimization and Performance Enhancements
Controller / Steering Wheel Improvements
These are large things for us to tackle but we are making a commitment to get these issues ironed out and make sure that Alaskan Road Truckers is brought up to a technical level we are happy with. We cannot say that these will be fixed in one patch, or even two, but incremental improvements will be made and we are putting our focus on resolving these key areas sooner rather than later.
This, of course, doesn’t mean we are neglecting other bug reports and issues reported to us. As we continue to update and patch our game, we’ll be fixing other issues alongside working on the bigger things, you’ll be able to see what we’re fixing in each set of patch notes.
In addition to the above, we are working to get the console version of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S complete and ready for release as soon as possible. We will have news to share about this very soon.
We will also be adhering to our content roadmap. So while we will be working on these issues, we will also be producing content and updates that will expand and deepen the core Alaskan Road Truckers experience. Look out for more news on these updates soon!
Update Testing
One of the points we’ve made continuously throughout development of Alaskan Road Truckers is that we haven’t made this game alone. Now the game is out in the world; this is still true.
Your bug reports, issue reports, reviews, and technical reports have helped us to laser focus our work on the things that really matter to the people who matter - you. That’s why we’re asking for your help again, this time in helping us test upcoming updates.
If you’re interested in helping us test updates, please head over to our Discord server where you can find details of how to opt in to the beta branch of the game as well as where you can post any issues you encounter. We made the decision to run this initiative using our Discord server as a central hub as it allows us to monitor + track issues, and respond to feedback in real-time, helping us to better work on any issues that may crop up.
Thank you to everyone who takes part in this - we do test our own patches, but we are a small team so more hands on the testing wheel means more stable patches.
We’ve got a long road ahead of us and we hope you’ll continue to join us on it. See you out there, truckers!
It's patch time! Get your hands on the latest update for Alaskan Road Truckers - we're continuing to fix bugs, solve issues, and make the game better.
Here's what's new in today's patch:
Patch Notes
Corrected navigation to all logistic locations south of the starting location.
Tweaked the deer near the starting location.
Added Halloween mini icons to Customization Parts and Stickers.
Small optimization tweaks.
Prevented a scenario where cancelling an order could result in a crash.
Cancelling an order now will not remove backup saves.
We're also working on dramatically improving stability and reduce the occurance of bugs cropping up in future updates. In order to help us with this process, we're asking the community to...
Test Updates
We want to make sure that when Alaskan Road Truckers gets an update, the update is 100% ready for release. We do our own testing internally but we would like to make sure that when we have a bigger update in mind, we get as many hands behind the testing wheel as possible.
Before we go, why not check out the Truck or Treat trailer we've put together to celebrate our Halloween event? From new decals to spooky surprises, our Truck or Treat event is running right NOW!
