Over the last year we've added a huge amount of new content to the game. With all these changes, we wanted to look into what players have been getting up to lately. Apparently, a lot of it is gobbling handfuls of insects. Hey, no judgement here. They're crunchy and nutritious.

May 8th will mark the 5th anniversary of Conan Exiles and we are banding together with the community to celebrate this monumental day.

Hosted by our community managers; we'll be playing Conan Exiles, having fun quizzes, and sharing in the festive spirit by giving away in-game bundles. There may also be some surprise guest appearances, so mark your calendars and join us for a few hours of blood, glory, and tons of fun!

During the stream, we’ll also be talking about your favorite memories from the past 5 years of Conan Exiles. Perhaps about the first structure that you built while seeking shelter amidst a storm, or raiding an enemy camp with your friends, or maybe just a nice day that you spent with your clan mates. Calling all practitioners of the arcane arts! Mystic Masterpieces is here, and we want you to show off your skills and create a masterpiece that captures the essence of golems or all things sorcery.

The prize? Your artwork will be featured in-game within decorative placeables for all to see. So, get ready to let your creativity soar and conjure up something truly magical. Don't miss out on this opportunity to showcase your talent and become a part of Hyboria’s beauty!

Submissions will be judged by a team at Funcom based on creativity and presentation. 10 winners will receive a Premium Battle Pass for the next chapter of the next Age, and of those 10, three (3) submissions will be chosen as grand prize winners to additionally be converted into in-game decorative placeables.

These placeables will be picture frames containing the winning submissions with credit to you, and as such, only 2D images of artwork will be eligible. Now, you could build a physical object for this, but only images of the object will be accepted, and should that submission win, the image will be used as the placeable. The same goes for 3D art; you will need to submit an image of your rendered model(s) or scene.

Winners' submissions will be implemented in-game as part of a future update.




Submissions must…

• ⭐Be original, human-created art; AI-generated images will not be eligible.
  
• ⭐Include some aspect of sorcery within Conan Exiles (spells, golems, etc.)

We, here at Funcom, are big fans of the Conan IP. You fought and thrived in this brutal world with Age of Conan, won battles in Conan Unconquered and brought your friends in for a... different fight in Conan Chop Chop. And of course, there is Conan Exiles. You survived, built, and dominated the land. And now you are about to face the final and toughest challenge yet: Love.

We are happy to announce a new project: Oh My Gods: I Was Banished to the Exiled Lands and Now I Have to Date One of the Gods – A Conan Love Story!



The protagonist, an Exile from Conan Exiles, is taught a ritual to summon and take the power of a deity to realize their dreams. The protagonist wants sorcerous powers and the means to summon the Stygian god Set. However, this ritual reads the soul of the conductor and the truth is... the protagonist feels lonely. The heart doesn't lie and they end up summoning the God of Lust, Derketo, whose power can help us get a date.

Not knowing any mortals, Derketo will act as our loyal BFF to help you score dates with those who she knows best: the other deities.




In Oh My Gods, you'll be introduced to deities, learn their other sides and see where your heart takes you. Just as with books, it is wise not to judge gods by their cover. When they aren't busy destroying worlds with their avatars, they all have different interests and characteristics. But are they what the protagonist is looking for?




Just as their characters, the deities’ tastes and expectations wildly differ. What you eat, where you take them on a date, and the kind of buildings you build is going to affect your relationship with the gods. You can decide these via dialogue options but we are working on proprietary tools to allow your Exiles characters building choices to be imported to Oh My Gods.

Asking Yog to have salad or taking Ymir on a date in the hot jungle might not have the best outcome!




Luckily, you have your BFF, Derketo to help you. Be careful about relying on her too much though - not only can she be tricky, but her intentions for your love life might not be the same as yours.




Even with the support you might get, the gods are full of themselves, and if two of them decide they both like you, they will compete for your love in a colossal battle of wits. Who will you choose to honor? Pick carefully, as there will be consequences.

• Fixed an issue that caused Weathered Skulls to become Magi Skulls under certain circumstances.

• Fixed an issue with the new boss fight that could cause one of the bosses to become unkillable and halt the progression of the fight.

• Reduced the XP provided by the Golems in the Kurak boss fight and increased the XP provided when defeating Kurak.
  
• The Voidforge Mace should no longer deal unintendedly high amounts of damage.

• Fixed an issue that caused one of the first steps of the journey system to not unlock in a dedicated server.
  
• Fixed an issue that could cause old characters to not be able to unlock steps in the new journey system.
  
• Fixed an issue that made characters who survived the Kurak fight not lose their gear when dying.

The ritual has begun. Age of Sorcery – Chapter 3 is here!

As the Age of Sorcery comes to an epic conclusion, prepare to face the one responsible for the spread of sorcery in a brand-new boss encounter, shape your own custom Golems, and explore a fully redesigned Journey System.

In just seven months, the Age of Sorcery will have seen three chapters of free content, from the massive features like the Sorcery System and Golem Shaping, to full redesigns like attributes, building, and Journeys.


This is the final Chapter in the Age of Sorcery, from which a new Age will begin. Read on to discover more about what's new in today's update, and the path we are on! You can also check out the full patch notes on our forums.

As in the previous Chapter, you will be able to collect new items through our Twitch Drops, which we'll have more news about soon, including a fix for an issue that caused some people to have issues collecting their items.

• Ritual and Sacrifice
  
  A brilliant spear of light in the sky, Mek-kamoses Spire can be seen from a great distance. From this new hub, speak to the sorcerer himself and help him stop Kurak's calamitous ritual. On this new adventure, you will eventually be transported face to face with Kurak in a brand-new encounter that will decide the fate of the Exiled Lands.
  
  With the Age of Sorcery, we began to focus more on telling stories across multiple updates, something that we are excited to continue in future Ages.
  
  
  
  
• Golem Shaping
  
  This massive new feature will have you craft and collect a wide variety of golem parts far and wide to assemble them into powerful constructs that aid you in battle and harvest resources for you, a first for the game.
  
  After eons spent crystallizing in the earth, the ancient blood of the Giant Kings has risen to the surface. Collect this new resource by defeating new monsters, then use them in crafting your Golem.

• Choose your Journey
  
  For a long time we have wanted to improve the early experience in Conan Exiles, making it easier to learn the game without sacrificing any of the freedom.
  
  With the Journey System redesign, we do this while also giving something new for veteran players to explore. It's a new way to explore the world of Conan Exiles, and we can't wait to hear what you think about it.
  
  The new Journey System can be especially helpful for returning players, as it acts as a guide to the features now available in Conan Exiles. If you want to learn how to tame a horse – select the Outrider journey. If you want to learn sorcery – select the Sorcerer journey.
  
  Journeys are represented by a card, within which a series of tasks are given. Most journeys have a prerequisite of some sort to begin it, after which you can select it and begin to progress through the tasks. Don't forget that you can switch between the journeys at any time, to focus on learning what you want.
  
  
  
  
• A New Battle Pass and Bazaar Items
  
  With each new Chapter, we're always excited to introduce new cosmetics that tie into the free content in some way.
  
  In Chapter 3, we continue to expand the choices for architectural styles with the expanded Turanian building set. We're particularly excited about the new secret passages that allow for creative ways to construct hidden nooks and chambers in your buildings.
  
  Additionally, the Chapter 3 Battle Pass and Bazaar Items will add Blood Crystal Weapons, new looks for Golems, the Turanian Mercenary Camel Pet, and much more.

It's too early to talk about any specifics, but a new Age will come to Conan Exiles, and we can't wait to talk more about it when we can.

Get your gears ready, as Chapter 3 is now out! Introducing a new mechanic we hope you get to love as much as we did creating it: Golem Shaping! Gather different parts and raise your golem in the new workbenches. Depending on which parts you use, you will be able to raise guardian golems that will follow you in your quests, or utility golems that will gather resources for you on demand! Take it one step further with the coatings to further customize your creations!

Chapter 3 also introduces a new encounter! A moon eclipse is looming over the nightime skies. Face Kurak and all the dark forces protecting him in his lair for rewards that will be worth your time!



Another big addition we are adding in Chapter 3 is a complete overhaul of the Journey System. We went back to the drawing board and redesigned the system from the ground up. New objectives, more meaningful paths, new UI, and even rewards to make your user Journey all the more meaningful and satisfying!

That’s not all included in this update: many new fixes to known issues, stability improvements as well as a new Battle Pass track (including mannequins!) join the game making this one of the most packed releases to date in the Age of Sorcery.
