World of Warships - WoWarships Admiral

Have you already succeeded in Saving Transylvania and fending off malevolent forces in Operation Sunray in the Darkness? The Halloween activities don't end there!

Now, you yourself can stand at the helm of one of the ships of the Forces of Darkness and feel their ominous power. The Twilight Battle—something you may well be familiar with from the Halloween 2018 celebrations—is back with a reworked interface and visual effects.

Rules
Starts: Wed. 19 Oct. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Ends: Wed. 02 Nov. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)

Two teams of seven players each clash against each other playing Twilight Fleet ships equipped with unusual consumables. Battles are fought on the map from Operation Sunray in the Darkness. The key objective is to destroy all enemy ships.

[expand style=more] [/expand]
The water area is gradually being consumed by the Filth, and the safe zone for ships is continuously shrinking. Ships outside the safe zone take varying amounts of continuous damage, depending on the ship type.

[expand style=more] [/expand]

Twilight Fleet
From the outset, the following ships will be available to you:
  • IX Ghoul under the command of Dr. Van Schubs.
  • IX Octopus under the command of David Jones.
  • IX Leviathan under the command of Max Strauss.
[expand style=more] [/expand]
To obtain the other five ships and Commanders, you'll need to complete special combat missions in the Twilight Battle:
  • IX Razorworm with Commander Boris Veber will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Ghoul.
  • IX Scarab with Commander Rick H. O'Tep will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Octopus.
  • IX Varg with Commander J.G. Mephisteufel will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Leviathan.
  • IX Steel Rat with Commander James D. Breese will become available if you earn 10,000 Base XP.
  • IX Rasputin with Commander Chernomor will become available if you earn 25,000 Base XP.
[expand style=more] [/expand]
All Commanders come with 21 skill points. The Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the regular in-game nations.
With the release of Update 0.11.10, all Twilight Battle ships and Commanders will be removed from your accounts. Any XP accumulated on the special ships will be transfered to I Orlan.

In addition to Damage Control Party, ships of the Twilight Fleet are equipped with special consumables. Almost all of these have special color indications and visual effects, depending on their functions.
  • Yellow indicates defensive consumables.
  • Green indicates consumables that restore HP.
  • Red indicates consumables that restore a ship's HP when dealing damage to enemy ships.
  • Turquoise indicates consumables that enhance ship characteristics.
  • Orange indicates consumables that place certain limitations on the target.
  • Consumables that can be used in regular battles have no color indication.
If your remaining allies are fewer in number than the enemy ships, the efficiency of HP-restoring consumables with red and green indications doubles.

Ships of the Twilight Fleet
Ghoul
IX Ghoul is a stealthy destroyer with long-range but slow torpedoes. She is perfect for raiding deep behind enemy lines.
Covert Repair reduces the ship's detectability by half and restores 100 HP per second as long as she remains undetected by the enemy.
Invincible Engine Boost temporarily increases the ship's maximum speed. While this consumable is active, the ship cannot be destroyed. It also provides temporary protection against the Filth effects.

Razorworm
IX Razorworm is an artillery-focused destroyer with short-range torpedoes. She can develop tremendous speed, making her a perfect flank fighter. Thanks to her special consumables, Razorworm can be a hard target to hit.
Clubhaul immediately makes the ship take a U-turn and recovers 2,000 HP.
Dispersion System reduces the accuracy of any enemy ships firing at you with main battery guns.

Steel Rat
IX Steel Rat is a support destroyer. When close to other ships, she can put up a smoke screen to obscure them or refill their consumable charges. She's also capable of restoring the allies' HP with her main battery shells and quick torpedoes.
Restoration Charge reduces the reload time of the ship's main battery guns by a factor of four. Each time you hit an ally while the consumable is active, you restore 1,000 HP for the allied ship you hit and 500 HP for Steel Rat herself.
Emergency Reserve provides all allies within a 5 km radius with an additional charge of each consumable mounted on their ships.
Smoke Generator

Octopus
IX Octopus is a cruiser with long-range main battery guns, a slow rate of fire, and high chances of setting the enemy on fire with her shells.
Heal Radiance restores 10,000 HP for all allied ships.
Surveillance Radar with great action range.

Scarab
IX Scarab is a close-quarters combat cruiser equipped with Hydroacoustic Search. With proper and timely use of her consumables, Scarab is very difficult to destroy due to her ability to quickly restore her HP.
Grim Vampire Drain restores 1,000 HP for her each time she hits an enemy ship.
Damage Converter converts all incoming damage into restored HP while active.
Hydroacoustic Search

Leviathan
IX Leviathan is a battleship that boasts high accuracy at long ranges, turning her into an extremely dangerous opponent for all ship types. It's advisable to keep her close to allies so you can restore her own and allies' HP using her Repair Zone consumable when the situation requires.
Infernal Accuracy significantly increases the firing accuracy of the ship's main battery guns.
Repair Zone creates a repair zone within a 5 km radius from the ship that recovers the ship's own HP and any allied ships' HP at the rate of 500 HP per second.

Varg
IX Varg is a close-quarters combat battleship with powerful secondary guns. She can become invulnerable to enemy shells and quickly restore her own HP. The more enemies that are nearby, the stronger Varg becomes.
Energy Shield makes the ship temporarily invulnerable to any type of damage, except for damage from the Filth.
Matter Restorer improves the ship's maneuverability and creates a zone with a radius of 5 km around the ship that restores 300 HP each second. Every enemy ship located within the zone adds 300 more hit points to the restoration bonus.

Rasputin
IX Rasputin is a battleship with a solid HP pool. She cannot boast of having a great firing range or high main battery gun traverse speed and is therefore inefficient in countering long-range ships and destroyers at the initial stages of battle. However, when the safe zone shrinks, her enemies will be forced to come closer, and they will have a really tough time in this situation.
Ghastly Vampire Drain restores her HP by 50% of damage dealt to the enemy.
Signal Jamming Generator prevents enemy ships from activating their consumables.

Commanders!

The final stage of the account transfer will start today! This campaign has been designed specifically for players in CIS realm in order to give them an opportunity to move their accounts to the EU realm and continue playing World of Warships on the Steam. All the other regions remain without any changes (e.g. in terms of this campaign you cannot transfer your account from NA to EU, or from ASIA to NA etc.).

Starting today, the following will happen:
  1. CIS server will be no longer available on Steam
  2. When you try to log in to your CIS account, you will be offered the option to transfer your account data to the EU server* and continue playing via Steam
  3. You will not be able to use your CIS account on Steam until you decide for the transfer to the EU server
*Check the additional information by clicking on this link.

The account transfer allows the player to move their account data from one server to another while retaining all vessels, purchases, resources, statistics etc. After the transfer, the original account on the CIS server will be blocked and then deleted in 59 days. During this time period, every transferred player has a one-time opportunity to change their decision.

The transfer procedure is available for all players that have an account on the CIS realm.

Transfer: The Process

Let’s go through the process of moving your account to the EU server:
  1. Find World of Warships in your library, update the game to the latest version and press “Play”
  2. You will see a screen prompt informing you that you cannot use your CIS account anymore and you need to make a decision about the transfer
  3. Click on the big button “Transfer Account”
  4. The system will then check your account data:
    • If you have not completed the registration on your account (you don't have an email and password bound to your account), you will be offered to complete the registration in Account Management. This is required to ensure that the transfer process goes correctly, and you have access to your transferred account on the EU server after the procedure.
    • If you have completed the registration, you will proceed to the next stage.
  5. The system will then check your account for any conflicts. At this stage, we have three possible options:
    • You already have an EU account registered using the same Steam account. Since you cannot have two accounts on the same server bound to the same Steam ID, you will be offered to unbind your existing EU account from your Steam ID via Account Management and try again.
    • You already have an EU account registered using the same email as your CIS account. In this case the system will ask you for a new email and password for your transferred account.
    • You do not have any conflict and you proceed to the next stage
  6. After you’ve settled any possible conflicts, the account transfer process will start. Usually, it processes all the data in just a few minutes, but in rare cases it can take up to a couple of hours, so don’t worry if it lasts longer than you expected.
  7. As soon as the procedure is finished, you will get a message that the transfer has been completed, and you can immediately log in to your account on the EU server and play the game!

Welcome to the EU-server! Here is more info that helps you to adapt faster.

Please note that if your store settings in Steam account are selected as Russia or Belarus, then in case you uninstall World of Warships from your library, you will not be able to install the game on Steam again.

Halloween is at our doorstep, and that can only mean one thing—the Forces of Darkness are preparing to slink out from the shadows and drench the world in fear! You are the only one that can stand in their way!

Celebrate Halloween this year by getting involved in the following activities:
  • Operations Saving Transylvania and Sunray in the Darkness.
  • The Twilight Battle temporary battle type (you may remember this from Halloween 2018!). Twilight descends upon us 2 weeks after the release of Update 0.11.9.
In this article, we're going to take a closer look at the Operations. You can expect more details about the Twilight Battle to come in a separate dedicated article.

Operation Saving Transylvania will be available as Operation of the Week in the first week of the update; Sunray in the Darkness—in the second week. Players will also have an opportunity to team up with their friends in a Division and fight evil throughout the entirety of Update 0.11.9! Both Operations will be available at the normal difficulty level only.

During Update 0.11.9, the standard Operations are available only for players in Divisions. With the release of Update 0.11.10, Random Operations will become available again.

In the game client, Operations of the Week will be displayed as Active Operations.
Saving Transylvania
The main task in this Operation is to escort a ship called Transylvania on her winding route to safe harbor. On the way, you must protect her from attacking catapults and Zikasa ships possessed by the Darkness. At the end of the route, players will face the final boss—the menacing battleship Rasputin.

For Operation Saving Transylvania, players can look forward to helming the following special ships manned by Commanders with 21 skill points:
  • Destroyer III Blade with Commander Abraham V. Hellsinger
  • Battleship III Jackal with Commander Henry J. Hide
  • Cruiser III Igor with Commander Victor F. Einstein
Halloween Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the in-game nations.

[expand style=more] [/expand]
Primary task
Escort and protect Transylvania during her escape through the Portal.

Secondary tasks
  • Transylvania must not lose 50% or more of her HP during the voyage.
  • Destroy at least 16 Zikasa ships.
  • Neutralize all catapults on the map.
  • Transylvania must not stop until reaching the end of the route. To ensure that this condition is completed, at least one player should always remain near the ship.
  • Sink battleship Rasputin.
Each secondary task fulfilled increases the reward for completing the primary task.

[expand style=more] [/expand]

Sunray in the Darkness
Transylvania and her saviors have returned to their home waters of the Silver Spear Archipelago, but the Forces of Darkness are coming after them by breaking through the Portal. Your task is to hold the undead off!

Security towers will help you in battle and try to seal the Portal. You need to protect the towers from enemy ships. Along with monsters, the Filth—a dense fog—is leaking through the Portal and endangering life itself. Be careful: while in the Filth, your ship takes damage each second. The amount of damage you receive depends on your ship type. Besides this, visibility and ship detectability decrease significantly in the Filth. At the same time, the Filth benefits your boss enemies—battleship Rasputin and aircraft carrier The Great Gorgon—by restoring their hit points and reducing the amount of damage they take.

For Operation Sunray in the Darkness, we'll provide players with the following ships manned by Commanders with 21 skill points:
  • Destroyer X Urashima with Commander Mina Hurray
  • Cruiser X Svyatozar with Commander Ivan K. Ulibin
  • Battleship X Magnu-S with Commander Klaus V. Teslau
Halloween Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the in-game nations.

[expand style=more] [/expand]
Primary task
Protect the towers until they seal the ominous Portal to another dimension.

Secondary tasks
  • Successfully defend at least two towers.
  • Sink battleship Rasputin.
  • Sink aircraft carrier The Great Gorgon.
  • Destroy 30 enemy ships in the Filth.
  • Successfully defend Transylvania.
Each secondary task fulfilled increases the reward for completing the primary task.

[expand style=more] [/expand]
Please note that you can only play special ships in Operations!
With the release of Update 0.11.10, all special ships will be removed from your account. Once the event is over, any XP earned playing the special ships will be transferred to Tier I cruiser I Orlan.
Rewards

Throughout Update 0.11.9, you’ll have access to a special chain of combat missions that will be updated weekly. By earning Base XP in Operations, you’ll receive expendable economic bonuses and Jack-o’-Lantern containers.
All details are available in the game client.
