Today we release a rather big update for Gremlins, Inc. (30/03/2017), kicking off the Spring Season at the same time. The update bringing the same new cards and Misfortune to Gremlins vs Automatons is expected to come through a few days later.
A1. SPRING SEASON
Spring Season arrives, and brings:
rating wipe for all players
seasonal chests ːgreengemstoneː; and
awards for the players who made it into Top 10 on both servers between the seasons.
A2. NEW FEATURES
"Winner's Chests"
New feature: now when you win 3 ranked sessions on a specific server (does not need to be in a row, and can happen over a stretch of time), you become entitled to receive a seasonal chest (click on the "claim reward" button in the lobby to receive it). Limitation: the number of such winner's chests is limited to 1 chest per week, on each server, for each player.
The Gramophone
The Gramophone is a new in-game item (arriving in regular chests, rarity level: rare) that allows you to listen to any music tracks from your Gremlin, Inc. collection during a session (please note that to access seasonal tracks, you must either receive them as drops or trade with other players to get them)!
Expanded item previews
Expanded feature: now you can preview the in-game phrases before adding them to your Collection (or directly from your Collection, if you wish so) – just like with the emoticons.
Item stacking
New feature: now you can stack the in-game items in your Inventory into one neat pile, using a tick-box.
A3. NEW CONTENT
4 new achievements
We have completed the set of achievements for Gremlins, Inc.: now there are exactly 100 of them.

C. CHANGES
The list of sessions in the lobby has been optimized, it should now work smoothly even when there are many concurrent sessions.
The list of currently ongoing sessions in the lobby now won't "jump" up and down when new sessions are created.
New sound effect has been added for crafting items.
When you get a new achievement, you now receive notification even if you're in the main menu or in the lobby at that time.
The information in an item window now also shows the minimum number of charges that you will get if you decide to convert it into charges.
Your settings of how to sort your Collection will now stay the same between different game sessions.
Buttons for the Misfortune "A Volunteer" are now placed in the same order as in the text of the Misfortune.
C2. BALANCING CHANGES
When rolling the dice ːcheatdiceː to determine your sentence in the Jail, rolling "1" and "2" now no longer increases your ːmaliceː.
Action card ːcardsː "Jailbreak" now increases ːmaliceː by 1 when played (previously it didn't).
Action card ːcardsː "A Deal with the Prosecution" now increases ːmaliceː by 2 when played (previously it increased it by 1).
D. FIXES
Fixed an issue where the game could be stuck at the loading screen until the "player.cfg" file is deleted. If you encounter this bug again, please contact us through the forums! ːnotebookː
The Thief's ability "Robbery" now works properly when opponents spend $1 to win the Conlfict against the Thief – now the Thief gets $1 instead of $0 in such cases.
F. KNOWN ISSUES
Permanent indicators next to player avatars sometimes remain blinking despite corresponding events being over.
The permanent card "The Astral Elevator" might still work in the next round even after being destroyed.
If the Astral Plane window is open, you cannot switch between Chaos Cards and the cards on your hand.
If you disconnected and an AI won the game instead of you, the game will get stuck on re-connecting.
The dice-roller animation will be visually bugged when rolling two or more times in a row.
Sometimes when loading single-player session, certain indicators will not appear on the playing field/will appear incorrectly.
When activating "An Automated Bureaucrat", values of bribes next to player avatars may not refresh for a few turns.
The stats for the most recently added single-player challenge – A Secret Assignment – do not count the score points that the AI bot already had at the beginning to the session.
Sometimes when a session ends, instead of the correct results the final table shows 6 players named as Darbl fon Murblenton.
Currently unable to reproduce at the studio:
In very rare cases, selection of random spots or locations will not work.
Sometimes, when having a jail rank that allows you to select from 3 jail events, the UI will only show two, but the third will still be clickable.
In some rare cases, activated card "The Astral Elevator" still does not allow you to get to the Astral Plane through the Bank.
Sometimes the "skip turn" icon will not show when working in The Plant.
Single-player sessions will not save when, during that session, you agree to join a ranked session.
