The event will be active for 6 days, from 02:00 UTC September 25th till 02:00 UTC October 1st.
 
To earn stars, you will need to play in Matchmaking battles and play in them actively, until the battle is finished.
 
Stars are earned the following way:
 

• 1st and 2nd place on the winning team, 1st place on the losing team or 1st and 2nd places in solo modes (DM and JGR) — 3 stars;
• 3rd and 4th place on the winning team, 2nd and 3rd place on the losing team or 3rd and 4th places in solo modes (DM and JGR) — 2 stars;
• All other places — 1 star, if you were active during the battle.

 
IMPORTANT: stars are not zeroed out or removed for the full duration of the event. The number of stars earned will be shown in the upper part of the screen, next to crystals.
 
For the full duration of the event the “Easy Stars” Pass will be available for purchase in the Shop, and it will double the number of stars earned. At the end of the event the pass will be removed from Garages of players who bought the pass.
 
 
From 02:00 UTC September 25th till 02:00 UTC October 1st play in Matchmaking (non-PRO) battles and earn double battle funds! This means twice as many crystals for each finished battle!
 
Use the opportunity to save up as many crystals as you can!
 
 
And, of course, discounts!

With server restart 02:00 UTC on September 25th new maps will be added to Matchmaking, a new skin “Ricochet XT” and turret balance for Ricochet, Magnum and Striker will be released.
 
 
Tomorrow already the list of Matchmaking maps will be updated with the following arenas — remakes of the base versions, available in PRO:
 

• Cologne — slightly increased in length with the team bases, to make team play more comfortable in 8v8.
• Parma — the upper platforms were increased, which makes it possible for several tanks to maneuver in the area at the same time.
• Magistral — small visual changes.
• Bobruisk — increased some areas, additional space added on team bases.

 
New versions of the maps will also be added to PRO-battles.
 
 
New skin didn’t take long to arrive, let’s welcome the continuation of the XT-series — Ricochet XT!
 
After server restart September 25th this skin will be added for purchase in the Shop, and it will also be added to containers. At the same time the previous special offer with Freeze XT will be removed from the Shop. If you didn’t purchase the offer yet — there’s still time!
 
Ricochet XT is styled after crocodile’s maw. Sharp hard teeth will make your enemies think many time over, before attacking.

Ricochet
 
The charging speed and the energy capacity used up with every shot were decreased. This means, that the energy used for the shot will be replenished slower, but there will be more shots per each energy tank. Also, the maximum shot distance was decreased, to not make the turret overpowered at longer ranges. We remind you, that Ricochet is supposed to be short range.
 
Magnum
 
The reload speed after the shot and the time of charging the power of the shot are now tied* to each other. If you’re firing without a full charge up, then the time you would use to charge the shot to 100% will added to the reload time. This change is designed to make the turret less effective at close range. In addition to the change, splash damage parameters are changed in such a way, that hitting a tank with splash damage won’t be as effective as a direct hit. Aim! 
 
*Changes to the reload mechanic for Magnum will appear in the game a day later, than the main release — with server restart 02:00 UTC September 26th.
 
Striker
 
Splash damage effectiveness was increased — when the rocket blows up near the tank it will now deal more damage.
 
Other changes

• The length of Matchmaking battles was reduced to 9 minutes.
• Increased the number of MicroUpgrade steps for M0 hulls and turrets to 20. The overall price and time of upgrading equipment will remain the same.
  
  • Example: final cost for starting all Wasp M0 MicroUpgrades (without SpeedUps) is 26,300 crystals. After the update the number of steps will be increased 2 times, but each upgrade step will cost less, and the final cost will stay 26,300 crystals. The same applies to SpeedUp costs and wait time.

The second weekend of September is near, and this means only one thing — Tanker’s Day is finally here! Join us in the loudest celebration of the favorite Tanki holiday for 9 full days!
 
From 02:00 UTC September 8th till 02:00 UTC September 17th launch the game to find thematic decorations, special offers in the Shop, 2 new animated paints and the Star Hunt! And, of course, Tanker’s Day will bring the biggest discounts to the Shop and to the Garage.

It looks like a head of a mastodon with its mighty silver tusks, which will turn all enemies around you to run away in fear, just very slowly. After the morning restart on September 8th the skin will become available for purchase in the Shop, and will also be added to containers.
 
Titan XT skin will be removed from the Shop and will remain available only in containers.
 
 
In honor of Tanker’s Day we have decided to launch a new Star Hunt! From 02:00 UTC on September 8th till 02:00 UTC on September 17th play in Matchmaking battles, earn stars and get the coolest rewards — containers and a brand new animated paint “Synth-pop”*!
 
Prizes:

• 50 stars — 1 container;
• 100 stars — 2 containers;
• 200 stars — 3 containers;
• 300 stars — 4 containers;
• 400 stars — 5 containers;
• 500 stars — 6 containers;
• 600 stars — 7 containers;

NOTE: prizes in the event are summed up, meaning when you reach a specific rewards tier you will get that many containers. For example, if you earn 1000 or more stars, your reward will be 45 containers in total and new animated paint.
 
Prizes will be given out automatically and instantly, as soon as you earn the required number of stars. We will tell you about it in the game with a special notification.

The stars are earned the following way:

With the morning restart tomorrow, 02:00 UTC September 6th the long-awaited improvements will come to Matchmaking, Smoky and Striker will receive balance changes, and other, smaller changes will be added to the game.
 
Let’s go over all parts of the update:
 

• Matchmaking will find battles for solo players faster, and the prediction accuracy for the wait time will increase. Situations where the actual waiting time is much longer than the estimated wait time will disappear. 
• Rank limits will be added to Battle Groups: all players in the group must be 5 ranks below or above the group’s creator.
  
  • Example: if your rank is Third Lieutenant, players in your group can be from Warrant Officer 1 to Lieutenant Colonel.
• Friend List:
  
  • When a friend is playing in a MM battle, next to their name in the Friend List will be written “In battle”.
  • When a friend is in a battle group, next to their nickname in the Friend List will be added “In battle group”.
  • Now it will be possible to invite friends into battle groups even if they are in battle at that moment. If the player agrees to join the group, they will leave battle and join the battle group.

• Next to custom battle names in Battle List you will now see the names of maps, so it will be easier to find your favorite map.
• Battles in the list will be sorted by the time of creation, in a descending order. This way, the new battles will always be at the top of the list.

 
Smoky

Smoky will become more viable in a long range fight. To do this, we will slightly increase its critical damage and the maximum hit range, and significantly increase turret’s effectiveness at middle-to-long range, so the damage fall off will be noticeably weaker and will start at a longer range than now.
 
Striker

Missile-launcher turret will receive a small improvement to the target acquiring time and the speed of rockets. The changes will affect the higher modifications the most.

• Added option to receive gifts from players that are not in your Friend List. To enable the option, please go to Settings.
• The “Battle!” button in the Battle List renamed to “Matchmaking”.
• Small changes to Matchmaking configurations for maps.
• The first “wave” of supply drops in battles will begin to drop significantly later than now -- close to 2 minutes after the battle starts, and not in about 40 seconds.
