Sessions that count towards the tournament: ːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinːːbh2coinː (8)
For each win, players receive additional points that depend on the strength of the opponents over whom they have won. Important: your tournament points will continue to increase with the increase in the tournament score of your past opponents, over whom you prevailed – even if you already have reached the limit of sessions for the tournament. What this means is that the tournament is never over for you as long as your previously conquered opponents continue to play, and win.
During this tournament, regular rating points will be frozen for all the players. Your tournament sessions will NOT affect your regular rating.
Players get tournament points for the first 8 sessions played in the tournament on each of the servers. Any subsequent sessions won't give any tournament points, and won't increase the number of defeated opponents who give additional points. Nonetheless, victories of all opponents who were defeated in the first 8 sessions will affect your final tournament rating.
PRIZE FUND:
Awarded: Top 10 players on each of the servers. In addition to the main prize fund, every player who finishes all 8 tournament sessions receives a special bonus player icon “Facepalm” (only if it has not been received before)!
In the case when at the end of the tournament two or more players will have equal number of tournament points, they will share the same (highest) place and get the same rewards. However, the award list will not be extended, and we will still award only the top 10 players on each server.
TOURNAMENT CHESTS – FAQ:
Q. Where do Tournament Chests drop? A. Only in tournament sessions, which are available via Multiplayer Lobby.
Q. If I've finished all my tournament sessions, can I get more tournament chests? A. Yes, as long as you will keep playing tournament sessions.
Q. Are the tournament items limited to this tournament only, or to tournaments in general? A. The tournament items are available via tournament chests, which drop during every official tournament in the game.
Q. Is there a full list of tournament items available via tournament chests? A. Yes, please see below:
Today we released the Spring Season Update for Gremlins, Inc. which includes 2 new cards, a new section in players' profiles with additional statistical data, and a useful quality of life improvement related to in-game bets.
A. NEW FEATURES
Additional stats in profiles
In the profile of any player you can now find a new "Player stats" button that includes two types of data:
1) Dice rolls – how many dice rolls the player made during their career in Gremlins, Inc. and what were the results of those rolls. As is usual for any stats, only the results of completed (appearing on the player's list of previous sessions) sessions are included. Out of those, only the results that directly affected the session are included (in a case of rerolling, only the final result is included).
2) Character stats – how many sessions of different types (ranked, custom or single) were played by this player with each of the 12 characters, and how many of those sessions the player has won. This data is additionally separated by the playing fields (we are aware that the order of characters changes when fields are changed – this will be fixed in one of the future updates).
This data is retroactive and includes the results of previously played sessions.
On-screen buttons for bets
When a bet is required to be made (in a Player Conflict, in an Auction, etc.) in addition to the slider and direct input it is now possible to adjust the bet with on-screen buttons.
Fixed the issue where the list of mods in Workshop wouldn't load for some players.
F. KNOWN ISSUES
Information about all currently known issues, their status, as well as the suggestions from the community can be found at our public page on Trello: https://trello.com/b/HjOStDAS You can use our forums to report new issues or make suggestions about the game – they will be added to the Trello list.
Have you noticed that quite a few of the fixes and improvements in this post have the names of the players who reported/suggested them? This is because when a certain suggestion is implemented or a significant reported bug is fixed, the players who reported those first, are rewarded with in-game chests. Please keep those reports and suggestions coming!
Finally, as always, we invite you to join the community of Gremlins, Inc. on Discord – where we already have more than 2.400 players, communicating in English, Russian, Japanese and Chinese – use this link to join.
It is time to share the details of the second card that will be added to to the game with the upcoming Spring Season Update for Gremlins, Inc. (which is much closer than you might think ;) )!
FORTUNE
Played: on a Misfortune spot Cost: - Move points: 4 Type: regular Number of these cards in the default deck: 1
Special rule:
Get income. The Misfortune spot doesn't affect you.
"Most gremlins think that fortunes don't exist, as doesn't exist the very word "fortune". But the truth of the matter is that fortunes do happen, just very rarely and only to those who are well prepared for the misfortunes."
The community team tournament "Cooperating Capitalists" is over and we would like to summarize the results.
32 teams participated in the tournament, gathering 64 players from 11 countries:
Despite the high number of teams, the cooperative attitude of all the participants allowed us to complete the whole event in just 2 weekends – during which 32 tournament sessions were played. It's worth noticing that the competing teams were not just responsible, but also friendly to each other and ready to sacrifice their own comfort in favour of that of their opponents. To satisfy the needs of some teams, several sessions were moved to different starting times or even to another server. Overall, the tournament had no significant delays and not a single session was canceled!
Without a doubt, the organizers of this team tournament deserve a special mention: extenion, jack_was, Meowth, Impsuley, Standard of Ur & winter1703. Without them, this event wouldn't have happen!

The first round was played on March 30 and immediately presented a few unexpected results:
out of 22 players from Russia, only 8 remained in the tournament after the first round;
out of 7 teams from China, 4 of which were predicted to leave the tournament right away, only 1 team actually lost;
despite the predictions, the Lithuanian team The Dudes and team The Krits, which united players from the UK and Portugal, were able to make it to the second round.
The second round was played on March 31 and ended with a single huge surprise:
team The Krits won again, in a session against team OHAGI, although according to the preliminary predictions on Discord, its chances to lose were 23:2. After that victory, no Japanese teams remained in the tournament.
Below you can find the links to the recordings of a few tournament sessions that were played during rounds 1 and 2:
The third round that was played on April 6, brought more surprises:
an experienced team Assassins of Topdeckers wasn't able, despite all expectancies, to defeat the team BLACK MOON;
May there be CHAOS! lost to cidanzi, although predictions were on the CHAOS's side;
Team NF after two convincing victories in the first two rounds, lost to its compatriots from team of dog;
The Krits who finally got the predictions on its side, lost to the team love revenge.
At the fourth round, only teams from China remained in the tournament – but surprises kept coming:
cidanzi has won in the session against BLACK MOON although predictions were 8:3 against it;
similar situation happened with team of dog which has won in the session against love revenge while predictions were 7:3 against it.
Only the finals of the tournament, that happened on April 7, were played accordingly to expectations: love revenge has defeated BLACK MOON in the session for the third place, and cidanzi has won the title of the champion with two victories in a row in the final series against team of dog.
Below you can find the links to the recordings of a few tournament sessions that were played on April 6-7 (including finals):

INTERVIEW WITH THE CHAMPION
jack_was, one of the organizers of the tournament, took a brief interview with the captain of cidanzi – 陈年老酱 which you can find below:
jack_was: For how long do you play the game? 陈年老酱: I have played for 512 hours, my teammate 瓷蛋子 has played for 690 hours.
jack_was: How did you like "Cooperating Capitalists" tournament? 陈年老酱: It was my first time joining an official team play tournament. I like to play with my friend and win together.
jack_was: What rules did you like and which ones would you like to be adjusted? 陈年老酱: I think the rules are fair enough. Maybe the "random character" rule will make me play a character which I don't like to use but some characters will be too strong if they are in the same team – like the Damned and the Pauper.
jack_was: Which session was the greatest challenge for your team and why? 陈年老酱: every team was a challenge but if I had to choose, I think it would be session 26 against May there be CHAOS! (Privet20, Kieli). the Banker got 106 income at the 14th turn. The Pauper got The Accelerator at the 17th turn. fn: this session was recorded and you can watch it here.
jack_was: There were 5 teams representing China in quarter-finals and you allowed no other countries to enter semi-finals. Is there any simple explanation? 陈年老酱: the winner needs both luck and skill – nothing else can be said here. It's a rare situation that happened this time, and you probably won't see this happening in the next tournament. Also, I don't have permission to "allow" anyone to enter semi-finals or something. To enter the semi-finals you just need skill and luck.
FROM DEVELOPERS
Once again we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who organized and conducted this tournament as well as to all the teams who participated (and those who were ready to participate but didn't get a chance even after the brackets were expanded from 16 to 32 teams). This was an amazing experience and we followed the course of the tournament with great interest making our own predictions. We will discuss possible ways to make such tournaments more regular, where the qualifying round to them will be the position of the players on the ranked ladder at the end of a season.
Thank you, everyone, for playing our game and finding more and more ways to play it differently!
During the first and second rounds of the team play tournament we have streamed and recorded some of the sessions that were played. In case, if you missed the stream or spectated other sessions directly from the game, below you can find the recordings:
Session 5 - May there be CHAOS! (blue) vs Greedy Gremlins (red)
The tournament continues on the next weekend when the third round will be played on April 6, as well as semi finals and the final on April 7! The results of all completed sessions together with the schedule of the future sessions can be found here.
The registration to "COOPERATING CAPITALISTS!" is over. So many teams wanted to participate in the event that the tournament has been expanded to 32 teams instead of 16!
The schedule for the tournament together with the teams seeding can be found through this link.
The first round of the tournament begins tomorrow! You will be able to spectate the tournament sessions directly from the game or on the stream on the game's main page.
Good luck to the teams and let the strongest and the luckiest team wins!
The tournament is over and as always we would like to share with you some additional data as well as the list of the winners ːfireappleː

One team's application (Dark Matter) was rejected by the organising committee due to current bans held by these players, specifically for being aggressive and harassing other players. Mistakes are made to be corrected, yet in this case, the reason for the ban was in the fundamental lack of control and the committee felt that holders of active bans for such reasons should not be accepted into the community tournament.
