Big news!
First off, the My time at Portia updates are available now!!

Major Change list:
-New Quests after the main story have been added involving Tody, Higgins, Huss & Tuss, and more…
-A new NPC – Mason will be coming to live in Portia with his own quests and stories to tell. He also arrives after the main story has been completed.
- Fixed the issue where the Mint Under the Sun mission may cause the game to black screen and freeze.
-Fixed the issue of freezing after the dialogue in the Alice Book Fair plot.

Second, regarding the port to console; Pingle studio is hard at work, and they expect to have the consoles up to date with the PC version hopefully by the end of the year!

NOTE: We WILL continue to work on the fixes and updates of My Time at Portia across all platforms until we have exhausted every avenue and utilized every available resource.

Pathea Games are excited to officially announce that the sequel to My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock is now in development!

Pathea Games just launched a Kickstarter today to fund the development efforts, check it out for more details and the official trailer!

Some (Already) Frequently Asked Questions:
(tl;dr: Sandrock will have multiplayer!)

What you can expect to see is a game with a similar vision, made by a much more experienced dev team, with a much greater potential for expansion.

We had a lot of requests to add multiplayer features in to My Time At Portia, but sadly the game’s framework was not built for multiplayer, and in order to make it work, we’d have to start from the ground up. When we were planning the Sandrock DLC, we realized that with our same engine, the new map would just be more of the same; it wasn’t really exciting for us, and we didn’t think the players would like it either.

Once we made the shift from DLC to making a new game, the development process has all been done with the future in mind.

We want Sandrock to be a highly polished game; with beautiful art and music, and the characters will be more in depth than before. We’re aiming to incorporate what people liked about Portia as well as adding plenty of new stuff to make things feel fresh!



Overall, we do have the funding to finish the game in a timely and fully realized manner. As a small studio, we wanted to run this Kickstarter because there are a couple of features that we really want to do well this time around, and any extra funding would go a long way to ensure that.

Multiplayer is hard to do well, and we want to create a multiplayer mode that people would be excited to bring their friends in to play. To do that, we’ll need to hire more programmers, designers and artists to specifically craft that experience, and that’ll significantly increase the budget.



We’ll begin beta testing in January (keys will be available through Kickstarter) with release into Steam Early Access in March 2021. We’re then aiming to release the full game in Spring 2022.

The town of Portia will soon be a bit more lively! In addition to language support updates and new voiceovers, in the July update, new friendship and relationship quests for Toby, Paulie, Alice, and the Hulu Brothers will be added!

The Portia Times has been working around the clock to make up for lost time, and lost stories; returning players will find that Mei and Erwa have posted articles on the news board related to significant past events, and new players will find now that all the articles come out right on time. What a scoop!

Coming in Fall of 2020, players will be able to experience an epilogue of events taking place after the main story. It all begins with a mysterious visitor from the nearby city of Sandrock who himself has many stories to tell, and the direction things take may surprise you. Many questions will be answered: “What has become of Tody?” “Where do the Huss and Tuss brothers live?” “What is Musa’s next project after the harbor?” These and many more will be answered.

Finally, and perhaps most significantly, players will have a chance to at last end their bitter rivalry with resident Builder extraordinaire: Higgins… for better or for worse…
