Features

Leveling
  • Level cap 40 introduced
  • Players can subsequently reach max level unlimited number of times.
  • Ranking system introduced: each time Level cap is subsequently reached, player’s rank grows by 1 and a reward is given for reaching max level.
  • Level XP requirements completely changed.
  • Level requirements for unlocking new waterways changed as follows:
    • Lone Star Lake - Level 1
    • Mudwater River - Level 3
    • Emerald Lake - Level 5
    • Rocky Lake - Level 8
    • Neherrin River - Level 10
    • Falcon Lake - Level 14
    • Everglades - Level 18
    • White Moose Lake - Level 22
    • Quanchkin Lake - Level 26
    • Saint-Croix - Level 30

Licenses

Licensing system simplified:
Now there are only 2 kinds of Licenses - Basic and Advanced.
Basic:
  • Catch any fish in the pond
  • Must release all Trophy and Unique forms of target fish
  • Must keep coarse fish
  • Permanent licenses can now be acquired only with BaitCoins
Advanced:
  • Catch, keep or release all kinds of fish
  • Permanent licenses can now be acquired only with BaitCoins
  • Penalty rules changed: inspection only takes place once, no additional inspection at the end of the day.

Traveling
Home state entity removed. Now all fishing trips cost the same for all players, since they'll be traveling from one point.

Cost of tackle and equipment

Money for fish
  • No more Gold for catching fish
  • Amount of money for successful catch changed for all fish
  • BaitCoins will be given along with Credits for catching rare fish

Achievements
  • A few BaitCoins are given as reward for completing some Achievements
  • Other rewards for Achievements removed
  • Special tackle that you can get only for completing Achievements.

Level gaining
  • Upоn gaining nеxt level, player gets a fixed amount of BaitCoins
  • Level gain accompanied by a showcase of newly Unlocked

Graphics and surrounding
  • Dragonflies added
  • Lighting calculations changed
  • More hints added to water surface: bubbles, baby fish, etc.

Fish
  • 4 new kinds of fish - Splake, Tarpon, Colorado Golden Trout, Rainbow Trout Lake Form
  • Fish and tackle calculation physics transfered to a separate stream
  • Fish migration within a waterway added
  • Tackle load calculation changed
  • Unique forms added for most of the fish species
  • Info window with all fish species and forms in a waterway

Game characters
  • 3D game characters added
  • You can see 3D characters of other players
  • Modify your 3D character’s appearance
  • Chat bubbles added above 3D characters
  • Players count in the room will be different - from 5 to 10
  • DLC items added - apparel like jackets and caps can be seen on the character

UI
  • Game interface completely renewed

  • Manage your fishnet in the catch overview window

Premium features
  • Now you can buy a Pond Pass (which includes advanced license) to one of the 6 most popular fishing destinations

  • Unlock game waterways and remove level requirements for corresponding tackle
  • Buy permanent fishing licenses
  • Buy Premium Account:
    • Premium Account gives +50% to XP and money for fish caught

    • Lets you create Private rooms and Friend Only rooms (don't mistake it with playing with a friends - you can play with friends in the same room for free)
    • 50% less coldown time

DLC
  • 4 new DLC Packs added, each focusing on certain target fish and containing passes to 2 waterways with corresponding licenses as well as tackle sets for target fish.
  • Bass DLC: Saint Croix, Everglades
  • Trout DLC: Falcon Lake, White Moose Lake
  • Salmon DLC: Kaniq Creek, San Joaquin Delta
  • Catfish DLC: Quanchkin, Neherrrin
  • All other DLCs will be eventually removed.

Waterways
  • New waterway added: Quanchkin Lake, Louisiana. Level 26 required.
