Overclockers UK’s PC shop and forum plays host to a huge community of PC hardware enthusiasts, and is the official HQ of world champion overclocker 8Pack.

We’ve been quietly working alongside NZXT to bring you a brand new workshop DLC, and we’re excited to release it today.
NZXT Workshop DLC
A brand new workshop space, created in collaboration with the NZXT design team and packed full of NZXT products and swag. This crisp, minimal space is a must for NZXT fans, or anyone who just digs the colour purple.
Rejoice, for v1.6 is here – with over 50 new parts, including graphics cards from Republic of Gamers, AORUS and ZOTAC, motherboards from AORUS and MSI, and cases from SilverStone, CORSAIR and Lian Li.
New partner – Open Benchtable
Open Benchtable's OBT-BC1 case is beautifully machined from solid aluminium, and features innovative features like screwless motherboard mounting, tool-less thumbscrews and a flat-folding design. This benchtable chassis is perfect for overclockers who are always swapping out parts, and also provides a different and striking look for builders who want to show off the beauty of their PC's internals.

To celebrate the festive season, we've decorated the original workshop with a cosy holiday theme, and added a jazzy seasonal track to the radio player. If it all gets too much, you can toggle back to the original theme via the xmas tree on top of the toolbox on your main desk.
Steam Workshop support for PC wallpapers
You can now upload and share wallpapers to Steam workshop. Open the wallpaper app on any PC to check out this new functionality. Wallpapers at 16:9 aspect ratio will fit the in-game PC's desktop.

ASRock has been high on the requested partner list for quite some time now, so we’re hugely pleased to be adding a wide range of their motherboards in this update – alongside a selection of their GPUs.
Colorful is one of the largest hardware manufacturers in China, and we’re excited to have a range of their GPUs and motherboards now available for use in the game.
HyperX is another much-requested partner to our line-up, and from this update you’ll be able to equip various new peripherals, RAM and even an RGB SSD!
Build v1.5 Highlights
Halloween Decorations!
To celebrate the spooky season of Halloween we’ve given the original workshop a suitably eerie set of decorations to get you into the spirit of things... If you don’t feel in the mood for these decorations, you can toggle back to the original version via the pumpkin on top of the toolbox on your main desk.
PC Building Simulator has infiltrated some other platforms this month but we have also been working on a whole bunch of new things for the PC version that is now available in this update!
Firstly, however, we are very pleased to welcome 3 brand-new partners to the PC Building Simulator family:
Alphacool has been a staple request from players since we started including custom water cooling parts in the game, it is a pleasure to finally bring their product ranges to the game now and in the future.
FSP’s inclusion to the game means we now have some of their newest and most sought-after cases and PSUs included for you to build with.
Lian Li is another partner that has been hotly requested by players for a long time now, from today you will have the fantastic LANCOOL ONE Digital and O11 Dynamic to create your next builds in.
This is something that has been requested for a long time now and something we have really wanted to support for longer so it is great to finally provide players with the option to upload an image from their real-world PC to use on the desktop of their virtual one!

What’s Next?
We have been working hard to get even more new partners included, we can’t wait to unveil these new partners and add their hardware to the game in the future!
This update lays the groundwork for further workstation customisation options by allowing you to swap the monitors used on the benches. With some cosmetic swaps in place now, we are working with partners to bring more screens, mice, keyboards etc. to the game in future updates.
Now when you reach level 30, you have the option to purchase these prestigious gold peripherals to celebrate your hard-earned experience level!
Along with new parts, this update also includes a whole host of bug fixes and some slight balance tweaks to the career mode.

Swapping Monitors
To further increase workspace customization following the addition of peripherals in the last update we have now added the initial support for swapping monitors, starting with a selection of coloured DFL models to allow for some further coloured coordination to setups. Please also be aware that we will be soon disabling the old Career branch on Steam that contains a very out of date version of the career mode. If you are for some reason still using this old version please make plans to switch to the latest version to ensure you get all the latest updates to the game. This old legacy branch will be switched off in the coming weeks.
The team has been busy making a lot of changes to PC Building Simulator in order to be able to add the ability to swap peripherals such as keyboards and mice along with improving other various bits and pieces (some more visible than others) to make the game a bit more polished.

Swapping Peripherals
Support for swapping peripherals is now live! In this update, we are kicking off with a wide range of Razer products which you can use to further customise your workbenches with. The items you can swap are:

Please Note: Large (extended) mouse mats and headsets are currently only available to swap on your main office desk. With this support now complete, we will add new peripherals in future updates.
Workshop Makeover
In order to enable the ability to swap more items on workbenches we had to make some major changes to the current environment we all know and love(??). So we decided this was a good opportunity to rebuild it to support these kinds of changes properly. The overall layout and design have been kept but various cosmetic and functional improvements have been made. For example, there is now an extra light switch near the door!
Brand New Razer Workshop DLC
In addition to the remade workshop, we have collaborated with Razer to create a brand-new workshop themed around all things Razer. This new space brings a fresh, open layout for you to run your PC business in and once purchased you will be able to switch between either workshop as much as you like in either Career or Free Build modes.
New Headsets: Razer Thresher (6), Razer Kraken Pro V2 (9) and Razer Nari Ultimate (11).
Replaced old workshop scene with a new version to allow support for swapping peripherals.
Added the ability to swap Keyboards, Mice, Mouse Mats and Headsets in both Career and Free Build modes.
Peripherals unlock in Career mode from level 5 onwards, there is a new shop app that can be purchased to order them.
