LOGistICAL 3: Earth Map Updates
All the industries are already placed and accessible. There are a few players who are getting access to the last of them. The "Super Tech" ones are pretty hard to get.

For development, its now just a matter of tidying up all those little rail bits that don't connect to the main lines, and any other place that isn't accessible... and of course making the game run and play better.



Some players are starting to complete some major sections, like "All Towns in Germany".
Well done and feel free to brag about these huge accomplishments on the Discord brag channel (see link at the bottom of the page).
We enjoy seeing your brags, big or small. If you feel good about it, let us know.

Wisconsin Access Puzzle
The puzzle to unlock Wisconsin has had some issues.
When you have access to Wisconsin by rail, you should be able to get access to road once you have completed 3 of the required resources (standard Airport/Airfield function).

This connection should show something (don't want to give too much away) that will allow you to continue playing with a different transport in that area. You made it through. That is the next puzzle.
For some players this "something" wasn't showing and therefore the puzzle stopped there.

To make it work now, fill another resource and the puzzle should complete.

Post in the LOGistICAL forum or Discord if you are still having issues at this point. It is a long difficult puzzle, and you are getting so close to the end.

Industry View Update
The "Industry" view and the "Industry Buying" view have been updated to include paging, rather than shrinking the icons.

As many icons that can fit on the page, do. The rest will be on next/previous pages with "Paging" icons at the top of the popup.



Multi-Nav
The multi-nav tool has undergone a major patch to sort out various issues.

These patches should make using them easier as a "background" tool, allowing you to work on your other vehicles as it completes its shedule.

- Clicking a town when in Multi-Nav no longer cancels any current multi-navs.
- Trucks stop once they become empty, instead of continuing to follow the full trucks.
- When dragging a non multi-nav vehicle, the cargo went blank when the background multi-nav vehicles completed a town/business. Fixed.
- Trucks arriving late to the source industry were not getting full load if the first town/business was completed. Fixed.

This should lead to some other multi-nav updates to make the process even better. More about that as it happens.

Languages
Another big thanks to those that are helping with the languages.
There are more "human" updates in this version covering many of the languages.
I have used machine translation in order to get the bulk of the work done, so it now a much easier process to tidy up any misinterpretations.

LOGistICAL 3: Earth Updates
LE adds new content including the Philippines and Papua New Guinea.

There are also many road and rail modifications to make the game run better.

Steam Achievements
Each region (country) within L3 now has incremental achievements for both the towns and businesses.
Each has one for 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000 and 15000.
A nice incentive to get that bit further in each region and suddenly they will all be finished.
Some players are going for the 5 in each region.

Broken Roads
A new "helper" to identify broken roads is available.
It is on by default but can be turned off by clicking the "B" button on the money panel.
When on (purple button), arrows will point to all the "found" broken roads that aren't yet fixed within the currently selected region.
Once you have completed 90% of the broken roads within the region, it will also show "un-found" broken roads within that region.

Languages

Thanks to the great efforts of a dedicated bunch of awesome players, there is now a lot more translation content.

I have also Google translated large text area that are being checked and corrected.

Updated Launcher
The launcher has been modified so that it will stay in the same window if you are only playing a single game.

An extra button has been added next to each module to allow a "New Window" if you are playing multiple modules at once.

Full Screen Mode
With the launcher update, full screen mode is now functional again.

There is still an issue when playing multiple modules at once from the same launcher.

Super Tech Industries
All industries are now accessible within the game if you have progressed enough.

There is now a collection of Super-Tech industries. I won't spoil what they are, but you should find them fairly interesting.

Steam Achievements
There are new Steam achievements that reward you for your progression through the game.

There are achievements for completing all towns and businesses (one of each) for each region.
For large regions there are progressive achievements for 5, 10 ,20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000 and 15000 towns or businesses.

There are a lot of data to input, so this is still a work in progress.

Faster Load for Large Saves
The load saved game routine has been updated. There were issues when you have a huge amount of towns and businesses complete.

I won't say how much faster as it embarrassing how slow it was. I just didn't know, as in development mode I don't process data to Steam Achievements or the High Score tables. It was always fast for me.

... but anyway, most players with tens of thousands of completed towns and businesses are loading their save games in less than a minute.

I have more work that I have been doing in this area, including reducing the size of the save files and faster saving.

If you are getting the annoying lag when the game saves, you can increase the amount of time between saves in the "Settings" section (top left button on screen).

High Score Tables
The high score tables have been getting huge with over 8 million entries.
Certain summary queries have been taking a long time and putting a strain on the servers.

I have done a huge clean-up (without losing any data) and have also created some routines for generating complex queries periodically.

Now all the Module high scores and Grand Total high scores run from a periodically generated table.
This is set to refresh every hour on the hour (which should be reduced to 15 minutes soon).

The scheduliser is still in development, so I am manually updating them at the moment, so you may find periods of no updates until I get this complete.

This build is to tidy up a few odds and ends as well as adding some updated graphics and a few smaller helpful features.



Depot Flags
The depots now have different coloured flags on the map, so you can have a good idea on what they sell.
Trucks = Green
Trains = Purple
Ships = Blue
Planes = Yellow

Industry Discovery
Prior to this build, when industries were discovered, you were given a popup to let you know that there was a new cargo available.

This popup is now an "Industry Discovery".
This will inform you that you have found an industry, where it is at, and what inputs and outputs it has.
This is for all discovered industries, including the same types you may have discovered somewhere else.

LOGistICAL: Earth and LOGistICAL: Vaccine Steam Achievements
LOGistICAL: Earth has passed the Steam detection metrics to determine that it is a "legitimate" game.

Explanation: Some time ago there was an inundation of new releases on Steam that exploited what games really were and how Steam Achievements were rewarded. As there were also so many games being released it was near impossible for Steam to manually examine each of them. Steam created an automated method of determination so that every new game is limited for a period until some metrics are reached. I don't know what these metrics are, so don't ask.
LOGistICAL: Earth has now passed these metrics and will now show up as your "favourite" game (if so tagged), and all the rewards you get in LOGistICAL: Earth will show up in your statistics.
LOGistICAL 2 long ago passed these metrics.
LOGistICAL was created before these metrics were introduced.

What to expect: Part the restrictions that were placed was that only 100 Achievements could be created. This limit is now much higher at 5,000.
LOGistICAL: Earth is huge, so there will be a few more achievements added.
Already I have added achievements for completing all the "puzzles" within the game.
Next there will be achievements for completing each of the regions (250).
There will be achievements for playing and completing LOGistICAL: Vaccine.
This makes around 750 achievements so far.
Others achievements will be added over time to take into account the continuing list of "group" contracts and also some to break the huge countries into smaller goals.

I am open to other ideas and suggestions and hope that soon, one day some players will get 100%.

LOGistICAL: Vaccine
Just a reminder that LOGistICAL: Vaccine is free to all LOGistICAL owners and is available from either LOGistICAL 3: Earth or the LOGistICAL 3: Earth (demo).

The latest patch ensures that LOGistICAL 3: Vaccine is now fully completeable. Congratulations to @Rayanth who has made it to 100%.

Languages
Under the skin of LOGistICAL 3: Earth lies 8 languages (English, Dutch, Russian, German, French, Italian, Finnish and Spanish).
These are the language translations bought forward from LOGistICAL and LOGistICAL 2 that have been contributed by a group of wonderful LOGistICAL players that have given their time to make the game even better.
Thank you again guys so much for your contributions. It has been wonderful.

The current default language is English.
You can currently change the language by pressing "cntrl-L".
This interface will be updated soon to have the language popup the very first time you play the game with a button to change it later.

I am now looking for players that wish to contribute some time to translate new content into their own languages.
The process will be done via Google Sheets which I am currently setting up now.
As a lot has already been done, this will be an addition to what is already there.

This is a "love" job though contributions often see gifted games. A good opportunity for those that haven't saved enough pennies for L:E.

Multi-Nav News
Multi-nav is a gizmo that you can buy for all your vehicles.
With a multi-nav gizmo installed you can queue your vehicles destinations up and complete many quickly.

There is also way to make multi-nav go even further.
This is best done with lots of trucks at once, but can also be done with a single truck.

Once a multi-nav process has completed and all the trucks are empty, and you still have a bunch of towns/businesses still in the multi-nav queue, you can continue the process by:

- Select a truck or group of trucks that each have a multi-nav gizmo
- Drag from an industry output on a town popup to start multi-nav town/bus selection
- Click on many towns/bus until you have over 100% on the drag amount (but don't click on any towns/bus that are too high eg. 200t).
- I usually get mine up to about 200%-400%.
- Click the "Done" to set the trucks off.
- They finish and the extra towns/bus of the multi-nav are still highlighted.
- Next, click on the "destination" (the lower one) of one of those trucks in the truck list.
- Drag from the town popups same resource that was used, to the source industry on the map.
- The trucks go to that source town, back to the destination and then continue to follow the multi-nav path.

Note: You don't have to use the same source location as the original multi-nav setup.
Note: This works on large businesses as well, but it is best on many small businesses.
Note: To purchase a multi-nav gizmo from any depot, you firstly have to complete regions.

LOGistICAL 3: Vaccine (Xmas 2020) is Sacada's 2020 gift to all LOGistICAL owners.

Its 2020 and the Earth is sick... very sick... and vaccines are almost ready. Vaccines will require transport throughout the entire world, and LOGistICAL is a great place to practice on.

Beginning with the 9 WHO vaccine companies (plus Russia) you are to distribute the vaccine to all the regional and local distribution centres in every country around the world.
Of course it isn't that easy. You will also have to transport ingredients into the vaccine centres to make the vaccine, and also upgrade the vaccine industries, and then transport inputs to those industries and upgrades for them as well, and then for those inputs as well... etc, etc. You know how it is.

Oh, and lots of the vaccines require a lot of refrigeration, so you will have to transport to construct that as well as deliver them to many distribution centres.

LOGistICAL: Vaccine is a small (large) LOGistICAL game with over 5,000 businesses that each are all quite small (generally less than 50t requirement), and they are all businesses.

Here is a summary:
- 5,000+ smallish businesses to complete
- All roads are visible
- No roads require repair nor upgrade
- No consumption
- No industry building
- Some quarantines, but not a large quantity of them
- Large trucks can drive anywhere (except ferry routes)

Multi-Navigation
In case you missed it in an older post, LOGistICAL: Earth now has Multi-Navigation. Here is a brief summary from a past news article...

Gizmos are now available for create multiple routes stops in a single navigation.

- Complete any region to gain access to a Multi-Nav gizmo.
- Purchase gizmos at any vehicle depot once your vehicle is parked there.
- Select your vehicle and drag an output resource from an industry.
- Instead of a single drop to a town or business, you can continue selecting destinations.
- Check the dragged vehicle for the percentage queued. Once over 100% the truck will stop.
- Click the "Done" button to set the multi-nav in motion.
- Multi-trucks work with multi-nav

Gizmos are now available for create multiple routes stops in a single navigation.

- Complete any region to gain access to a Multi-Nav gizmo.
- Purchase gizmos at any vehicle depot once your vehicle is parked there.
- Select your vehicle and drag an output resource from an industry.
- Instead of a single drop to a town or business, you can continue selecting destinations.
- Check the dragged vehicle for the percentage queued. Once over 100% the truck will stop.
- Click the "Done" button to set the multi-nav in motion.
- Multi-trucks work with multi-nav

Vehicle Filters

You can now filter the vehicle list by vehicle type. Click a filter button to turn them on/off
