This day a year ago our game was released. During this year we worked a lot on fixing all kinds of bugs and now the game is in a good stable state. We are very happy about it and hope that you appreciate it as well.

Exiting Early Access was a big event for us after which we were working hard to polish the game even more so we could have our first vacation for the first time in many years of development.

Sales of the game turned out to be pretty good and covered our expenses - break even point happened after the Steam Daily Deal in April. And we could work the entire year living off our sales.

For a small and not very experienced studio it’s a very good result. Of course it would be nice if sales were more and we could have enough money for Legends of Eisenwald 2. One step at a time.

We will continue supporting the game and fix critical bugs but nothing major is going to be introduced. Except Chinese language will be added soon, and work started on Japanese version of the game.

As we promised, we will make two more DLCs. We are working hard already on the first one and it can become something bigger than we initially planned. Then instead of DLC it could be a serious addon. If that really happens we might start a small Kickstarter campaign for that.

Currently we are looking for funding for our next projects as well as looking to hire new personnel. Recently our team got a 2D artist and he like us loves medieval ages and historical reconstruction.

Today we release a major patch to the game bringing it to the 1.2 version. We did quite a bit of work on saves, fixed many smaller bugs in the AI and fixed the issue with summoned spirits – now they have a health bar and also you can now select any hex for summoning and any unit and direction for attack. This particular issue turned out to be non-trivial and took more time than we thought but we are happy it’s finally done.

List of changes:
  • Saves list bugs and fixes. Overwriting now works correctly, the overwritten record updates and moves up the list.
  • Spirits summoning and choosing a direction for attack fixed.
  • Spirits now have a correct health bar.
  • Werewolf sound for counterattack has been added.
  • Spell Gift of Medbh now works correctly and extra move is not granted if a character is in full health.
  • Fixed tutorial images for all languages.
  • Follower characters now are correctly deleted via events.
  • A rare bug where sell price for an item is higher than buy price is fixed.

If there are any bugs that really annoy you, please let us know and we will raise its priority and it will be fixed sooner.

Сегодня мы выпускаем объемный патч, который обновляет игру до версии 1.2. Мы провели работу над сохранениями, исправили много небольших ошибок в ИИ и исправили проблему с вызовом духов – теперь у них есть полноценный индикатор здоровья и можно выбрать любой гекс для вызова духа и затем выбирать любое направление для атаки. Эта проблема оказалась достаточно нетривиальной для исправления и заняла больше времени, чем мы изначально рассчитывали, но мы рады, что в конце концов это сделано.

Список изменений:
  • Исправления для списка сохранений. Перезапись теперь работает правильно, перезаписанное сохранение обновляется и перемещается вверх списка.
  • Призыв духа и выбор направления атаки теперь работает правильно.
  • У духов теперь есть полноценный индикатор здоровья.
  • Добавлен звук для контратаки оборотня.
  • Заклинание Дар Медб работает теперь правильно и не дает дополнительного хода, если персонаж полностью здоров.
  • Исправлены изображения для обучения на всех языках.
  • Последователи теперь правильно удаляются при помощи событий.
  • Исправлена редкая ошибка, когда предмет можно было дороже продать чем купить.

Если есть какие-то ошибки или проблемы в игре, которые вам больше всего надоедают, дайте нам пожалуйста знать и мы повысим их приоритет, чтобы они были исправлены быстрее.
