We’re excited to introduce Phonopolis - a new hand-crafted adventure set in a dystopian city made of cardboard where everybody obeys the oppressive Leader's orders - except for one young man… Enjoy the first teaser trailer! It’s still going to take us a generous amount of time to finish the game - please don’t expect it to come out within the next 12 months - but we’re so glad to finally be able to share the first bits and pieces with you.
You can now add Phonopolis to your Steam wishlist. You'll also find a collection of new screenshots on its Steam page; and on its News hub, there's a post where you can read more about the game's story, inspirations, and creative process. And it's also the place where we'll be sharing further updates ːsamorost_spiritː
An update has been released for Half-Life 2, Episode One, Episode Two, and Lost Coast.
- Fixed support for external controllers on Deck - Restored missing Commentary menu items - Fixed some stuttering on level transitions - Added chapter icons for Steam Deck UI
Happy Game is an absurd horror adventure game designed by Jaromír Plachý, who previously brought you the family-friendly games Botanicula and CHUCHEL. This time, however, Jaromír decided to make something a little less cheerful, and the result of his team’s work is a psychedelic journey through a little boy’s three horrible nightmares, each with its own style, creatures and puzzles.
Get in the proper mood with the very happy launch trailer:
Once again, we’re very happy to have worked with our favorite Czech music duo DVA, who created all of the spooky sounds and music for Happy Game. The original soundtrack is also available to purchase on Steam and is coming later to streaming services as well.
Hey everyone! I am super proud to announce VVVVVV 2.3, the first major update to the game in seven years!
(Adorable fan art by Cheep! Check out more of their work on Twitter!)
This release was made possible as a direct result of making the game's source code available last year, and accepting contributions from the community. It's the result of nearly 2000 commits to the codebase, fixing hundreds of small bugs and making the game run at its best on modern computers. A really big thanks to all of our contributors for helping to make this happen - especially Ethan Lee and especially especially InfoTeddy, who contributed the vast majority of the fixes to this version.
I'll link the complete changelog below, but the highlights are:
