After nearly a YEAR since we first put ray tracing features into the game, we're almost ready for FULL LAUNCH thanks to our friends at Nvidia.

Before you hop in, we highly recommend you grab the latest drivers from the GeForce website!

But not before we get one more round of feedback and testing from YOU.

So what can you expect?!

Accurate enemy shadows



Fully accurate reflections



Pixel perfect geometry shadows



New features like LIGHT BOOST



And REFLECTION BOOST!

So what do we want you to test?

1. Can you get the game to CRASH?! If so, how! Reproduce those steps and send them to us!
   
   
2. Are there any areas where you get MEGA performance drops? Not normal perf drops due to an abundance of lights and shadows and enemies (that will happen) but places where performance just seems... WRONG.
   
   
3. New BUGS! Do you get any issues with levels or enemies that aren't present in the base game? Let us know so we can fix them!

You can get on the RTX Beta testing branch by selecting it from the BETAS tab in game properties!

The Lost Falls level, once only used as a demonstration for RTX features, is now available to all!

You can find this brand new level in the QUEST selection menu:



In addition to this, we've made some other very big changes with this new update including an upgrade to Unreal Engine 4.24.3, some new cheats, RTX beta branch improvements and a long awaited change to make weapon speed 'FPS independent' - meaning that higher frame rates will no longer mean slower weapons!

You can now test RTX implementation in the brand new AMID EVIL RTX Test Level called... The Lost Falls. (you can also play this level without RTX)




As well as... THE FULL GAME. (Type AELEON to get back to the full game levels)
