THE SHORT STORY
Fortunately we had sold enough during the first launch window of the game to build up a nest. This allowed us to forecast all the work and changes we wanted to make over the game for the next few years. We used these resources to rebuild and remaster the entire game.

We released a big update featuring Customization, PvP and revamped core mechanics in the form of ORION: Dino Horde in April 2013. This was released for free for all existing owners.

We released the largest update featuring Open Worlds, New Modes, Playable Dinosaurs and much more in the form of the originally-intended ORION: Prelude in August 2014. This was also released for free for all existing owners.

ORION: Prelude has become one of the best indie shooters of all time and has gone platinum time over time since it's original release. This is in full thanks to the support the game received and the hard work of the developers that stemmed from that support.

We absolutely love ORION: Prelude and know that so many more of you do as well. Thanks for sharing the journey with us and we hope to see you in Space!
