The new year will be all-action: you’ll be able to once again gather up some valuable rewards together with friends from 9/1 to 13/2.


In a total surprise, Ereshkigal has managed to make a decisive strike: her army has taken the Treasure Island of Courage and is now occupying the Daeva race track. Her intent is cold and calculating: she plans to take the wealth of the region that is set out for the Daeva.



Three clever Shugos, Lararinerk, Gogoshunerk and Kikurinerk, were however able to save some of the keys and Alchemical Insignias in the final moment. Unfortunately their airship was hit by Abyss debris during their escape and the wealth of the Treasure Island of Courage was spread all over Lakrum.


Get the following items before they fall back into Ereshkigal’s hands: the [Rune] Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone, [Rune] Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stone, the Daevanion Skill Chest, the Transformation Contract: Cat or Baa and the [Event] Alchemical Proof: Sealed Legendary Daeva Protector (Selection Box).

Are you looking to finally reach level 80? This event should make it easy for you. Our boost and the reduced costs for instance re-entry will help you turn into a high-level player in next to no time and will have you become the proud owner of your own Daeva Protector’s set!





You can acquire the necessary event items from the treasure chests in Mirash Refuge as well as in the usual chests in Lakrum. You can exchange these with Shugos Lararinerk, Gogoshunerk and Kikurinerk for various treasures.


We will be activating a 3x XP boost for the monster hunt. That’s a whopping 300% more XP for you!


You can enter the following instances repeatedly at a lower cost: Mirash Refuge, Garden of Knowledge, Holy Tower, Narakkalli and Prometun's Workshop.




Lararinerk sells legendary equipment that lasts for 3 days for Kinah.


Gogoshunerk trades in permanent legendary equipment for Kinah and the following items: equipment pieces (purchased from Lararinerk), a set amount of Alchemical Insignias, an Alchemical Proof.


Kikurinerk trades Abyss treasures for Abyss Points.


[Event] Alchemical Insignias can be earned through the daily login (1x per hour, max of 7 per day and only for characters level 76 or higher). The Alchemical Insignias are guaranteed in the Mirash Refuge Treasure Chest and in Kirshka's Treasure Chest.


The item with the impressive long name ‘[Event] Alchemical Proof: Sealed Legendary Daeva Protector (Selection Box)’ can be located in the common treasure chests.

To mark the end of the year we’re presenting more fantastic events that you can use to clean up on rewards.




Running: 12/12 to 9/1


The Shugos are already in a festive mood and are feeling generous: roll the dice for valuable items – what you get depends on the field you land on! Throw the dice and play a few rounds on the game board. There’s rewards such as the Snowflake, the [Rune] Special Form Contract, the Solorius Costume, the Solorius Beret and the Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone to be won.


You can open the game using the corresponding icon (golden die). To take part, you will need dice. We will be giving you one every week in-game, provided you have a character on your account who is level 65 or higher.


Additionally, you will be able to collect three free tokens daily in the AION Shop. To get the tokens from the shop, you will need to have at least one character who is level 30 or higher. In total you will receive a wonderful 22 free dice per week.


Each die lets you move between 1 and 6 fields. You then receive the correspondent prize and the field will be marked with a green cross. If you’ve travelled the length of the game board and land on a field that you already visited, you will skip it and continue to the adjacent field.


Note: The game board will be reset every Wednesday, no matter if maintenance is taking place or not. You then start again at the beginning and the green crosses on visited spaces will be removed.
In total there are four boards, of which one will be selected for you at random.

Evil scholars in Atreia are letting little magpies starve. This can’t be allowed to continue! Show these evil scholar leaders that they aren’t to mess with Daeva and earn some great prizes, including examples such as the
New Year Wings, the [Event] Arch Kerubiel Minion Contract, the [Event] Legendary PvE Enchantment Stone and the [Event] Legendary PvP Enchantment Stone.


The little magpies have lost their parents and if that wasn’t bad enough, the evil scholars are now stealing their favourite food! It’s up to you to help the little magpies and get back their much-loved [Event] Cocoa Fragment. Complete the quests, gather 10 fragments and receive XP as well as the [Event] Bundle of Sweet Chocolate which will include some valuable rewards for you.


The evil scholars will appear in set locations every 5 to 10 minutes. If you defeat them, there is a chance they will leave the [Event] Cocoa Fragment behind.


The evil scholar leader always appears at 8 PM in set locations. If you beat him, he will also leave you a reward. As the evil scholar leader always has a busy schedule, he will only be available in Atreia on the following days:
14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th December and also on 4th and 5th January.

Please be aware that the chests that you get with the Magpies Event [Event] Selection Bundle of Ancient Transformation Potions for New Year's 2018 and [Event] Selection Bundle of Legendary Transformation Potions for New Year's 2018 will be deleted on 09.01. You will have to open it if you wish to keep the potions after the event is over.


Get dressed up and you can look like a scholar too (without doing the little magpies any harm): the AION Shop has the elegant Hanbok available for free!

The landscape and cities are draped in white and silver. Fittingly, this year you can once again take part in the event Snow in Atreia and upgrade Snowflakes. Join in and let the Snowflakes enchant you! These aren't merely frozen water – they're true gifts from the heavens and grant you precious items, including the [Jakunerk] Lucky Dice, the [Motion Card] Ice Skate, the Classy Solorius Cloak, the Solorius Festival Floral Crown, the [Rune] Special Transformation Contract and the Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone.


Visit Snorinerk by the Solorius tree in the capitals. She'll give you two Snowflakes per day.


Double-click the Snowflake in your inventory. They will either increase by one to three levels, or they will be destroyed. If the latter happens, you will receive a Crystal of Chance.


If your Snowflake reaches the maximum level 10, clicking the Snowflake one last time will transform it into a Snow Crystal and an Aura Fragment. There is also a chance of receiving a Snow Crystal from level 2 – either when the Snowflake is destroyed, or as a by-product when levelling up (the matching Aura Fragment can be found in the AION Shop).


Combine the Snow Crystal and Aura Fragment together and you'll receive a Prisma – an extraordinary bundle that conceals a particularly valuable item.


Crystals of Chance which you receive from destroyed Snowflakes can be brought to Snorunerk. For every 10 crystals you'll get a further Snowflake.


Alternatively you can acquire Snowflakes in the AION Shop or loot them from the bosses in the following instances: Mirash Refuge, Garden of Knowledge, Holy Tower, Makarna of Bitterness, Narakkalli and Prometun's Workshop.

Winter has come to Atreia and not only does it have snow and candlelight in store but exciting in-game events too!





Running: 5/12/2018 to 2/1/2019


Santa Shugo has granted countless wishes over the past few months, including the wish for a Solorius Lottery. He's spared no effort and made sure that the cards are on the table this year as well!


Collect playing cards in various combinations and win great prizes – including the items Selection Pack: Ancient Transformation Contract, Legendary PvP Enchantment Stone, Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stone, Bloodlust (Return) and Hero's Legendary Noble Steed.


There are a total of 24 different playing cards with different symbols, split into 4 categories: clubs, hearts, diamonds and spades. Each of these categories contains an ace, king, queen, jack, 10 and a joker. Collect various combinations of cards to win valuable prizes.




During the event period, you will receive one free playing card in the AION Shop per account per day. Only characters who have reached level 30 will be eligible to receive free cards.


To increase your chances of winning, you can purchase additional cards in the AION Shop. They are available in bundles of 25 or 100.


Please note:

• Please note that the cards are generated at random - some will appear frequently, others less so.
• Accounts created after 3/12/2018 will not be included in the allotment of free playing cards.

Running: 5/12/2018 to 16/1/2019


Go on a Monster Hunt! Defeated monsters all over Atreia will drop treasure chests at random. All you need now are the keys to get to the juicy rewards.
Among other items, in treasure chests you’ll find the Night Owl costume, the Legendary PvE Enchantment Stone, the Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone and the [Rune] Special Transformation Contract.

• Defeat monsters all over Atreia (excluding Poeta/Ishalgen)
• Pocket the drop: the Treasure Chest of Battle
• Defeat monsters in the instances and you will have a chance to obtain keys for the Treasure Chest of Battle. Monsters in Lakrum also have a chance to drop keys. Alternatively, you can acquire the keys in the AION Shop.

Even more prizes: in addition to your reward, you are also guaranteed at least one Safe Token and with a little luck you can even get up to 25 Safe Tokens at once!
You can exchange the tokens at the Safe Token Vending Machine for useful items. You can find the vending machines in the capitals and in Lakrum. What are you going to get?


Are you a hard-working treasure chest collector? Defeat boss enemies in the following instances and your battles will turn into real key experiences:

The whole of Atreia is joyous in anticipation of the holidays. There's a bustle of activity in the towns and the air is filled with the scent of fir trees and freshly baked cookies. Santa Shugo and his helpers are packing the final presents and have even started loading the sleigh. We have been hard at work too and have some treats for you in celebration of the Solorius Festival. All this awaits you in the coming weeks:


Sparkling Solorius trees, candy canes and mince pies – from 5th December to 9th January the capitals will be decorated festively to raise your anticipation for the coming holidays.


Gather playing cards in various combinations between 5/12 and 2/1 to win some valuable prizes. Fingers crossed!


Head out on your monster hunt from 5th December to 16th January! Defeated monsters all over Atreia will drop treasure chests at random. All you need now are the keys to get to the juicy rewards.


Play a few rounds on the game board from 12/12 to 9/1 to secure valuable items. We'll give you the dice so that you can take part.

Running: 28/11/2018 - 9/1/2019


The dice have yet to land: play and win some great items such as the Transformation Contract, the Cute Minion Contract, the Lightning Steed - Dodge Weapons (30 days), the Party Outfit, the Box: Hell Steed, the Luna Silver Chest and plenty more.


Roll and win: there are different reward levels that are represented as chests. To start your dice rolling, you will need Luna.


You roll 5 dice in the game. Every throw gives you the chance of a prize, represented by a laughing Shugo. But what would a game be if there was no losing? Should this befall you, a blue Shugo will be shown.


You can stop rolling at any time – or keep going until you have won on all 5 dice. No matter when you stop, you keep all the rewards you win.


There is the option to have the dice roll automatically until they all win. If you select this option, the corresponding amount of Luna will be withdrawn. Alternatively you can roll the dice yourself each time by clicking on the button.


Now things get interesting: as soon as you win on all 5 dice, you will get the chance to roll the Golden Die. Naturally, for the Golden Die that win, there are greater rewards than those from the normal dice. The Golden Die can only be rolled once and you will have to pay Luna for every roll.


If Lady Luck leaves your side with the Golden Die, you also here keep your rewards that you have earned. You will also receive a consolation prize – the attempt should still be worth your while.


Each roll costs you 5 Luna. The game with the golden dice costs 80 Luna per roll.


If your rolls win, you will be rewarded with boxes that have different levels. Once all dice have been rolled or you have decided to leave the game, you will receive a random item from the box you have won. Depending on the roll, you can earn either 1 or more boxes of the same level.

Exclusive to returners and newcomers: earn valuable equipment in our two autumn events which turn the cold and grey November into an exciting adventure.




Running: 21/11 to 19/12

New players will receive prized items such as the Legendary Weapons Selection Box of the Black Flame, the Selection Box containing Legendary Wings of the Black Flame, the [Event] Bundle of Legendary PvP Enchantment Stones and the [Event] Bundle of Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones.

Life isn't always easy starting out fresh. To help you keep pace with the veterans out in Atreia, as a new player you’ll get some quality rewards which will greatly ease your levelling process.

To get these rewards, you will need the event currency, the ‘Bouquet of Illusion’. Here’s how you can earn them:

• Complete weekly quests in Lakrum (garrison quest and urgent orders)
  
• Gather drops from boss enemies in the Mirash Refuge and the Garden of Knowledge
  
• Get the daily login bonus of up to 30x [Event] Bouquet of Illusion (in addition you’ll receive 1x [Event] Insignia of Illusion)

You can then exchange the event currency Bouquet of Illusion with NPCs Florinerk and Greetinerk for some valuable items.


Running: 21/11 to 19/12

Are you new in Atreia or back to continue your adventure? Then pay the NPCs Reina and Reicis a visit. They’ll give you some special rewards that will help you level up faster!

Reina

• Reina is Royer's friend and stands on the side of the Elyos. She rewards new and returning Daeva with Royer and Cheska's Level 10 Rewards Chest, among others.

Reicis

• Reina is Cheska's friend and stands on the side of the Asmodians. She rewards new and returning Daeva with Royer and Cheska's Level 10 Rewards Chest, among others.

Rewards

When you reach level 10, you will receive the Royer and Cheska's Level 10 Rewards Chest. This chest contains another chest, which you can then open once you reach level 20.
This principle applies to all reward chests that you receive when you reach levels 20, 50, 65 and 75.

The Moon Festival is a traditional festival that sees the whole family come together. Lively discussions, fun games and lots of food are the order of the day during this celebration.

But because of the war against Ereshkigal, this year lots of Daevas are running late with preparations for the festivities. As well as this, many sons can't return to their families because they're still bogged down in battles.

So it's up to you to save the Moon Festival! One family needs a lot of help in particular to gather all the ingredients they need so they can make a Moon Cake Dish. Talk to the father and son first and receive a daily quest. Once you've done that, hand over the Moon Cake Dish to the mother and you'll be rewarded with [Jakunerk] Ring's Kindness.

Don't know much about baking? Don't worry - we've put together the recipe here for a tasty Moon Cake Dish:
