WINTER ARMY
Winter Army is Foxhole's big semi-annual update and includes a ton of game changing features like a new dynamic weather system, an overhauled artillery game, new weapon tech trees, a Regiments system, and much more!
DYNAMIC WEATHER EVENTS
Winter Army introduces a fully dynamic weather system into the persistent war. Weather varies in intensity and can affect one or more regions at a time, turning lush landscapes into snowy wastelands or muddy battlefields.
SNOW STORMS
Armies must now be equipped to fight in snow storms. Taking shelter, building fire pits, and deploying the right equipment are key to surviving the harsh conditions of winter. Snow storms can also freeze rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water, opening up new supply lines or attack routes.
RAIN STORMS
There are also Rain Storms, which will disrupt intelligence operations, limit artillery effectiveness, and cause other front line challenges that players must contend with.
ARTILLERY REVAMP
Winter Army includes a sweeping revamp of artillery in Foxhole.
NEW ARTILLERY
There are four new types of artillery being introduced, including both emplaced and field variants.
COLONIAL ARTILLERY
WARDEN ARTILLERY
ARTILLERY BASES
With deployable artillery and the existing modular bunker system, builders can now construct the artillery base of their dreams, complete with ammunition rooms for stockpiling hundreds of shells for bombardment.
NO MAN'S LAND
To compliment the new artillery game is a feature called No Man’s Land, which allows players to unleash devastating artillery bombardments transforming the very landscape of the world.
Bombardments can devastate grass, bushes, and even trees, turning a once beautiful landscape into a desolate no man’s land. Towns that have been under artillery fire over long periods of time eventually crumble into permanent ruins.
NEW WEAPON TECH TREES
Winter Army introduces dozens of new or redesigned weapons to the battlefield.
NEW SMALL ARMS
There are many new small arms weapons, some with new features such as burst shot rifles and secondary slot Submachine Guns that can be fired from tank commander positions.
ANTI-TANK WEAPONS
Since the Arms Race update last year, many of new armoured vehicles have been introduced into the game. To counter such threats, many new AT weapons have been added to infantry arsenel.
TRIPOD WEAPONS
Tripods allow for even heavier infantry weapons. Tripods require 2 player teams to deploy as the Tripod and Weapon must be carried separately. For the extra effort, Tripod weapons have superior range and damage over handheld variants.
NEW TANKS
It wouldn't be a big Foxhole update without the introduction of new tank classes.
COLONIAL MASS PRODUCED TANK
Designed for mass-production in Kraunia, this medium tank features a modular turret system for maximum versatility. The “Falchion” class features a powerful if understated, 40mm cannon.
WARDEN SCOUT TANK
