For 6 days, from 02:00 UTC on October 30th till 02:00 UTC on November 5th a holiday week of events awaits you in the game:
 
 
For the full duration of the holiday you will find thematic billboards and parachutes in battles, and Gold Boxes will turn into pumpkins! Try out the special holiday paint made for Halloween and don’t forget to “tank or treat” your friends with a holiday pumpkin gift of delicious candy!
 

 
 
Yes, that’s exactly what is waiting for you on Halloween.
 
For one day only, from 02:00 UTC November on 3rd till 02:00 UTC November on 4th, play on the special holiday map Graveyard at night and catch Gold Pumpkins, which will drop x20 times more often only on that map!
 
Holiday map will be available only in Matchmaking and only in DM mode. Even more, DM battles on standard maps during that day will not be created — only on the holiday map.
 
 
For the full duration of the holiday, from 02:00 UTC October 30th till 02:00 UTC November 5th, double battle funds will be active in all Matchmaking battles. This means you will earn twice as many crystals for each completed Matchmaking battle!

From 02:00 UTC on October 30th till 02:00 UTC on November 5th earn stars in Matchmaking battles and win:

• 25 stars — 1 container;
• 50 stars — 1 container;

• 250 stars — 4 containers;
• 300 stars — 5 containers;
• 400 stars — 6 containers;
• 500 stars — 7 containers;
• 700 stars — the spookiest animated paint “Barbed wire”*;
• 900 stars — the coolest thematic skin for Firebird.

 
“Demonic” skin for Firebird is released specially for the Halloween celebrations in Tanki, and only the most demonic in their dedication players will become the owners of the special skin. If you were holding your inner demon tightly bound, now is the time to unleash it! Which will join you today — a devious imp, an evil witch or a mysterious vampire?
 

 
IMPORTANT: prizes in the event are summed up, which means when you reach a specific prize tier, you get that many containers.
 
Prizes will be delivered to you automatically, as soon as you earn the required number of stars. You will see a special notification in the game when the prizes will be sent to you.
 
* the paint will also be added to containers.
 
 
To earn stars, you will need to actively play in Matchmaking battles, until the battle finishes.
 
Stars are earned the following way:

• 1st and 2nd place on the winning team, 1st place on the losing team or 1st and 2nd places in solo modes (DM and JGR) — 3 stars;
• 3rd and 4th place on the winning team, 2nd and 3rd place on the losing team or 3rd and 4th places in solo modes (DM and JGR) — 2 stars;
• All other places — 1 star, if you were active during the battle.

IMPORTANT: stars are not zeroed out or removed for the full duration of the event. The number of stars earned will be shown in the upper part of the screen, next to crystals.
 
For the full duration of the event the “Easy Stars” Pass will be available for purchase in the Shop, and it will double the number of stars earned. At the end of the event the pass will be removed from Garages of players who bought the pass.

Halloween is very close, and with it, as we’ve promised earlier, a truly mega release!
 
In the next several days a ton of new and interesting features are coming to Tanki Online. Today we will tell you what’s coming after the restart on October 30th, and it’s just a start.
 
 
Here the most significant change is the rework of the weekly mission chains. They will be removed from the game, and in their place weekly missions will be added.
 
Each week you will get 3 missions, which you need to complete within 7 days. The first mission is one of the standard daily missions, but with increased requirement for finishing it. The second and the third missions are always the same, and to complete them the player needs to finish 10 and 20 daily missions respectively.
 
Among the prizes for weekly missions are regular containers and new weekly containers, which have some number of crystals and supplies, corresponding to your rank. If you will complete all 3 weekly missions, the overall prize will be not less than the sum of bonuses from completing a level 10 mission chain — without the need to maintain mission chain 9 weeks prior to reach the maximum level!
 
Weekly missions, which you didn’t complete in time, will be transferred to the next week. Weekly missions cannot be changed.
 
 
Daily missions system won’t drastically change, and 3 new mission types will be added:

• Activate overdrive in battle;
• Finish battle;
• Finish battle in specific mode;

 
Also, “Collect supplies” missions will be possible to complete by activating the required supply, and the 3x hours of Premium reward will be removed from the game. 
 
Daily missions will become slightly harder, but the rewards for completing them will also increase. Each day you will be able to earn more.
 
With server restart on October 30th all your current missions, regardless of their progress, will be completed automatically, and rewards for completing them and any rewards that are not yet collected will be added to your account. Of course, mission chains that are already started will not disappear: we will increase their level by 1, complete them and send their rewards to your account.
Also in the mission window, next to the “Daily” and “Weekly” tabs you will see 2 more new tabs, that can’t be accessed yet — “Main” and “Challenges”. These sections are currently in development and we will tell more about them later.
 
 
Tomorrow, 9 new cool drones will appear in the game:
 
«Defender» Drone
Defence drone. After activating Double Armor increases the effect for a short time.
 

 
«Miner» Drone
Defence drone. Allows for a certain number of mines to survive after the owner’s tank was destroyed.
 

 
«Camper» Drone
Support drone. Speeds up the recharge time of supplies when the tank is at full health.
 

 
«Booster» Drone
Assault drone. After using Double Damage increases the effect for a short time.


 
«Blaster» Drone
Assault drone. Blows up the tank after its destruction or self-destruction, damaging all nearby enemies.
 

 
«Lifeguard» Drone
Defence drone. After receiving fatal damage, protects the tank from destruction and instantly repairs it.
 

 
«Saboteur» Drone
Defence drone. After placing a mine will also place several additional mines around the spot.
 

 
«Sprinter» Drone
Assault drone. After picking up the flag, the ball or capturing a control point gives the effect of Double Damage, Double Armor and Speed Boost for a short time and repairs the tank.
 

 
«Trickster» Drone
Support drone. After activating Speed Boost cancels the reload on all other supplies and shares this effect with nearby allies.
 

 
Find your own drone! Open the Garage tomorrow and choose a trusted battle companion or find several in one pack in the Shop. You can check out drone parameters and prices {LINK REMOVED}in the Wiki.

With server restart on October 19th a small update will be released. This will be the initial stage of preparation for the release of new drones, which are planned to be released on Halloween and which we’ve talked about in one of the latest V-LOGs.
 
This time the changes will affect the “Engineer” and “Mechanic” drones:

• “Engineer” will not only extend the active time of picked up supplies, but it will also activate their effect for all allies in the battle.
• “Mechanic” now allows to use Repair Kit, even if you’re at full health, to “heal” allies.

Also, the currently equipped drone will be displayed in the Garage above your tank.
 
And lastly — the color of the overdrive activation effect. Now overdrives of your allies will always be green, and overdrives of your enemies — blue.

The Golden Autumn comes to Tanki, let’s welcome the season with a new Star Week!
 
For 6 days, from 02:00 UTC October 16th till 02:00 UTC October 22nd, all maps will have thematic decorations, Double Battle Funds and a true starfall will drop upon the battles! But that’s not all — discounts will be active in the Shop and in the Garage, XT-skin for Shaft will be added to the game, and a new special offer and a new animated paint will come to Tanki!
 
Let’s go down each point.
 
 
For 6 days in the game Star Week will help you in battles with inspiring decorations:
 

• holiday paint with special texture;
• thematic billboards on all maps;
• special parachutes on supplies;
• thematic flags in CTF;
• thematic Gold Boxes and their drop zones;
• thematic gifts.

 
 
From 02:00 UTC October 16th till 02:00 UTC October 22nd a true starfall will descend upon Tanki Online.
 
Play in Matchmaking battles, earn stars and get cool rewards, among which are containers and the new animated paint “Tic-tac-toe”*!

A golden lion with a silver mane, visualized in the appearance of Shaft XT, will become your loyal battle companion and will help you protect the pride.
 
Previous special offer with Ricochet XT will be removed from sale. This skin will continue to be possible to find in containers.

With server restart on October 16th a new update will be released in Tanki. We’ll update turret balance for Twins, Shaft and Freeze, and will also slightly change the standard texture for the Holiday paint.
 
 
Freeze
 
The full-reload time for the ammo tank will be increased by 1 second. Now the ammo tank for the turret will be replenished to the max in 9 seconds, and not in 8.
 
Twins
 
Disadvantages: projectile speed will be significantly reduced (by 1.5 times for M0 and slightly less on higher modifications), as well as the minimal hit range (by 15-20 percent).
Benefits: the maximum hit range will be increased by 2-3 times, and splash damage will inflict more damage and in a wider radius, than before.
Summary: now Twins will be more effective at a longer range, than previously — up to 40-60 meters instead of 15-20. The power-up of the turret will be compensated by the slowdown of its projectiles and the increased danger of self-destruction due to splash damage.
 
Shaft
 
Now the aimed shot will fully deplete the ammo tank. At the same time, the minimal damage in Sniper mode will be increased by 6-7%. Also the quick reload between shots will be faster by the full 0.5 seconds, and the ammo recovery speed after firing an aimed shot will increase by 10-15%.

After server restart on October 16th the visual appearance of the Holiday paint will slightly change. Now when there’s no holiday or events in the game the paint will look like this:

Good news, the release of TO Mobile will happen very soon, and to be more specific — next week! 
 
Now Tanki will be with you at all times, ready for a battle on your Android phone or tablet on the way to school or work, and even on a trip or resting back home on a couch.
 
But there is one clarification. The mobile version of Tanki Online won’t be released in all territories at once — we will connect more countries one by one. This will allow us to release the game in a stable and efficient way, fixing bugs and issues of the app on the way to the global release and for the maximum quality of the final product.
 
The first users of Tanki Online Mobile will be the residents of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. In these countries the app will become available first.
 
We know that many players among you live in different countries, and how much everyone cannot wait to play TO Mobile. For those tankers we will release a special offer, which will include a set of game bonuses and an Early Access to the Mobile version of Tanki Online.
 
This way, if you want to play Tanki on the phone as soon as possible, you will be able to do it earlier than the mobile version is officially released in your country!
 
We will share details about the special offer and its release separately.

The launch of the mobile version of Tanki Online is coming soon!
 
The beta test of TO Mobile is now finished, there are a few final touches, and the game will be released on phones and tablets.
 
NOTE: Starting today, new invites for the test will not be sent.
 
A huge thank you to all players who helped us throughout the testing — finding bugs and sharing invaluable feedback with us.
 
All beta-testers who have logged into TO Mobile before 21:00 UTC on October 1st and made at least 1 kill in the game have received 10 containers! Containers were added to the accounts on which the tankers played the mobile version. Also, as an additional thank you for the help during the beta, all testers will keep the access to TO Mobile.
 
NOTE: the email with the test invite might have been placed in the Spam folder, don’t forget to check the folder.
 
Please be aware that you can activate the invite only once and only on a single account. If your invite was placed in the Spam folder, make sure to move it into your Inbox, otherwise the links inside the email might not work.
 
All beta-test participants and players who didn’t get invited can expect a lot of interesting events coming soon, stay tuned!
