It's the day before Christmas (at least here in the Nordics, we're a bit strange and celebrates on the 24th instead of the 25th) but work doesn't stop. We deployed Alpha 24.0 a few days ago and it inevitably brought some issue with it that we needed to fix, mostly regarding contract generation. This is because we got a little bit too exited with starting work on the new contract system (under the hood) which caused some of the older parts to fail. We've also sorted out some other minor glitches. 24.1 was deployed on the experimental branch and a hot fix for that was issued as well, resulting in 24.1-1 now being transitioned to the default branch.
See below patch notes for what's been fixed and happy holidays!
Release notes - Airport CEO - Version Alpha 24.1
Improvement
ACEO-2986] - Implement new airport information screens
Bug
ACEO-2630] - Unable to build roads on section where foundation where previously deleted

Alpha 24 has now been deployed on the default branch and this is quite a big change. You can read more about it in tonight's development blog but in short Alpha 24 is centered around improving and bringing in new content.
Please take note of the following changes that are relevant for your current default builds:
Airlines does not specify contract class (star rating) anymore! This is preparations for the new contract system that we will present below.
Push back vehicle is now required for medium stand operation. Make sure you purchase enough push back trucks for your airport.
With the implementation of many new furniture and an updated variations system, both plants and gate seating will load as the default object (single row gate seating and small plant). The solution is to rebuild the object and save the world to store the correct variation.
Runway operation has been updated and the following changes are required by players on the default branch. You might see aircraft warning that they cannot find a runway so it important to check below list:
The desired allowed aircraft types must be set in the runway panel. Once this is set, save the game to store your settings.
Medium aircraft now require either asphalt or concrete runway foundation to land/take-off.
Medium aircraft now require at least 800 meters (or 2625 feet) of runway length.
We will be watching your incoming reports and will try to assist you with any stability issues that this change might bring. Please be advised that hotfixes for the default branch may arrive as we get incoming bug reports.
Here's the complete change log and track record of the development Alpha 24 (with redundant per-experimental version update bug fixes).
ACEO-2315] - Baggage contents and security threat is not correctly correlated
ACEO-2332] - Path failed icon for baggage is displayed in massive size on baggage claim areas
ACEO-2361] - Passengers do not distribute as expected when queueing for different queueable objects such as security check-points and transit structures
ACEO-2377] - Aircraft runway overshoots fixed with length requirements
ACEO-2395] - Boarding desk can randomly become closed
ACEO-2413] - Baggage path finding not working fully on all check-in desk outlets in all directions
ACEO-2457] - Cannot build delivery site or construction site when no funds
ACEO-2486] - Aircraft spawn despite stand being occupied (creating pile at the end of the runway)
ACEO-2488] - Cart reset issue can cause stack overflow exception on reusage
ACEO-2519] - Bus stop removal can cause passenger and bus deadlock
ACEO-2540] - Delivery system can become out of sync when orders that are not assigned to a delivery are lost with a leaving delivery truck

Each Monday... well, each week at least, the ACEO team releases a new blog post which discusses the achieved development milestones over the previous week.
The experimental branch has just been updated with Alpha 23.6. We're currently working on making it stabled and deploying it to the default branch as Alpha 24 and you can read more about this in the devlog! :)

The Conveyor Belt System Pack (and more), as a part of 23.5, has now been deployed on the experimental branch. Check it out! Patch notes for 23.5 can be found here.
