Check out the new shop of oddities in the social district of Battleon. It is one place you can go to get a-head in AdventureQuest 3D.


It is easy. Log in to AdventureQuest 3D and open your inventory. The 1st item in there is always a travel crystal shard. Click on it to teleport back to town. Then go left into the next area. It is the building with... eyeballs on it. You can't miss it.


Sit around the table.... which was clearly designed for playing D&D. Because if you ask Madame Astra for your lucky number, she'll roll a 1D20 and tell you the result.

Players are losing their heads over this release....

The Mages time bubble spell allowed months of building to happen in what was a mere instant to us. Behold, our burning hometown has been rebuilt into an entire city! Login and see for yourself...


Town is divided into 4 Districts and one cemetery, in a ring surrounding Guardian Tower.


The New Battleon Town Square is the main district. In this area you will find the Travel Crystal, Bank, Cysero's Forge, Aria's Petshop, Yulgar's Inn and Bev's Barber Shop. You will also find Prim, the Class Recruiter for quick access to new classes. This area is more-or-less everything that was in old Battleon all in one easy to reach district.



The Social District is a nice spot to grab some dinner...


The Social district is the future home of the Guild Hall, Battleon Real Estate where you will go to buy your own house when we release player housing. There's a stage for another band to play at (you may or may not find several spots around the band that allow you to dance). We want to make this area a lot of fun to just hang out in and when we have parties or celebrations we hope to dress this area up extra special.


Next is the Trade district. This is the new home of Brigette and B.U.I.L.D. We plan to eventually make this the home player based gathering skills like fishing, mining, cooking and whatever else we can cook up. We want to have these skills play a very large part in how you play and the things you can craft so they needed their own home. If we ever able to make it a reality, this might even be the home of a player-based auction house (but that's a very big project)


Next comes the Scholar district. Warlic has his shop in this area. The Class trainers are there now too. This will also be the future home of the New Battleon Museum which you will fill up with your adventures (and might be able to see replays of historical events like the time Vane burned down Battleon), and the future home of the New Battleon Library.


Finally, there's the cemetery. This place is dead.

Seriously though, with the undead being so prominent a part of Lore, you can expect shenanigans.


As soon as you enter town, you will be swept up into the new tutorial elements that new players will experience. They will be taught about classes, the Quest Board (a new piece of functionality that I'll get into in a minute), How to craft things, Death introduces you to the Portal Runes (plot stuff) and gives you a Travel Crystal Shard.

The Travel Crystal Shard is a item that each player will receive. It cannot be removed from your inventory but does not take up any inventory space and you can use it from anywhere to return to Battleon. Much simpler than finding then using the nav menu in the settings.


The Quest Board is the new home for Daily Boss Dungeons, Random Adventures and two new sections Local Jobs and Level Quests.

Local Jobs will help guide you through adventurers in New Battleon. For example, you will receive a quest to help Bev in the Barber Shop and that quest will remain active in New Battleon until you complete Bev's entire quest chain. Once it's done, you can turn it in and it directs you to the Bank, and so on.



Level quests are new quests to give players something to do. They are divided into levels 1-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25. Whatever level you are, the proper level option will be the last one available to you until you level unto your new bracket. These quests all reward you with LEVEL TOKENS that you can use to slowly craft the HERALD OF HOPE set at Cysero's Forge. BTW, Battle Gem and Daily Boss crafting are both now on Cysero too.

Once you craft all the cosmetic versions of the Herald of Hope set you can use your Level Tokens and the cosmetic version of this set to craft a LEVEL 27 full set of the Herald of Hope!
Yeah, we raised the level cap to 27 in this release!


There tons of little areas to explore in the new town and we want to fill each one with something cool to do eventually but for the time being we have added a few exploration badges and tiles for you to search for. See if you can find them all!

We found down to the last board and stone... literally. In fact, you can craft them. A new cutscene unlocks when we hit 100%.




Need more time to craft the items? Don't worry. When you reach 100% you will unlock the final cut-scene. Then, you will have until Thursday to craft your uncompleted special world event items.

Almost there.... Battle on!

Vane, the VoidKing, has personally arrived in town to address you directly. The 3rd cutscene of the war has been unlocked... and not everyone survived. Watch them by talking to Brigitte the Builder.




What you are experiencing in AdventureQuest 3D this week is a one-time only world event. It will permanently change our world.



Brigitte is the expert foreman of B.U.I.L.D. ( Battleon Under Imminient Loss and Destuction. ) She is overseeing the efforts of magi, craftsmens, and the transmutations to rebuild town. Even while it is still under attack. We did say she was an expert. Talk to her in town to watch the cutscenes that have unlocked.




In the three cutscenes that were unlocked, we got our first glimpse of Vane's Fortress. We also learned the name of the Void Priestess. My favorite cut-scene is the one were you rally the forces. But perhaps the most memorable will be the newest one that just unlocked. Finally, we stood toe to toe with Vane one more time... not everyone survives the encounter. And no, there is no coming back from what Vane does.

The war to rebuild Battleon is now at 74%.... remember your days here before this war fondly.



...because you and your fellow heroes actions here today will rebuild Battleon as a great City. And what you do next will wipe that grim off of Vane's lip-less mouth. He's going to pay for what he did here.

It actually happened. Vane's army burned every building in your town to the ground. In fact, Vane is on his way now to address you personally. We expect it to happen when the war meter hits 66%. Yes, there's a war meter. It fills up when you collect rocks and wood. Because, Vane can take our home from us... but he cannot take our spirits. We're going to rebuild.


We fought to the last stone... which, apparently Gaz wants to sell. Greedly little @#$. But we NEVER GIVE UP! We're going to rebuild it. Bigger. Better. A new town? NO. This time, we're building a CITY. Help gather the resources. ALL monsters across the world now drop stone and wood. Collect and bring it to Brigitte the builder. You can find her and her crafting shop in the ashes that were once our town. You can also craft a "Last Brick" of Battleon from her for free. Because... 10g says Gaz's brick came from Falconreach.


Be part of this Special World Event!

Login and be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime special event. New cutscenes will unlock as the war reaches 33%, 66%, and 100% on the builder. There are also new B.U.I.L.D. armors to craft. From the ashes of our former town, together, we will build our biggest, strongest, best version of Battleon ever. Heroes are defined in their most challenging moments. This moment, is ours... together, will make Vane regret ever stepping his armored foot into our home.

In the newest version of AdventureQuest 3D, the main bad guy burns your town to a crisp while the team makes the experience of observing the carnage 26.9% more better-er. Improvements include:

• TARGET LOCK!!!!
  
• Camera & Targeting improvements. (Things will not pop at you when you move to close to them any more
  
• Fixed Pirate showing wrong Ultimate Skill in Class Interface.
  
• Minor quest flow fixes.
  
• Party Member target are no longer dropped based on distance.
  
• Drop target logic is now based on camera view instead of character rotation
  
• Added multi-step tutorial framework (What even is this!? Sounds fancy)
  
• If the Area of Effect target is off, the character will face the camera view instead

These changes should make the game more fun to play on both Mobile and Computers.
