Help! The Void King has launched a surprise attack against our home town of Battleon. The Defenders are rallying to drive back the invaders.


The town of Battleon is our home. People and friendly creatures from all over the world of Lore travel here for our help. But now, what appears to be a first wave of void monsters has somehow gotten through our town's gate.


"The undead have red eyes.. but they're not Shadowscythe!"
There is no mistaking it. The creatures attacking our town are void creatures. We do not know how they are made nor what they are capable of.


Heroes have thus far found 7 new types of weaponry dropping from these strange creatures. Also, you can craft new Void Defender armor on Roland.


The fight to save Battleon is happening now! As you read this, we are fighting in the streets. Join us in pushing back Vane the Void King's invaders.



But you should know that there's rumors that Vane's Priestess and Alchemist have been spotted approaching with a second wave. We are sending the Moglins to the nearby towns and allies to request reinforcements.

A strange feeling of unease washes over the Town of Battleon. There's a dark storm brewing...

The Town of Battleon is the home to countless heroes. Every day, it is visited by countless travelers from all over the world seeking your help. From friendly Trolluks, to shady sneevils, to that strange black robed Priestess who was seen the other day. There is no end of those seeking you to hunt treasure, recover rare and powerful artifacts, and defeat powerful villains.

But things have suddenly become quiet in town. Too quiet. Does anyone else get that feeling... like we're being watched?

While we continue building new larger releases including the new Battleon and Tower of Necromancy... we thought you might 'lava' a new Braken challenge. Includes new sword and helm rewards. We've added it to the rotation of daily boss challenge fights.


Who's this guy? ...players of our previous games are speculating.

This one's BIG. Consisting of four separate districts (town square, scholar district, social district and trade district) it also has the Guardian Tower, PvP Colosseum, Cemetery, the Teleporter Crystal Gate and... all the shops. You can see our progress on AdventureQuest 3D's official Game Plan. The new world story, with the villain Vane, will be told through this new town.

Have you seen it yet? Previously, it was really easy to turn the interface off for screenshots on a computer-- but really hard to do on mobile. So we added a selfie button which will turn off the interface and and let you move the camera around to take a better image. You can find it on your quick menu in-game (You know, the one on the right hand side that also has your friends, options, etc).

We are officially in a 2-month mega sprint! I updated AdventureQuest 3D's official Game Plan plan so you can see exactly what we are working on.

The "BIG 3" from this list will be the world story (which revolves around the new Battleon... big enough that we should call it a citadel. ), Game improvements (combat, inventory, questing), and smoothing out the new player experience. On the Game Plan webpage, you will see a larger list of upcoming areas in our world. I do not think seeing the list will be a spoiler. Many long time players very likely expected to see a lot of these places. There are certainly a few places that WERE NOT added to that list... for good reason. XD



Did you ever want to summon undead and fight them? We have been experimenting with a way to do just that as a part of the Tower of Necromancy. As you unlock pages of the tower's evil spell book, you will be able to summon increasingly more powerful minions.



...and it tested a new feature.
For two weeks we had been talking about how Cysero was trying to craft things the strange and shape-shifting substance called "mutatium". Resulting into last Monday's April Fool's gag where the mutatium got into the air. Players, pets, monster, and characters all got randomly shaped and sized... even in cutscenes. It was hilarious... See for yourself in the screenshot gallery. Many players wisely figured out that this was also a test to see how feasible it would be to eventually allow character size & shape customization.

Hop on this weekend and get your April Fools items from the shop. The shop will disappear on Monday for another year.

On behalf of the entire team, thank you for making AdventureQuest 3D possible. The next 2 months of development are going push our team far past our existing limits. Keep an eye on the game plan. We have just expanded the island!




Passing ships have become a problem for the Isle of the Dead. The Mistress of the Tower of Necromancy has commanded apprentice necromancer, Sacrum Deadsea, to come up with a solution for the problem. Help him build his beacon and he has a nice new item to give you as a reward!



New Exploration Badges & Titles

Three brand new exploration badges have been added to the Isle of the Dead. Search high and low until you discover all three and claim the titles for yourself!

Journey to the Isle of the Dead to begin your training as a Necromancer, and create the key (now upgradable to level 25) that will unlock the Tower of Necromancy in the next major release.



A selection of April Fools seasonal rares will be returning on Monday
Monday is April 1st. So I am writing to tell you, with 100% certainty, that we will not have any jokes or pranks. You're just too smart for it. You caught us two years ago when we said toddlers got into our server room replacing all of our in-game art with crayon. Or that time we turned every character in the game into a stick figure to "save on bandwidth costs". We get it. Your on to us. So nope... not gonna do anything Monday.



For the past two weeks, everyone's favorite "Mad Weapon Smith" has been experimenting with an unstable crafting material called Mutatium. Gaz sold it to him. It keeps randomly shifting and changing its form. He thought it might be easier to work with if he reduced it into Mutatium dust.



Behind the scenes, this was a huge week for AdventureQuest 3D. We are currently in early access, but have been laying out the new game plan which will take us to 100% live. Be sure to check out the official www.AQ3D.com and read the daily design notes we have been writing you. On the last design notes, Cysero sorta leaked that we had a big opportunity for AdventureQuest 3D pop up... we are going for it. Cross your fingers for it. If we pull it off, we will create the most incredible in-game experience in the history of our gaming community.

The ferryman of DoomWood will now take you to... the Isle of the Dead. A place brimming with sinister secrets that only you can uncover. Should you brave the undead there, and be judged worthy, perhaps you will gain entrance to the Tower of Necromancy.


A new cast of strange characters awaits you on the Isle of the Dead. Viscerra Vex is every Paladin's nightmare. Her gift is bottling the spirit energy of the fallen into batteries... an elegant craft of evil.


Not everyone on this island has secrets to share, however. In fact, some of them are just flat-out crazy, like Mazrak the Mad. Or... is he? I dunno, hanging out on a nearly-deserted island of the undead can do that to you.


Once upon a time, a hero sat by by the scarlet waters of the Crimson Lake. Gazing into the distance, there was a skeletal hand... reaching out as if waiting to be handed something. Something you only thought could happen to Kings in legends.


In other un-deadly news, there is still time to get this year's Dage Collection 2019 . This sinister set includes owerful weapons of chaos and destruction... should you choose to wield them.

Cysero bought a mysterious material from the shady black market sales-sneevil, Gaz. Cysero is has been experimenting on how to forge it into something useful. But it keeps changing shape! We hope you enjoy this new AdventureQuest 3D story release. While I promise you there will certainly be brighter releases in the future... this one begins a dark journey which will take you into realms never meant for the good, nor living.
