here goes another update that hopefully fixes a lot of the performance issues you have been experiencing in the past. To make up for some of this issues and to thank you for all the trust I got another weapon for you. It is a blast for sure and it also should be a good counterpart for the L96 and vice versa.

To help with performance and to make the game look even better and immersive I baked lots of lights. It is a very time consuming process and some results might be a bit weird but still it feels and plays way better.
Here are some impressions of some of the changed maps: Notice that the last map looks like a completely new map but the truth is that it is "chud" that received another theme because a lot of you did dislike the darkness in it. I hope you can enjoy this take on it a bit more.
The maps that have not been light baked yet will receive a light baking at some later point as well.

I know that the list above looks rather short but the work needed to be done to get binaural audio working was huge but totally worth it because the new audio system should be a real game changer not only in multiplayer but also in singleplayer modes.
So please forgive me that no new weapons have been added in this update. I hope to make up for it with the next updates :)

I just published another patch. You probably noticed that a lot of tiny but undocumented updates have been made to the game already. They all tried to improve game performance on certain maps and for some of you it already increased the performance a lot. However I'm still not happy but it will take a bit more time for the next steps in it.
But I'm aware of it and will come up with a hopefully better and more meaningful solution to this soon :)
This patch however is about the following issues:

They all tried to improve game performance on certain maps and for some of you it already increased the performance a lot. However I'm still not happy but it will take a bit more time for the next steps in it.
But I'm aware of it and will come up with a hopefully better and more meaningful solution to this soon :)
This patch however is about the following issues:
Fixed an issue when shooting a zombie did break full automatic guns and they started to jam randomly
SMG90 does not toggle between magazine locked/unlocked state anymore but stays in the unlocked position and only resets to locked when a new magazine has been inserted
Replaced some low resolution textures and tried to improve some scenes using them
Added higher quality Zombie models (they also feature body part dismembering and all that is obviously inducing a lot of blood as well - but you can disable the blood decals as mentioned before)
Multiplayer
Fixed not working ladders and grips in killhouse, vertigo and office (they are meant to be functional, of course)
Added Revolver .Mag 44 to the multiplayer loadout
Added Flaregun to the multiplayer loadout
The "Change Vote" Button in the Map Voting has been removed because it is probably more intuitive to just select another map from the selection to change the vote.
Spawn protection is visualized by showing a glow effect
Some more variations for the player head customization
Grenades are a bit bouncier (should allow for more interesting usage)
Added tdm_finding_sam_demons because most of you seem to enjoy the maps that are also featuring zombies (should be way more intense with the new zombies now)
Improved blood rendering a bit more
Voice Radio features channel USR1, USR2 and USR3 that can be used to talk to friends or to support custom game modes
Fixed some colliders in dm_rats and tdm_rats
Added thumbnails to weapon selection
Added tdm_, ctf_ and dm_watchtower
Scene Editor
Added some railroad and some more furniture assets
Saving a scene is much faster now
Let me know what you think about this update. At the moment all zombies have been replaced with the new ones but if you miss the old AI Zombie I also could add a new asset for it. Just let me know.
