It’s Wednesday, which means we have another patch ready to go! In addition to bug fixes and balance improvements, today’s patch will introduce another selection of lovely castle props for you to inject some decorative flair into your drab castles. From tables and chairs to beds and barrels, we’ve got just what you need to turn your hovel into a home! Take a look at yesterday’s patch preview for full details on this wonderful new prop pack.
As we also mentioned yesterday, we’ve added a bit more to the way tame times are calculated while using Pacify. Tame times will be calculated based on a number of factors including the level of the player’s weapon, the level of the creature, debuffs that may be applied to the creature, and the creature’s current HP. We hope to give players a greater feeling of control and to make the pacification process a more engaging experience.
We’ve added a few new reagents to the game to add a little more complexity to the building system and add an extra sense of value to the higher-tier structure options. To compensate for this new step in high-level crafting, we’re decreasing the weight burden presented by raw reagents. This should make it easier for everyone to do large resource harvests without frequently having to return home and unload.
We’ve also done another revision to the changes we made to the speed of brooms and flight potions following your feedback since our last patch. Our goal with these tweaks was to reduce the speed of these traversal options to encourage players to use the other means of their travel and experience more of the game’s world. On paper, these adjustments made sense, but a bug in our code caused an issue where all the items moved at a very similar speed. We’ve now fixed this bug, and the higher tier flight trinkets should be significantly faster. On top of that, the amount of mana they burn should also now be much less aggressive.
Take a look below for the full list of changes, and be sure to give servers a chance to update and come back up. We hope you enjoy today’s patch, and look forward to seeing you in Ignus!

Future Patch Schedule
Following this patch, we will be slightly altering our approach to updates to increase our efficiency and improve our ability to deliver a better gameplay experience. Patches will still be released every Wednesday, but each week will alternate between minor patches and major patches.
Our goal in minor patch weeks will be to fix crashes, improve stability and fine-tune recently added content. During major patch weeks, we will focus on adding new content, upgrading gameplay systems, and rebalancing the gameplay experience. By making this change we will have more time to prepare and test new content, while at the same time having consistent stretches of time where we can evaluate and fix bugs within existing content.
We thank you for your support as we’ve worked through Early Access, and hope this change will help us deliver you the best possible Citadel experience!

Hello all! Tomorrow we'll be satisfying another community request by adding another set of castle props for players to fill their amazing dwellings with! Before this update, many players gave the feedback that their homes felt a little empty. We're adding a selection of basic furniture props to the game to finally breath some life into your empty dining halls and cavernous lounges!
New Building Props
Tables A table is much more than a flat, elevated surface supported by four legs! Tables are a social hub! They are where people come together, where ideas are shared, and where allies are made. Grab a potion, gather ‘round your housemates, and raise your flask to friends old and new!
Or you know, maybe they are just flat, elevated surfaces supported by four legs. Either way, we have them now, and they’ll look fantastic in your castles!
Chairs You can’t have tables without chairs, which is why we’ve prepare two lovely seating options for your wizardly posterior! Kick up the ol’ dogs on one of two fantastic choices: On the left we have a simple wooden dining chair, and on the right we have a lovely leather padded lounger.
Bed Slaying the undead and taming massive dragons can be exhausting; why not build yourself a cozy, quiet space to kick back and unwind? With the upcoming addition of beds, you can finally turn your hovel into a home!
Barrels We’ve also thrown in a couple barrels as additional options to give your space a little more flavor. Expect more simple props in the future to improve the aesthetic of your space!
Taming Re-balance
We'll also be applying a re-balance to taming in this upcoming patch. Historically, Pacify times were calculated in a linear fashion: The higher the creature’s level, the longer it would take to Pacify them. With our next update we’ll be adding a little more variability to the experience.
Tame times will be calculated based on a number of factors including the level of the player’s weapon, the level of the creature, debuffs that may be applied to the creature, and the creature’s current HP. That Infernal Dragon taking too long to tame? Bring down its health, stun it with Gaslight, and pull out your strongest weapon! We hope that these new variables will make the taming of creatures a much less tedious and much more engaging experience.
New Reagents
We'll also be adding a few new reagents to the game: Blue Gold Ingot: 2 Gold Ore + 2 Iron Ore Ornate Marble Slab: 2 Stone + 1 Precious Stone White Marble Slab: 2 Stone + 1 Precious Stone Flawless Rune Gem: 3 Rune Cystal Enchanted Stone: 5 Stone + 5 Rune Crystal + 1 Precious Stone
These reagents will be added to the recipes for a number of building items, including magic structures, marble structural pieces and ornate structural pieces. As you can see, Precious Stone is about to get a lot more valuable, so the time to start stocking up is now!
Much More!
We'll have more info to share with you all tomorrow, including bug fixes and gameplay tweaks.Stay tuned for the full patch notes, and we'll see you in Ignus with some brand new content soon!

Good afternoon, Wizards of Ignus! We’re putting out another quick patch today to fix a bug that caused lower than normal health for some tames, and to address some feedback we received over the weekend regarding a few changes that were made in last week’s patch.
As many of you noticed, last week’s patch resulted in a decrease in speed for our various flying trinkets. Both brooms and potions saw their maximum speeds greatly reduced, severely diminishing the value in upgrading your tools beyond the lowest level flight options. We’ve heard your feedback, and have boosted their flight speeds up closer to what they once were.
Additionally, we’ve also boosted the basic walking speed back to its original value. While we were hoping to improve the distinction between walking and running, we decided to revert this change after hearing your resounding feedback.
Below are the complete details for today’s patch. Be sure to update your game via Steam and give the servers time to come back up with the latest version of the game. See you in Ignus!

Hello, Wizards of Ignus! We’re finally ready to redeploy yesterday’s patch! As mentioned yesterday, this update once again is focused on refining the current Citadel experience to prepare for future content implementations.
With yesterday's patch, many NPCs became tremendously overpowered. Some players even reported encountering Infernal Dragons with as much as 600,000 HP! This was clearly not intentional, and we've fixed the issue that caused this hiccup.
We’re working to have some new stuff ready to go in next week’s patch, but for today we’ll be sharing some visual improvements along with an assortment of crash fixes.
Reformation Stone Redesign
The Reformation Stone has been updated! Previously, it was hard to discern what your Reformation Stones were doing and when they were doing it. We’ve created a whole new set of VFX to pretty up the Reformation Stone and show specifically which pieces it’s healing. It looks pretty flashy!
UI Improvements
We’ve also injected another dose of UI love with this update, adding some nice new region title cards and a revamp of the loot window. These are the latest updates in or on-going beautification of the game’s UI, bringing these two parts of the interface up to the standard of the other recently updated interfaces. Expect more in the future!
Walk Animation Improvements
The fast paced life of a Wizard can be overwhelming. Take a moment to smell the roses with our new walking animation! Previously, we used the same animation for both running and walking, which a number of players reported as a bit disorienting. Now, when you’re not holding the run button, your character will do a distinct walking animation.
Full Notes
Take a look at the notes below for the full details, and make sure you give a chance for the servers to come back online. Thank you again for your support and consistent feedback, and we hope to see you in Ignus again soon!
Reformation Stone VFX updated
Players now animate differently when walking
Various crash fixes related to the map menu and party/house system
