In-game currency changes

BaitCoins: New Premium Currency introduced instead of Gold. You can either buy it from the Game Store, earn for completing achievements, getting higher ranking or next Level or winning competitive events.
Gold: Completely removed from the game. All players with accumulated Gold will receive BaitCoins instead, as foreseen by the conversion procedure.

Licenses
Licensing system simplified:
Now there are only 2 kinds of Licenses - Basic and Advanced.
Basic:
  • Catch any fish in the pond
  • Must release all Trophy and Unique forms of target fish
  • Must keep rough (coarse) fish
Advanced:
  • Catch, keep or release all kinds of fish
Permanent licenses can now be acquired only with Premium currency (BaitCoins)
Penalty rules changed: inspection only takes place once, no additional inspection at the end of the day.

Traveling
  • Home waterway entity removed. Now all fishing trips cost the same for all players.
  • Cost of tackle and equipment
  • Price changes in the Game Store

Money for fish
  • No more Gold for catching fish
  • Changes to amount of money for catching all fish

New Progression Migration Guide

What happens to the Player
  • All players will be taken to the Global Map
  • All active fishing trips will automatically terminated
  • All tackle and equipment on the Character will unequip and go to Home Storage

Home State
  • Change Home State function will be removed from the game
  • Now all players will have equal opportunities for travel
  • Players that already changed their Home State will get a compensation in Credits

XP and Levelling
  • Level cap will be introduced at Lvl 40. After reaching it, players will continue growing in ranks.
  • All XP earned within the previous levelling system will be transferred to the new one
  • All players with more XP than required to reach Lvl 40, will receive corresponding ranking
Gold and Credits
  • Due to changes in game economy, all accumulated Credits will be transferred at a rate of x10
    i.e. 100 credits will be 1000 credits
  • All accumulated Gold will be converted into the new premium currency - BaitCoins - at a rate of 10 to 1
In-game Items
  • All inventory items that were in players’ possession will still remain, except the ones removed from the game completely
  • Items removed from the game will be compensated with Credits
  • Keepnets and Stringers were modified and adapted to the new realia
Licenses
  • All active licenses will be valid, exceps Specialized Licenses
  • Specialized Licenses will be removed from the game. The remaining validity of these licenses will be converted into Advanced Licenses of corresponding States.

  • In the process of rebalancing, we changed the level requirements for unlocking items and waterways. These entities might become unavailable to the players who don’t meet the new Level requirements.

Leaderboards and ranking
  • Due to a great amount of changes in the gaming algorithm, all leaderboards and ranking will be reset to ensure equal growth opportunities for all players.
Premium content
  • All transactions carried out in Beta will be transferred to the main server at a rate of x2
  • All who took part in the Test and reached Level 7 will be given a 7-Day Premium Account on the main server!
  • Essential Predator Pack will be replaced with the more versatile Lucky Start Pack. All players who already purchased Essential Predator Pack, will be given items from the Lucky Start Pack.
