We're proud to say that House Flipper is created in collaboration with our players, you know? You guys are always sharing your ideas with us, and we're doing our best to make them happen.



This time we decided to take it one step further - you guys will get a chance to work with our team on creating items for House Flipper. We'll create 3D content based on your descriptions, but there's more to that! Your job will be to name said items; how cool is that?

Unfortunately, we won't be able to create all the items from your suggestions, which is why we'll pick three people to take part in creating the upcoming update. All you have to do is participate in the giveaway - here's the link:

The snow has already fallen, the festive season is just around the corner, and we have something truly special this year.

I know it's been a while since our development update, but we're back! Last time you've seen a lot of new features and, most importantly, our new trailer. By any chance, If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it HERE ⬅️

However, first things first. We'd love to thank you for your comments under the last devlog. They're much appreciated, and we're constantly checking and analyzing them. We'd love to hear more from you again, so the comment section is yours.

Let's not waste more time and begin our journey through the fresh news!


Guys, we can't hide it anymore. There's a job to be done! Get ready for work with the new house we've prepared for you. Clinch the deal and help us complete the renovation. I can't say more, but a little bird told me that a forest ranger is involved.




Let me share some arcane behind-the-scenes knowledge with you now. One does not simply walk into our enviro. That's why I've smuggled out the top-secret footage of a dev hiking through it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance for you to see how beautiful it is out there. Join me on this little journey. Enjoy the view, and let us know how you like it.




I hope you're not afraid of heights because we're working on something that can change your point of view. In our minds, there was one idea: we can't wait to see how creative you get with this tool! Ladies and gents, we'd love to present a flying drone with photo-shooting ability! Harvest your creativity, and use it to take some pictures.




After you end your creative photography, you can place the fruit of your labor wherever you want! You'll find it in your gallery.



Okay, folks. It is a little unexpected, but we've come up with an idea you might like to see. We still consider if we want to implement it into the game, but before that, we've wanted to know your opinion. I've seen a lot of comments that ladders are too clunky, slow, and simply do not give the hard-working flipper a good time. In a stroke of genius the idea for a grappling hook came at us with its fast-as-light awesomeness! If we add it to the game, you'll be able to move freely like never before.



On your farm, you will have cows, chickens, and even pigs! That's right, we're bringing you all these classic farm animals, like Old McDonald once said: Ee i ee i o.
As a good farmer, you'll need to take care of your animals. That's why we thought it would be awesome if you could make them happy. Just take a look at that piggy, Oink! 🤩




Let the Flippers flip the floors. Let the Flippers flip the walls.
They connect at a 90-degree angle. One does not function without the other. Floors and walls are friends forever. That's why we've prepared numerous variations of them for those who want to change their houses from top to bottom. Keep in mind that it's just a tiny taste of things to come!



Ahhh, this development update is slowly coming to an end. Last but not least, we'd love to share one extra thing. Long awaited gradient set is coming! For all those who love to paint, we've got a sneak peek at our beautiful new paints. My favorite is blue, or maybe green. I don't know. It's difficult to pick favorites from amongst your own children! Can you choose your fav? Remember that it's not the whole set; there is more to come!




Before we end, we've got pretty cool news for ya! The premiere of House Flipper Pets VR is set! Be ready in 15TH OF DECEMBER to pet your virtual animals, flip the houses in multiplayer mode, and much more!

We’re thrilled to announce that our first ever House Flipper Day is happening on 15th of December! It’s going to be a regular thing, happening once a year, so make sure you remember that around that time next year!



We have some surprises for you - We don’t want to spoil them just yet, so let me start by announcing our special developer stream - we’ll be playing the upcoming Xmas Update, as well as discussing some new games from Frozen Way. And for those of you who will stay until the very end, we might shed some light on a BIG SURPRISE happening later this month. As every year, Autumn once again fades in like a softly sung hymn. This cozy period between the spooky season and Christmas time brings not only some fancy discounts but also the chance to nominate your favorite games in this year's Steam Awards event!

Hey Flippers!
It's the spOoOoky season again, and as always, we couldn't just skip our annual update this year! 🎃



For us, this time is about celebrating the Day of the Dead, and Dia de los Muertos is one of the most important festivals in Mexican culture.
Our team isn't Mexican, and so as outsiders, when we started working on this update, we've only seen it as a beautiful and unique way of paying respects to the dead. And sure, that's correct, but there's so much more to it! We're all happy to say that by creating this content, our team got to better understand the meaning behind the Mexican Day of the Dead. We encourage you to read about it as well - you won't regret it!



Also, for those of you, who're after even more spookiness, we've added an additional house this year, with a bit different, more of a gaming inspiration... get in the game and guess what this inspiration is! 👻


And here are a couple of changes you can expect to see in the game today:

• A new Dia de Los Muertos-themed job.
  
• A new, totally normal house. We promise you a pleasant flipping experience.
  
• New seasonal items, including Dia de Los Muertos figurines, cat o'lanterns, rugs, and leaves.
  
• A new Bessie plushie. 👀
  
• If anyone is offering you balloons from under your mat, please ignore them.

Honestly, I have no idea how to start this announcement, as the excitement is simply waaay too much!
This is the first one that you're going to see on the House Flipper 2 Steam page, so feel free to find yourself a nice comfortable spot, and join us on this long-awaited presentation of the game.

Today we can finally shed some light on a title that is really something extraordinary for everyone here at Frozen District, and hopefully for all the House Flipper fans scattered around the globe.
The first House Flipper 2 trailer just went live, and even though it is showcasing a very early, pre-alpha version of the game, there's definitely a lot to be excited about.

We would like to welcome you, to the new era of flipping!



Now... that's not all!
You probably know how at Frozen District, we always emphasize the fact that essentially, the community of House Flipper is kind of a fuel for us, the developers of the game. A playerbase that shows not only incredible amounts of passion for the game but also provides new ideas, suggestions, and feedback, is just golden! We always knew that listening to the voice of our community is a step toward the right direction... and look how far we've come! We're so proud, not only of ourselves but also proud of all the Flippers who's been with us on this remarkable journey.

Once the dust settles, let’s proceed. It’s been a little over a month since the last House Flipper Farm DLC – development update, so we’d like to thank you for your feedback, opinions, and warm words under the latest devlog. Now’s the time to jump into the news section.

WHAT’S NEW?

Today, we’d like to present some of our work in progress. From enviro, through the minimap, new mechanic, new animation, and more. All right, it’s time for some farming!

MECHANICS

As you can see, we’ve implemented an inventory on your tablets! With this freshly new and still-in-progress feature, you can store all your collections in one place.



In addition to the new inventory, we implemented an option to take out a certain amount of your crops and then collect them at once. Aren’t those top-class potatoes? Have you spotted more veggies *wink? 🥔




It’s nap time!

We've thought that some of you'd like to change the time for your daily flipping routine. That’s why we’d like to present a brand-new feature we’re constantly working on. Now, you choose the time, click the button, and wake up at the specific moment. Check it on your own and tell us what options you saw.



If you’ve rested enough, let’s make a trip around the map. As you can see, we’ve prepared for you a spacious landscape based on climatic gold plains with coniferous forests to create a farming vibe.



If you’re curious about the whereabouts of this environment, we come with aid. Take a look at the minimap, from where you can choose the jobs to do.



ITEMS

For a better view, we’ve prepared a set of new unique windows to make your apartments modern and stylish. It’s a fresh idea but has changed a lot. Let’s stop walking for a moment and try to relax while drinking tea and looking outside the house.



How do you like the animation?



Ever wanted to be a rockstar? Now it’s possible with our new rocking chairs! Now even you can feel that swinging vibe and sing your favorite songs while chilling on the porch.



We’ve heard your voice that you lack kitchen tools, so it pushed us to make some for you. Can you feel a fresh floating aroma in your rooms? So we do! With our mixer, whisk, wooden spoon, and more, you can spice up your dining rooms a bit.



Pssst: Wanna taste something sweet? We have some little jars with homemade preserves. They’re waiting for you to place them in your house and put some warmth and a sentimental childhood feeling.

After listening to your suggestions, we’ve concluded that current apartments are pretty small and certainly a bit too limited at their core. Therefore, check out the new “extension” mechanics we've been working on lately.
