First Weekly Leaderboard Challenge begins today!
-Access the weekly challenge from the level select screen and compete against the worldwide community for one of the top spots on the Leaderboard and win a copy of Atom Zombie Smasher on Steam!
-The challenge is only accessible for one week and ends Sunday April 22nd at 11:59 PST

New functionality:
-A new launch menu has been added to the initial startup of Waveform. This will allow users to customize their resolution settings before entering the game, which will help address issues some users have been having with resolution incompatibilities

-Fixed score inconsistency in Jupiter 2

Bug fixes:
-Correctly save achievements earned during Deep Space Modes
-Fix awarding the Credits achievement
-Fixed a crash when loading certain levels at very high resolutions
-Fixed missing level content for Venus 3 at resolutions having an aspect ratio near 5:4
-Fixed a visual bug when the Singularity consumes a Radar Array
-Visual cleanup of Credits level, including a special thank-you surprise at the end!
-Properly hide cursor when leaving the pause menu, if that option is selected
-Fixed text line-break spacing for very small and very large resolutions

Updates to Waveform have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:


Bug fixes:
-Fixed the sticky cursor bug plaguing a few users. Special thanks to the Steam community for their help tracking this one down and to admiralnlson for his Metacritic review that brought the issue to our attention
-Fixed crash for graphics cards whose OpenGL implementation cannot support glBlendFuncSeparate
-Don’t show global stats on loading screen if no data is available from the Steam servers
-Fix missing level objects in Sun 7 (the credits level)
-Correctly save achievements earned during Deep Space Modes

New functionality:
-If you have the option selected to pause the game by right-clicking the mouse, you can now unpause the game by right-clicking the mouse

Note for any user experiencing strange visual bugs on the title screen (i.e. black screen, missing images)
-Support is coming soon for a launcher menu upon entering the game to change visual options in order to fix compatibility errors. In the meantime, try modifying the game's resolution and fullscreen settings in the config.ini file located within the config folder of the game's install directory, which has helped many users fix their problems thus far.

This update addresses the following compatibility issues that affected some users:
-Texture display problems on netbooks (some textures appeared as white boxes)
-Running the game on Vista or Windows 7 with Aero enabled
-Black screen in any level with the Distortion effect

Also included in this update are two features requested by the community:
-Press 'Esc' to back out of menus. Previously pressing 'Esc' would quit the game
-Choose whether or not to have the cursor visible in-game. Toggle this via the Options menu

This update addresses compatibility issues some users were having when trying to run Waveform with older machines or graphics cards. Give it a try if it wasn't working for you before!

Also included in this update are two options requested by the community, both of which can be found in the options menu:
-Choose whether or not you prefer holding the mouse button down to reform the shape of your wave -Choose whether or not to have the game pause by pressing the right-mouse button
