We're excited to announce that Flashing Lights' May content update is now live! This month's update focuses on the fire department, with the fire station having now been built, as well as a new tanker truck and water hose system having been implemented!
Next month will mark Flashing Lights' 1st birthday - it's been an incredible first year, and we thank you all for making it the continued success it is today. We can't wait to launch more content updates, enhancements and surprises.
Next up, in the June update, will be a number of brand new EMS callouts. Read on for today's full patch notes, as there are a bunch of enhancements and bug fixes which have now arrived too.

Hose system enhanced - you now need to connect trucks with a supply hose and then use the water hose from the truck to fight fires

I'm excited to reveal that Flashing Lights' Gun Update is now available for everybody. We appreciate your patience, and we would love to hear what you all think of this new update!
New to the police department are weapons and a number of new and updated callouts. As well as the new handgun and shotgun, developer Nils Jakrins has also added a variety of building interiors for you to explore in the game’s open world. The entirety of Flashing Lights, including today’s new content, is available in either single player or up to ten player multiplayer.

We are excited to announce a new update to the Flashing Lights patch test branch. We are working hard on making the Guns Update the best it can be, listening to player feedback and reports coming in from the community.
This latest update to the Patch Test branch fixes a few issues reported by the community and seeks to make suspect and pedestrian reactions to weapons a little more realistic.
Pedestrians or suspects will now sometimes put their hands up when a weapon is pointed at them. They will then comply with any additional instructions given.
We have also added crosshairs to help with aiming, and put additional lighting in and around the diners, gas stations, and the hospital.

I am excited to announce that Flashing Lights' Guns Update is now live on the Public Patch Test Branch! This bring shotguns and handguns to Flashing Lights, as well as a brand new armed robbery callout for the police department. Also introduced is basic interiors for gas stations and diner cafes.
To access the new Public Patch Test Branch, and play the new update, please do the following:
- Load up Steam and head to your library - Right click on Flashing Lights and then select "Properties" - Head to the Beta tab and in the drop down select "public_patch_test" (no password needed) - This will then download the new update for you

I am delighted to announce that Flashing Lights' January update is now available! As previously announced, today's update focuses on new vehicle options, introducing two new police cars, a new EMS car and a new fire department car, all drive-able.
But it's not just about the new vehicles - the existing fire engine and ambulance both have been enhanced with better interiors. This will be particularly exciting news for those of you who like to drive (or catch a ride) in 1st person.
On top of this, there are also a couple of new hats for your character to wear, as well as multiple quality of life improvements from the ability to customise multiplayer session names.
As previously revealed, the February update will bring SUVs for all departments, as well as a new fire truck and EMS vehicle! For the March content update, Nils is hard at work on implementing weapons as well as new callouts for the police!
