Our early access JRPG Edge Of Eternity is currently 25% off! Did you know that only a team of 9 people is developing the game? Isn't that nuts?! Definitely check out their hard work! We recently launched the 4th chapter, of which the trailer is below. https://youtu.be/hnFNVyR3J6Q Have fun in the world of Heryon!
As promised, we now want to share with you our plans for the upcoming months. As we did for the Early Access launch, we’d like to share a small visual impression of our journey:
As you can see, with Chapter IV we made it to the halfway point of the Early Access! At Midgar Studio, the team really feels that Edge Of Eternity has stepped up recently with this release. The game has now 25 hours of solid content. If you were hesitating we are pretty confident to say that now is a good time to join us in Heryon! ;)
And there’s even more to come. Let’s have a look at the next steps:
Chapter 0 : January 2020
This update will be quite unique. It will not provide you with the continuation of Daryon’s adventure as you are used to with every chapter so far. This update will focus on reworking the early hours of the game. For newcomers, it will mean a brand new tutorial & new introduction to the game. For current players we strongly recommend to start another save for a bit for you to know about Daryon’s past (and come back later to your current save). This part will offer a quite interesting (as we hope) narrative introduction to the game.
Chapter 5 : March 2020
We’ll be back on the main story line and introduce you to a new character. You will also be invited to venture into a new dungeon. This update will also invite you to return to previously visited locations that will offer many new quests and an increased difficulty level.
Chapter 6 : June 2020
Daryon’s fellowship will continue its adventure in new Desert and Volcano areas. Along with a new turn of events in the main story, this update will focus on special personal quests for the main characters. A way to find out about their backstories and motivations in this very damaged world.
And with Chapter VI we should be able to release our most anticipated “Nekaroo Farm” !
Chapter 7 : September 2020
Late 2020 / game release The release of the game will come with a final massive update. You really think we’re gonna give any hint about how this will end! :)
As you can see we have still a lot to come. It will be a long a very productive year and we are all committed to release the full game before the end of next year. We have many surprises to come. Things we’ve been working on for a while as well as fresh new additions we want to make to the game based on your feedbacks.
Keep on telling us what you like or dislike in Edge of Eternity. It’s a real fuel for making the game and we cannot value more the players message we receive. And again we would like to thank you all for the incredible benevolence you have towards us.
Don't forget that the game is also on sale with 25% off until next week (December 16th) if you don't have the game yet :) Thanks for reading & see you soon in Heryon!
We recently crossed a major milestone with the Chapter IV release and there is still so much to come! The support we got from players since last year has been an incredible boost for our small team and help us crossed many dev milestones over the past months. To celebrate this “earlyversary” (:p), we’d like to propose a review of everything we achieved this year.

2019 in details
So what happened since Last December:
March - Chapter II - The Plains of Solna
Released on March 7th, the second chapter added a lot of new content. A big new area of the openworld map opened & players discovered the cute Nekaroo mounts! It’s also at that time that we added the Lighthouse, the procedurally generated dungeon with randomized battles at each floor. There was also many new sidequests, items, dynamic events, the weakness discovery system for monsters was also added.
The third update focused on the development of the arch around Alpharius, the master of Selene. Our heroes had to face great dangers going through the Pass of Olphara to get precious information about the Corrosion, the sickness that the mother of Daryon & Selene is suffering. We also added the Special Attack for Selene & fixed various bugs & balance levels of some monsters.
November - Chapter IV - The Man who survived the Corrosion
Released just a few weeks ago, the fourth chapter is the most ambitious chapter we have released since the beginning of the early access, adding 8 hours of content in the game! A new playable character has also been added, the witty Ysoris, only survivor of the Corrosion. We also introduced new environments like the city of Technomages, Tyr Caelum or the Junkyard Dungeon, full of dangerous broken machines.
We will soon release a new update including our whole roadmap for next year but we can already tell you that a new major update is coming Early 2020. It will renew the whole beginning of the game.
We also want to thank you all for your feedbacks & patience since we started this dream project. Don’t forget that you still can follow us on social media & join our Discord server. See you soon in Heryon!

New Major City : Tyr Caelum:
[/b] The City of Technomages - built into the gigantic wreckage of an Archelite Spaceship, a community of wizards and scientists delve into the forbidden secrets of alien technology. Far from being a technological utopia, Tyr-Caelum is not the paradise every refugee hoped it would be. New Area : Heretic’s Trail
[/b] The ominous jungle surrouding Tyr-Caelum is full of peril - coming in the form of Nepentha et Red Widows - terrible monsters who spawns by dozens everytime one of their egg hatches. Who knows what kind of meat the Widowling will crave once they are finished devouring their own mother? Needless to say, be careful - you might even find a village over there, hidden in the treetops.
